Thank you f or buying the new P BT30M Headset w ith Bluetooth wi reless techno logy. Before
first tim e use, it is import ant to charge the b attery for 8 hours .
● Turning on the H eadset
While the H eadset is power ed down, press an d hold S1 until blu e LED turns on. A low tone
followe d by a high tone will i ndicate that th e PBT30M is powere d up. Afterward, bl ue LED
will flas h every 3 seconds .
● Turning off th e Headset
While the H eadset is power ed up, press and ho ld S1 until red LED tu rns on. A high tone
followe d by a low tone will in dicate that the P BT30M is powere d down.

Transferring Cal ls (For Nokia 3650 or equiv alent models)
When you are in se ssion, calls can be trans ferred from the Bluetoo th phone to the HS and from
the HS to the Bluet ooth phone.
To transfer a call from the B luetooth phone to the HS: p ress S1 once, the call wil l be
transferred t o the HS.
To transfer a call from HS to t he Bluetooth phone, ple ase follow the operati ng instructions of
your phone.
Muting the micr ophone
To mute the microphone du ring an active call press b oth S2 and S3 buttons simu ltaneously for
about a second a nd the microphone will be m uted. A periodic beep tone will be he ard when the
mute function i s active.
To end the mute function: W hen the microphone is mut ed, press both S2 and S3 butt ons
simultaneo usly. Mute function is ended and t he periodic beep tone wi ll stop.
Ending Calls
While a call is in s ession on the Headset pre ssing S1 will disconnec t the call. After the call is
disconnect ed, the blue LED will flash n ormally again.
To make a new call using vo ice dial
Make sure the vo ice dialing function is s et up in the mobile phone and i t is within the range of
the Headset. Pr ess S1 on the PBT30M short ly. There is a beep tone on the headse t.Then use
your recorde d voice commands ( eg. By say ing the name of the person) . The call will be
connected in a f ew seconds.

Heads et in Pairin g Mode
Make su re the PBT30 M is fully cha rged and th e charging ca ble is disc onnecte d from it befo re
pairi ng starts. Wh ile the PBT 30M is powe red off, pre ss and hold S1 un til red and bl ue LEDs
flash ing altern ately. It indi cates tha t the Headse t is in Pairin g Mode.
Follo w the operat ing instr uctions fo r your Bluet ooth mobil e phone to st art the pair ing proces s.
Typical ly, this has to be d one by going t o a setup or co nnect menu a nd then sele cting the
optio ns to discov er Blueto oth device s. Bluetoo th may take se veral sec onds to esta blish a
conne ction.
Your phone 's displa y should ind icate that i t has found t he “PBT30M ” headset an d asks if you
want to pa ir it. You shoul d confirm th is. The phon e's displ ay would pro mpt you for a pa sskey
or PIN. En ter a seque nce of “0000 ”.
The hea dset LED wil l flash blu e every 3 seco nds, indic ating succ essful pa iring. Usu ally the
phone wi ll also ask wh ether yo u want to chan ge the heads et's name. We recommen d to keep
the def ault name PB T30M inste ad of chang ing it.
If pair ing does not o ccur as exp ected:Tur n off both the he adset and t he phone and wa it for 10
secon ds. Turn on the he adset and p hone again an d repeat a ll steps fro m beginnin g. Pairin g
does au thorize th e devices l ike mobile ph ones and he adsets wit h each othe r and only nee ds
to be per formed onc e.
Establishing Bluetooth Link
After successfully pairing the PBT30M and the mobile phone, you may need to establish a Bluetooth
link between them according to the operation manual of your mobile phone. To establish the link, press
S1 shortly. Use Nokia 6130i as an example, the mobile phone will show “Do you accept PBT30M
request for connection?” Select YES to establish the link. You are ready to make and answer calls on
the Headset. For other phones, please follow the operation manual to establish the link. You are ready
to make and answer calls on the Headset.
Please note:
If the headset is powered down, turning on the headset will auto reconnect the last used device. If the
headset is disconnected but powered on, press S1 shortly to connect the link again. If there is
abnormal loss of link happened (e.g. out of range), the headset will automatically try to reconnect the
mobile phone several times.
If the mobile phone cannot locate the network signal (e.g. out of reach) , alert tone will be heard every
5 seconds in the headset.
Not every mobile phone supports no network signal alert feature.
If there is no Bluetooth connection for more than 1 hour, the headset will switch off automatically.
Answering Incoming Calls
When you wear the headset, an incoming call is present, the PBT30M headset will ring. Pressing S1
will answer the call.
Attention: Some phones put the Bluetooth connection into Standby Mode if it has not been used for
some time. When there is phone call in, only the mobile phone rings and it will take a few seconds to
transfer the call to headset. You have to wait until you hear the ring tone in headset. If you press S1 to
take the call before you hear the ring tone in headset, the headset will try to establish Bluetooth
connection. This will cause connection conflicts between mobile phone and headset.

shor t beep pe riod icall y. Aft er this i ndica tion yo u still h ave up to 1 5 minut es talk t ime. When
the ba ttery l evel is t oo low, th e Heads et will a utoma tical ly powe r off. It c annot b e power ed on
agai n unle ss the cha rger i s conne cted or th e batte ry is suf ficie ntly ch arged .
Batt ery re chargi ng
To recha rge the b atter y, put the h eadse t on phon e holde r. Durin g recha rging , the LED
show s a stead y red lig ht.
When t he batt ery is fu lly cha rged, t he indi cator s of red li ght wil l be off .
