Compliance with FCC Regulations
This device complies with P art 15 of the FCC Rul es. Operation is su bject to the following
two conditions:
1. this device may not cause harmful interference, and
2. this device mus t accept any interfer ence received, including
interfer ence that may cause undes ired opera tion.
NOTE : This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuan t to Par t 15 of the FCC Rules. These lim its are desig ned to provide
reasona ble protection again st harmful interfer ence in a residential installation . This
equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and
used in accordance with th e instructions , may cause har mful inter ference to radio
communication s. However, there is no gu arantee that inter ference will n ot occur in a
particular installation. If th is equipment do es cause harmful interference to radio or
television r eception, which can be determined by tur ning the equ ipment off and o n, the
user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following
measur es:
- Reorient or r elocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase th e separation betwe en the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipm ent into an outl et on a circuit differen t from that to which the
receiver is conn ected.

Important Safety Instr uctions
When used in th e directed manner, this un it has been designed and m anufactured to ensur e
your personal safety. However, improper use can result in potential electrical shock or fire
hazards. Plea se read all safety and operating in structions careful ly before install ation and
use, and keep these instructions handy for future reference. Take special note of all
warnings listed in these instructions and on the unit.
1. Water and M ois ture
The u nit should n ot be used near water. For exam ple: near a bathtub, washbo wl,
kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in a set basement.
2. Ventilation
The unit should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its
proper ventilation. For ex ample, it should no t be situated on a bed, sofa, rug or simi lar
surface that may block the ventilation openings. The ventilation should not be impeded
by covering the ventilati on openings with items, such as newspapers, table- cloths,
curtains, etc. Also, it should not b e placed in a built-i n installation , such as a bookcase
or cabinet, which may impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings.
3. Heat & Fla me
The unit should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
No naked flam e sources, such as lig hted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
4. Power Source
The unit sh ould be connected to a power s upply only of the type described in the
operating instructions or as marked on the appliance.
Wher e the AC/DC Adaptor is u sed as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall
remain readily oper able.
5. Power Cord Pr otection
Power s upply cords should be routed so that they are not l ikely to be walked on or
pinched by items placed upon or agains t them. It is always best to have a clear area
from where the cord exits the unit to where it is plugged into an AC outlet.
6. Cleaning
The unit should be cleaned only as recomm ended. See the section "Care and
Maintenance" of this manual for cleaning instructions.
7. Object a nd L iqui d Ent ry
Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into any
openings or vents located on the product. It shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing
and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
8. Attachments
Do not us e attachments not r ecommended by the produ ct manufacturer.
9. Lightning and Power Surge Pr otection
Unplug the unit from the wall outlet and disconnect the periods of time. This will
prevent damag e to the product due to l ightning and power-li ne surges.
10. Overloadin g
Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles as
this can result in a risk of fire of electric shock.
11. Damage Requiring Service
This unit should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
A. The power su pply cord or plug h as been damaged.
B. Objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled into the enclosure.
C. The unit has been exposed to rain.
D. The unit has been dropped or the enclosure dam aged.
E. The unit exhibits a marked change in performance or does not operate normally.
12. Periods of Nonuse
If the unit is to be left unused for an extended period of time, such as a month or longer,
the power cor d should be unplugged from the unit to pr event damage or cor rosion.
13. Servicing
The user should not attemp t to service the unit beyond th ose methods des cribed in the
user's oper ating instr uctions. Service metho ds not covered in the o perating
instructions should be referred to qualified service personnel.
