This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit into the polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not properly fit into the outlet at first, reverse it. If it still does not fit, contact a competent qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from becoming entangled in, or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.

Before any operation, read carefully the instructions and keep them. The operations explained in paragraph 1, "instructions for assembly", are to be carried out by a qualified electrician and never by the user. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility in case of failure to respect these instructions.
1) INSTRUCTION FOR ASSEMBLY
The installation operation must be carried out by a qualified electrician and according to existing standards. When the appliance has been removed from its packaging, take off the adhesive plastic film that protects the steel parts. The glue residues must be removed accurately (do not use abrasive products). Check, by adjusting the feet, that the appliance is perfectly levelled on its base. The appliance is set for alternating current operation at the power indicated on the rating plate. In the power cord, the earth conductor is marked by green-yellow colours. The appliance is supplied with a cord conform to the power indicated on the rating plate. If a direct network connection is required, place magnetothermic switch on the circuit supplying the appliance. The earth yellow-green cable must not be discontinued.
