German , Sp anish, Italian.

Audio Language

High li ght the AUDIO option, a nd p ress the arrow
keyto ch oose. Press <ENTER> to co nf irm. There
are 5 op ti onals: English, Fre nc h, German, Spanish
and Ital ian.

Disc Menu Language

High li ght the DISC MENU optio n, a nd press the
arro w bu ttons to choose. Pres s <ENTER> to

Display Setting

TV Displ ay

a. Nor ma l/PS (4:3 Pan& Scan): You c an fill the

movie to t he e ntire screen of your TV . Th is
might me an t hat parts of the pictur e (t he left
and righ t ed ges) won't be seen.

b. Nor ma l/LB (4:3 Letter Box) : Yo u' ll see the
movies i n th eir original aspe ct r atio (height to
width ra ti o). You'll see the en ti re frame of the
movie, b ut i t will take up a smalle r po rtion of
the scre en v ertically. The movi e mi ght appear with bla ck b ars at the top and
bottom o f th e screen.

c. Wide (1 6:9 Wide Screen): You w il l see movies in their ori gi nal aspect ratio. You
will see t he entire frame of the movi e but it will take up a small er p ortion of the
screen v er tically. The movi e mi ght appear with black b ar s at the top and bottom
of the scr ee n.

outp ut f ro m the coaxial outpu t ja ck or optical output ja ck .

Parental Setting

Password

The pass wo rd option is initia li zed locked, and
you ca nn ot set the ratings limi t or c hange the
pass wo rd. In order for the rati ng s feature to work,
the pa ss word mode must be turne d on . If you
want to se t th e ratings limit, you wi ll need to
entr e th e default password wh ic h is 8888, then
pres s <E NTER> to confirm. To chan ge the
pass wo rd, you will be prompte d fo r the old
pass wo rd, then be prompted fo r a ne w. Enter
a 4 digi t nu mber (this is your pass wo rd).
Please r em ember your PASSWORD , as t he
defa ul t setting will revert e ve rything but the
pass wo rd to the factory defau lt s. The password
defa ul ts setting is 8888.

Rating

The rati ng f eature is a rating li mi t sy stem,

like m ov ie ratings. It works wi th D VD discs
that hav e been assigned a ratin g. T his helps
you co nt rol the types of DVDs tha t yo ur
fami ly w atches.
The rati ng d efaults setting is at g ra de 8,
whic h is n o limit for any disc.
