SECTION - 2 HAZARDS INFORMATION
Primary Route(s) of Entry: Skin contact / absorption and inhalation
Signs and Symptoms of Overexposure: Gastrointestinal i rri tation
(nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), i rri tation to nose, throat, and respi ratory
tract.
Target Organ Effects: Overexposure to this material (or its
components) has been sugges ted as a cause of the following
effects in laboratory animals and may aggravate pre-existing disorders

SKIN: Exposure may caus e mild skin irritati on. Prolonged or repeated
exposure may dry the skin. Sympt oms may include redness , burning,
drying and cracking and skin burns. A ddi tional symptoms of skin
contact may incl ude: al l ergi c reaction. Skin absorpti on i s possible, but
harmful effects are not expected from this route of exposure under
normal handling and use.
INHALATION: Exposure to vapor or mist is possible. S hort term
inhalation is no likely to cause harmful effect s: breathing large
amounts may be harmful. Symptoms are more typically seen at air
concentrations exceeding the recommended exposure limits.
INGESTION: Singl e dose oral toxicity is low. Swallowing small
amounts during normal handli ng i s not likely to cause harm ful effects:
swallowing large amounts may be harmful.

emptied. Since emptied containers retain product residues (vapor,
liquid, and/or solid), all hazard prec autions given in the data sheet
must be observed.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Keep container clos ed when not
in use.
SECTION - 8 EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Eye Protection: Chemical Splash goggle in compliance with OSHA
regulations are advised: however , OSHA regulati ons also permit other
type safety glasses. Consult your safety representative.
Skin Protection: Wear rubber gloves (consul t your safety equipment
supplier). To prevent repeated or prolonged skin contact, wear
impervious clothing and boots.
Respiratory Protection: If workplace exposure limits of product or
any component are exceeded (see exposure guidelines)
NIOSH/OSHA approved air supplied respirator is advised in the
absence of proper environmental control.
OSHA relations also perm i t other NIOSH/OSHA respirators (negative
pressure type) under specific conditions (see your industrial hygienist).
Engineering or administrat i ve c ont rol s should be implemented to
reduce exposure.
Engineering Controls: Provide sufficient mechanical (general and
local exhaust) ventilation to maintain exposure below level of
overexposure (from known, suspected or apparent adverse ef fects).
