The Micro-USB Port

The NEO Cradle Modem can act as a USB Client.
Make certain the switch at the back of the cradle is
positioned to the left to activate the USB port.

The Dial-up Modem Port
Insert the smaller end of the USB cable in the
micro-USB port.
Insert the standard-sized end of the USB cable into
the host computer.

Make certain the switch at the back of the cradle is
positioned to the right to activate the modem port.
Insert the RJ-11 cable into the modem port.
Insert the opposite end of the RJ-11 cable into
a wall outlet.

Insert the NEO to Charge its Battery.

Allow the NEO and the spare battery to charge for three hours
before rst use.
Note: Use only the universal
AC power supply approved by
Psion Teklogix for use with the
Docking Station.
Note: Full battery performance is only reached
after the rst few charge/discharge cycles.

Connect the Cradle Modem to External Power.
Choose a Plug for the Universal Power Adaptor.
The adaptor may already be tted with the plug you need.
1. Press the button on
the power adaptor to
release the plug.
2. Slide the existing plug
out of the adaptor.
3. Slide in the desired
plug into the adaptor
until it clicks.

Quick Start Guide
Note: During charge, the LED indicator on the
NEO is YELLOW until charging reaches 75%.
Between 75% and 95% the indicator ashes
GREEN slowly, and, above 95%, the indicator is
GREEN continuously. The LED indicator on the
Docking Station behaves the same when a spare
battery is being charged.

The Cradle Modem can be xed to the optional
Wall Mount Bracket (model PX3011), or to another
surface, using two broad-headed screws.
Mounting The Cradle Modem
Mounting screw (quantity 2)
Mounting holes (quantity 2)
Rubber feet (quantity 4)
Insert the screws into the holes on the base of the unit,
then slide the unit towards the back to secure it.
Note: The position of the
mounting holes is indicated
by markings on the front and
sides of the Cradle Modem.
