Signs and Symptoms of Overexposure: Gastrointestinal i rri tation

IMMEDIATE HEALTH EFFECTS
EYES: Exposure may cause noticeable pain, and severe irritation.
SKIN: Exposure may caus e mild skin irritati on. Prolonged or repeated
exposure may dry the skin. Sympt oms may include redness , burning, and
drying and cracking. Additional symptoms of skin contact may inc l ude:
allergic reaction. Sk i n abs orption is possible, but harmful effects are not
expected from this route of exposure under normal handling and use.
INHALATION: Exposure to vapor or mist is possible. S hort term inhalation
is no likely to cause harmful effects: breathing large amounts may be
harmful. Sympt oms are more typically seen at air concentrations
exceeding the recommended exposure lim i ts.
INGESTION: Si ngl e dos e oral toxicity is low. Swallowing small amounts
during normal handling is not likely to cause harmful effects: swallowing
large amounts may be harm ful.

INHALATION- If s ymptoms develop, move victim to fresh air. If symptoms

safety glasses. Cons ul t your s afety representative.
Skin Protection: Wear rubber gloves (consul t your safety equipment
supplier). To prevent repeated or prolonged skin contact, wear impervious
clothing and boots.
Respiratory Protection: If workplace exposure lim i t s of product or any
component are exceeded (see exposure guidelines), NIOSH/OSHA
approved air supplied respirator is advised i n t he absence of proper
environmental control. OS HA rel ations also permit other NI OS H/OSHA
respirators (negative pressure type) under specific conditions (s ee your

implemented to reduc e exposure.
