1. Sicherheit / Safety

Es ist sicherzustellen, dass jede Person, die mit der Aufstellung, Inbetriebnahme, Bedienung, Wartung
und Reparatur der Antriebe beauftragt ist, die ausführliche Betriebsanleitung und besonders das

Kapitel „Sicherheit“ gelesen und verstanden hat. / Please ensure that the detailed operating
instructions and the chapter on "Safety" in particular have been read and understood by all personnel
involved in the installation, start-up, operation, maintenance and repair of the actuators.

Vorsicht! Lebensgefährliche elektrische Spannung kann anliegen! Sach- oder Personenschäden sind
durch geeignete Maßnahmen und Einhaltung der Sicherheitsstandards zu vermeiden! / Caution!

Dangerous electrical voltage can be present! Avoid personal or material damages by observing
applicable regulations and safety standards!

Achtung! Handhabungsvorschriften beachten. Elektrostatisch gefährdete Bauelemente. / Attention!

4. Armaturenanbau / Valve mounting

Die Steckkupplung (2) besitzt einen verlängerten Indikatorzahn (3), der die Stellung
der Kupplung eindeutig definiert. Er kann bei Bedarf z.B. abgefeilt werden. / There is

one prominent indicator tooth (3) at the drive bush (2), to define its zero position.
This tooth may be filed off, if appropriate. 1 = ISO-Montageflansch/ISO mounting
flange

Damit keine Bauteile im Inneren des Antriebes beschädigt werden, ist der
Armaturenanbau stets mit geschlossener Antriebshaube vorzunehmen.

For valve mounting please ensure that the cover of the actuator is always closed in
order to avoid that components inside the actuator are damaged.

5. Elektroanschluss / Electric supply

Vor Arbeitsbeginn Netzspannung trennen! Schaltplan in der Haube!

Switch off the mains before starting to work! Wiring diagram in the cover!

6. Einstellung der Endlage / Setting of the mechanical stop

Nur bei Lieferung ohne Ventil! / Only when supplied without valve!



Zur mechanischen Begrenzung des Antriebsschwenkwinkels stehen zwei einstellbare mechanische

Endanschläge zur Verfügung (Pos. 1 & 2 im Bild unten).



Schutzkappen (Pos. 3) der beiden Einstellschrauben entfernen.



Beide Innensechskant-Schrauben um ca. 5 Umdrehungen herausdrehen.



Antrieb per Handrad im Uhrzeigersinn verfahren, bis die Armatur geschlossen ist.



Einstellschraube für ZU-Stellung (Pos. 1) bis zum Anschlag eindrehen.



Antrieb per Handrad entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn verfahren, bis die Armatur offen ist.



Einstellschraube für AUF-Stellung (Pos. 2) bis zum Anschlag eindrehen.



Schutzkappen wieder korrekt aufsetzen!

 There are two adjustable screws for setting the mechanical limits (items 1 & 2).
 Remove the sealing cap (item 3) from either stop screw.
 Unscrew both hexagon socket screws by approximately 5 turns.
 By turning the handwheel clockwise, move the actuator to the closed position.
 Screw the stop screw for closed position (item 1) to its stop.
 By turning the handwheel anti-clockwise, move the actuator to the open position.
 Screw the stop screw for open position (item 2) to its stop.
 Close the protection caps properly!

Die Anzeigekugel der Stellungsanzeige per Hand in die gewünschte Stellung drehen. /
The position indicator ball is easily adjustable to the required orientation by hand.

7. Inbetriebnahme / Commissioning

Achtung! Handhabungsvorschriften beachten. Elektrostatisch gefährdete Bauelemente. /

Attention! Observe precautions for handling. Electrostatic sensitive devices.

Im Auslieferzustand befindet sich der PSQ-AMS-Antrieb im Zustand „nicht initialisiert“, d.h. die grüne LED blinkt
langsam. In diesem Zustand erfolgt keine Reaktion auf Sollwertvorgabe oder andere Fahrbefehle. Abhängig von der
programmierten Abschaltart muss durchgeführt werden:

Automatische Inbetriebnahme, wenn in mindestens einer Endlage per „Drehmoment“
oder per „Weg automatisch“ abgeschaltet wird.

- Aufbau & Anschluss gemäß Punkten 1 bis 6 durchführen

- Versorgungsspannung einschalten

- Taster im Anschlussbereich der Hauptplatine für ca. 3 Sekunden drücken

- Es erfolgt der automatische Inbetriebnahme-Lauf. Der Antrieb durchfährt den
eingestellten Bereich

- Nach Abschluss (LED zeigt dauerhaft „Grün“) beide Anschlagschrauben unbedingt wieder um eine ganze
Umdrehung lösen (nur bei Abschaltung „per Weg automatisch“).

Manuelle Inbetriebnahme, wenn in beiden Endlagen „per Weg“ abgeschaltet wird.
Diese muss mittels Software PSCS oder Ortsteuerung PSC.2 durchgeführt werden. Siehe entsprechende Anleitungen
(erhältlich auf Anfrage).

The actuator is shipped in the „not commissioned” condition with the green LED flashing slowly. There will be no
response to any input (set value or open/close signal). Depending on the type of cut-offs programmed there are two
procedures:

Automatic commissioning if at least one of the cut-offs is set to be “by torque” or “by position automatically”.

- Mount and wire as per 1 – 6 above

- Switch on power supply

- Press the commissioning button on the main board for approximately 3 seconds

- The automatic commissioning run starts. The actuator will drive through the full
adjusted range.

- After commissioning (LED will show permanent “Green”) unscrew both mechanical

stop screws by one full turn mandatorily (only for cut-offs “by position automatically”).

Manual commissioning in case both cut-offs is “by position”. This is done either via software PSCS or via local control
box PSC.2, see respective instruction manual (available on request).
