OPERATING THE UNIT
1.-RESET BUTTON
The unit must be reset under the following condition:
A)Prior to using this unit for the first time after
installation.
B)If the unit fails to operate properly, press the
RESET with a pen tip or other pointed instrument.
2.-SEL BUTTON & VOL KNOB
A)Press the SEL repeatedly to select:
VOLUME-BASS-TREBLE-BALANCE-FADER
B)Press and hold the SEL button to turn on BEEP ON
/BEEP OFF mode, then press SEL button shortly and
repeatedly to select USER SET USER SET (FLAT/
CLASSIC/ROCK/POP), VOL LAST/VOL DEFA(AVOL),
AMERICA3/EUROPE,STEREO/MONO(in FM mode),
LOUD OFF/LOUD ON, DX/LOCAL(in FM mode),
CLK ON/CLK OFF, CLK 12/24 mode.
3.-POWER ON/OFF AND MUTE
Press the POWER to turn on the unit.
Press and hold the button to turn it off.
During playback, press this button to mute mode.
4.-LCD DISPLAY
5.-MODE BUTTON
Press the MODE to SELECT RADIO/CARD
(SD/MMC card inserted)/USB(flash driver inserted)
/AUX mode.
6&7.-TUNE, SEEK, TRACK, SKIP UP/DOWN BUTTONS
A)Radio mode
Press the >>| or |<<| to perform manual seek tuning.
Press and hold the >>| or |<< to perform automatic
tuning.
The unit will tune to the station with strong signal.
B)SD/MMC and USB mode
Press the >>| or |<<| to play the next or previous track.
8.-BAND BUTTON
In radio mode:
Press the BAND to select radio band as follow:
FM1-FM2-FM3-AM1-AM2
Press and hold the BAND button to activate the audio
storage function. The unit scans and preset the stations
with strongest signal.(18stations in FM and 12 stations
in AM)
In SD/MMC and USB mode:
Press and hold this button to activate TRACK SEARCH
mode to select your favorite songs.
9.-CLOCK BUTTON
Press the CLK to show the time. To adjust the time,
press and hold the CLK until it flashes, then Rotate the
VOL Knob to adjust the hour and minute.
10-15.- PRESET STATIONS MEMORY AND >||,
INT, RPT,RDM BUTTONS
A)In radio mode:
Press one of the 1-6 button to select the preset stations.
Press and hold one of the 1-6 button to store the current
listening station.
B)SD/MMC and USB mode
Press the >|| to pause or resume playback.
Press the INT to play the first 10 seconds of each track.
Press the button again to turn off this function and
remain to play current track.
Press the RPT once to repeat playing the current track.
Press the RPT twice to repeat playing the current folder.
Press the RDM to turn random playback on/off.
Press the 5/6 to play previous or next 10th track.
(Note: When the remain tracks are less than 10, this
function will be invalid)
Press and hold the 5/6 to play previous or next folder.
16.-AUX INPUT JACK(3.5MM STERO JACK
Press the MODE to select auxiliary input playing mode
when connecting with external audio device.
17.-SD/MMC CARD SLOT
When SD/MMC card is inserted, the unit will switch to
SD/MMC mode automatically.
(Note: If both USB storage device and SD/MMC card
are inserted, the unit will switch to the mode of latter
one)
18.-USB PORT
When USB storage device is connected, the unit will
switch to USB mode automatically.
