Assembly
1. Turn clockwise to loosen the end of tube sleeve, and insert the tube which connects to the search-coil in the sleeve. Adjust the length, so you can stand comfortably and straighten your arms. Lock the sleeve counter-c lockwise when the search-coil is 1/2 inch from the ground.(See fig.1 and fig.2)

2. Attach the control console with two nuts on the bottom of detector arm. Align the control box's two holes with two holes of the bend shape tube, and lock with bolts. (See fig.3)
Fig3
3. Coil the cable of the search-coil around the tube pole, keep slightly loose. So that the cable
won’t sway, and then insert the cable plug into the lower right socket of the control box.(See fig.4)
Fig4
4. The arm support corbel has two positions. The initial corbel location is the longer position. If your arms are shorter, such as women, children, you can adjust the corbel position. Please loosen and remove the left and right screw under of the corbel. So that the left and right corbels are loose. Adjust the corbel forward to another position. And then replace and tighten the two screws.(See fig.5)

Batteries
Please use 6 alkaline AA batteries.
1. Press the “key” on the battery cover in the direction of the arrow, pull off the battery
cover.( See fig 6)
Fig6
2. Insert the 6 AA batteries into the compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols marked inside the compartment. (See fig.7)
Fig7
3 Align the battery cover with battery port (the UP-side is facing up), then replace the cover.
6 alkaline batteries will operate for about 40 hours. If you don’t use detector for a week or
more, please remove the batteries from the battery box.

The Panel Controller (Figure.8)

Power off: Power on/off power supply, the same knob controls Volume. MODE Switch: Three modes. DISC,ALL METAL and TONE. SENS: Is used to adjust the detector’s sensitivity. It is appropriate t o reduce the
sensitivity when there is metallic interference.
DISC/TONE: R otate the control clockwise from 0 to 10, the detect or may reject
the objects that you don’t want in order. in the “0” position, the unit will respond to any metal obj ects. While in the “10” position, the unit will reject most metal
objects, it will only respond to the highest conductivity silver metal. When the MODE switch is in the DISC mode or TONE mode, it discriminates. While in the ALL METAL mode, it does not discriminate and DISC and TONE are useless.
VOLUME: Is used to adjust the loudness of the speaker. LO W B ATT: When the red LED lights, indicates the user should replace the
batteries. Target Button: Press and hold the red Target Button, the detector mode will
convert from motion mode to no-motion mode, and the detector won’t
discriminate objects any more. At this time, as long as the sea rch coil app roache s
the metals slowly, the detector will respond. The clos er the dis tance is, the louder
the sound will be. It may help to pinpoint the target position. Earphone Jack: When the earphone is plugged in, the speaker will no longer
sound.
