Operating Instructions
As of 5/13/02
The RediPulse Pro-10™ is a revolutionary system designed to charge and maintain up to ten 12-volt lead-acid
batteries at the same time. Its primary function is to preserve new batteries at peak charge levels by keeping the
plates in like-new condition during storage situations. This unit uses our unique ReNew-IT Pulse Technology™
to remove damaging lead-sulfate deposits on the battery plates. By "cleaning" the plates, the Pro-10 helps
batteries provide maximum performance and reliability.
The Pro-10 is ideal for any type of company or facility that sells or stores batteries. It’s also great for refreshing
new batteries that have been sitting in storage too long.
Using the RediPulse Pro-10 is simple. Just follow the easy instructions inside.
WARNING:
Because of the possibility of personal injury, always use
extreme caution when working with batteries.
PREPARATION FOR SERVICE & OPERATION
• Inspect the RediPulse Pro-10 for visible damage which might have occurred during shipping and delivery.
• Plug the ac adapter into an electrical outlet (110-volt or 220-volt depending on unit). NOTE: This adapter is
specially designed for this unit. DO NOT use any other adapter. If the adapter has to be replaced at some
point in time, contact PulseTech to order another one.
• Connect the separate sets of positive and negative cables to the batteries (one battery per set -- DO NOT
use on batteries connected in series or parallel). Attach the red positive (+) cable to the positive (+) battery
post and the black negative (-) cable to the negative battery post. If an audible alarm sounds, it indicates an
improper connection.
• At this point the LED above each battery cable in use will light as long as the battery has a charge level of at
least 11 volts. Anything below that will not activate the unit. If the LED light does not light, first make sure the
clips are attached to the battery posts correctly. Also, for safety reasons, the Pro-10 has an undervoltage
lockout. If the light still does not light, this means the battery may have a shorted cell or is below an acceptable
level of power. Remove the battery and have it charged or serviced before attaching it again.
• Turn the POWER switch to the ON position.
NOTE: The Pro-10 is capable of restoring recoverable batteries (i.e. no damaged plates or cells) to their
maximum potential, but results will vary per battery. Also, the amount of time it takes to effectively clean the

battery plates will vary depending on age and/or condition of each battery. Some batteries may take as long as
five days to clean.
PRECAUTIONS
• Use on single batteries only. DO NOT use on batteries connected in series or parallel.
• Make sure the correct terminal attachments are connected to the correct terminals (i.e. positive on positive).
• DO NOT hold the positive and negative ends of the cables at the same time while the unit is active. It can
inflict an electric charge to the body.
PULSE WAVEFORM
What makes the ReNew-IT Pulse Technology utilized by PulseTech products so unique -- and so effective -is the distinct pulse waveform that defines it. This patented waveform has a strictly controlled rise time, pulse
width, frequency, and amplitude of current and voltage pulse.
No other battery maintenance systems in the world has this specific waveform which means no other system
can provide the same exceptional benefits as PulseTech battery charging and maintenance systems.
