Getting S tar ted BT204
To use your BT204 ster eo Bluetooth headset, pl ease f ollow the steps b el ow:
1.Ensur e your Bl uetooth Headset is fully c harged.
2.Pair your charged Bluetooth headset with a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone prior to use on

Charging Your Headset
Connect the US B chargi ng cable to charging USB sock et of the he ads et. The charging LED

indicat or keeps redwhil e charging; it wil l turn off once it is full y c harged.
Turning Your Headset On and Off
Turning on the headset
Press and hold the MFB for 3 seconds until a "beep" sound is heard, andthe connection LED
indicator flash fast.
About pairing functi on, please ref er t o "Pairi ng Your Headset ".
Turning Off the headset
Press and hold theMFB for approximately 6 seconds until you see the connection LED
indicator flash red and turn off.
Attention: I f you wi ll not using the headset for a whi le, y ou shoul d consider turning off the
Blu etoot h func tion on your mobile phone as w ell.
Pairing Your Headset
The heads et work s wit h Bluet ooth-en abled ph ones, pri or to usin g and pairing y our h eadset
for t he first time, ple ase check if your mobi le phone is Blueto oth-enabled.
The pairing instructions for typical Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone are explained in
"Pairing Your Headset" .The headset pairing procedure may vary depending on the setting of
your mobil e phone. Please cont act the manuf actur e of your mobile phon e or its agent for
further inf ormation.
Pairing Your Headset
1. Place the headset and the mobile phone where they are easily viewable and no more than
one mete r apart .
2. Ensure th e heads et is t urned off.
3. Press and h old the MFB for 5 sec onds until th e connection LED indicator quick fl ashes,
and 2 "beep” s ounds are heard.
4. Ac t iv ate y ou r m obil e phones’ Bluetooth func tion; pl ease refer to your m obile phone user
gu ide for detail s .
5. Set the mobile phone to search for Bluetooth devices within range and select “BT204” from
the list of de vices shown.
6. Enter pass code "0000" and press "OK" to pair your headset with mob ile phone, when the
pairing is com pl et ed, t he connection LED indicator will flash green regular ly an d the heads et
in standby mode.
7. Go back your mob ile phone’s main menu.
The headset will be connected with the mobile phone automatically when some mobile
phone s are re -started.
Answering / Rejecting ca ll
W hen a call is coming, the ring tone wil l be heard by headset, press the MFB once to accept
the call or ans wer the call via your mobi le phone in normal way.
Long press the MF B to reject the incomi ng call.
Ending a call

While speaking, p ress the MFB once to end t he call or end t he call via your mob ile phone in
n ormal w ay.
Voice Dialing from Your Headset
If your mobil e phone is equipped with voic e dialing function, simply press the MFB for 1
second, and pl ease say the voice tag according to mobile phone tips.
Attention: For voice dialing, you must record the voice tag (the person name) into your mobile
phone prior to using the voic e dialing func tion on the headset, pleas e refer to your m obile
phone 's user guide on how to record t he voice tag.
Last Number Re-dialing From Your Headset
In standby st atus, doubl e press the MFB on your headset.

Adjusting the Volume
When you are on the phone or listen to the music, push the volume button repeated until you
reach the desir ed volume level.
Play / Pause Musi c
Wh en t he headset wa s c onnected with US B D ongle or stere o mobi le phone, p ress the Play/
Pause ke y t o Play / Paus e Mus ic.
Next / Last Track Key
During music play, push the Next / Last Track key t o select a next / last track.
Cancel the pair ing S tatus
In standby status, turn off the Bluetooth function of your mobil e phone. T he headset ne ed to
b e re-p ai red with your mobile phone after power on again .
Transferring a Call
While speaking, long push the volum e up butt on to tran s f e r a cal l f rom you r he ad set to
you r mob i l e p hone. When operate th i s, p l e a s e mak e su r e t he voi ce of y our h ea d s et i s at its
maximum.(Please check if your mobile phone has this function), repeat the above procedure
to tran sfe r t he call from you r mob ile p hone to your headset .
Connect with th e Last Paired Dev ice
The heads et wil l connect with t he last paired mob ile phone, if the pairing is successful, the
connection LED indicator will fla s h green every 5 seconds and in standby mode, if the pairing
cannot be completed within 2 minutes after the pairing mode has been activated, the headset
will turn int o st andby mode.

BT2 04 can be paired with t wo mobile phones at the same time.

If BT204 w as previously p aired to on e mobile phone, it is possible t o be paired with a 2nd
mobile phone: restart BT204 (switch off and switch on) to enter pairing mode; repeat the
above pairing procedure to pair BT204 with the 2nd mobile phone; and then reconnect BT204
with 1st m obile phone; finall y t wo mobile phones c onnect wi th i5 successfull y.
If BT 20 4 c onn ec t s w it h you r i P hon e, yo u c an s ee t h e b attery m eter au t om at ic al ly di spl a y
on the status bar, so y ou can know better w hen BT204 should be charged.
Troubleshooting
If you are unabl e to connect your headset and your mobile phone, pleas e try the following:
Ensure your h eads et is t urned off and is pr operly charged.
Ensure the headset is pai red with your mobi le phone.
Ensure your m obile phone's Bluet ooth feature is activat ed. Please refer to your m obile
phone user gui de for specific i nst ruction.
En su re t h e h ea ds et i s w i th in a 10 m eter r an g e of y ou r m ob il e p ho n e an d th er e a re n o
obstructions, such as w alls or other electr oni c devices in b etween.
If the above st eps do not solve y our problem , p lea se rechar ge the heads et and remov e your
mobil e phone battery for a short ti me.
Safety Inf orm ati on
Check local laws regardin g t he use of mobile ph on es and headsets whil e driving .If you
use the heads et w hi le driving, ensure your attenti on and f ocus remain s on the road and
you drive in a responsibl e and safe m an ner.

Observe all signs that require an electrical device or RF radio products to be switched off
in designated areas. These could include hospitals, blasting areas, and potentially
explosiv e environm ents.
Turn off your headset prior to boarding an aircraft .Do not use your headset in an aircraft.
Never m ount or store your headset over any air b ag development area as serious injur y
may result when t he air bag deplo ys .
Do not open or mutilate the built-i n bat tery.
Di spose of batteries according to local regu lations. Do not dispose as househol d waste.

Do not expose the headset to extreme temperature conditions .The best store
temperature range is from - 0 to + 60, otherwise the life of the headset will be influenced.
Do not dispose the he adset of a fire as th is may r esul t in an exp losive.
Do not bring y our head set int o contact w ith sharp obj ects as this w ill caus e scratched
an d damage.
Do not attempt to disassemble the headset, as it does not contain serviceable
components.
If you do not use the headset for long periods, be sure to store it in a dry place, free from

Charging
Incorrect reassembly can cause electronic shock when the headset is subsequently
used.
