WARNINGS

 This appliance is intended to be used in

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all instructions before operating the appliance and keep them for future reference.

 Do not place the appliance near the edge of a bench or table during operation.

 Do not approach the steam vent during cooking, there could be a scalding hazard.
 Under no circumstances must the cooker come into contact with curtains, clothing, dish towels or other

flammable materials during use.

 Do not use the appliance outdoors.
 Do not leave the cooker unattended when in use.
 Extreme caution must be used when the cooker contains hot food and liquids. Do not move it during

cooking.

 Do not touch hot surfaces, use the handle.
 Always allow the cooker to cool down before storage or cleaning.
 Do not immerse the cooker, power plug and cord in water or any other liquids.
 Always wear oven gloves (not supplied) when removing lid and inner pot.
 Make sure the supplied spoon or the measuring cup is not in the inner pot when the

appliance is in use.

BEFORE FIRST USE

 Remove all packaging materials and make sure items are received in good condition.
 Wash the lid, inner pot, steam tray, measuring cup and spatula in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry

thoroughly. Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaners.

 Wipe the body with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the rice cooker body, cord or plug in water or any

other liquid.

OPERATION

To cook rice

1. Measure the amount of raw rice to be cooked using the supplied
measuring cup.

 One full, level cup of uncooked rice will yield 2 cups of cooked rice.

2. Rinse rice in a separate container until the water becomes relatively clear.

3. Remove the inner pot from the cooker and place the rinsed rice in the
inner pot.

4. Fill the inner pot with appropriate amount of water, using the supplied measuring cup or

the water measurement lines located inside the inner pot.

 NEVER ADD IN WATER OVER THE MAXIMUM LEVEL.

5. Make sure that the exterior of the inner pot is clean, dry and free of debris, set the inner pot in the rice

cooker. Place the lid over the top and plug the power cord into the mains socket.

 CAUTION: Do not operate the cooker without closing the lid. Steam will be generated
during use.

6. Switch on the rice cooker by setting the power switch to the

7. Press down on the cook switch. The COOK indicator light will illuminate.

 The cooking process will start as soon as the COOK indicator light illuminates.
 ATTENTION! During the cooking process, hot steam will escape from the steam vent. Danger of

scalding! Do not cover the appliance during use with a cloth or other objects.

8. When cooking is completed, the cook switch will jump and the cooker will automatically
switch to the warm mode.

 The WARM indicator light will illuminate.

9. When the cooker is not used, switch off and unplug it from the mains socket.

To steam food

1. Place the steam tray on the inner pot.

2. Place food on the steam tray if it fits or place food in a heat-proof bowl

and then place the bowl on the steam tray.

3. When steaming only, add the necessary amount of water into the inner

pot. If steaming while making rice, place the steam tray over the rice as it cooks, taking care to check food
every so often for doneness.

4. Place the lid on the steam tray.

5. Switch on the cooker and then press down on the cook switch. The COOK indicator light will illuminate.
 CAUTION: Do not open lid when in use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the cooker after each use.

Always switch off and unplug the appliance and allow it to cool to room temperature before cleaning.

 Do not immerse the body of the rice cooker in water or any other liquid.
 Clean the inner pot, steam tray, lid, measuring cup and spatula in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry

thoroughly.

 Never use any chemical or abrasive cleaner.

MISES EN GARDE IMPORTANTES

 Ne placez pas l’appareil près du bord d’une table ou d’un plan de cuisine pendant qu’il fonctionne.

Placez impérativement l'appareil sur une surface plane, sèche et propre.

 N'essayez en aucun cas de cuire des aliments en posant la cuve directement sur toute autre source de

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION

 Enlevez tous les matériaux d'emballage et assurez-vous que toutes les pièces sont en bon état.
 Lavez le couvercle, la cuve, le panier, la spatule et le verre doseur dans de l'eau chaude savonneuse.

Rincez et séchez bien toutes les pièces. N'utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage chimiques ou abrasifs.

 Nettoyez l'appareil en le frottant avec un chiffon humide. Le câble, la prise et l'appareil lui-même ne

doivent pas être mis dans l'eau ni dans tout autre liquide.

UTILISATION

Cuire du riz

1. Mesurez la quantité de riz cru à utiliser à l'aide du verre doseur prévu à cet effet.
 Un verre plein à ras bord de riz cru correspond à 2 verres de riz cuit.

2. Rincez le riz dans un récipient distinct en répétant jusqu'à ce que l'eau

devienne relativement transparente.

3. Sortez la cuve du cuiseur et mettez le riz rincé à l'intérieur.

4. Remplissez la cuve avec la quantité d'eau adéquate, en utilisant le verre doseur fourni ou les lignes de

niveau d'eau situées à l'intérieur de la cuve.

 LE NIVEAU D'EAU NE DOIT EN AUCUN CAS DÉPASSER LE NIVEAU MAXIMUM.

5. Assurez-vous que les surfaces extérieures de la cuve sont sèches, propres et libres de toutes saletés, puis

remettez la cuve en place dans le cuiseur. Mettez le couvercle en place, puis branchez l'appareil.

 ATTENTION : Ne faites pas fonctionner le cuiseur sans fermer le couvercle. De la vapeur s'échappe de

l'appareil lorsqu'il fonctionne.

6. Allumez le cuiseur en mettant le bouton marche/arrêt sur

7. Abaissez le bouton de cuisson. Le témoin COOK (cuisson) s'allume.

 La cuisson commence à partir du moment où le témoin COOK est allumé.
 ATTENTION ! De la vapeur brûlante s'échappe par les orifices pendant la cuisson. Risque de brûlure !

Ne couvrez pas l'appareil de quelque manière que ce soit (tissu etc.) pendant qu'il fonctionne.

8. Une fois la cuisson terminée, le bouton de cuisson remonte et le cuiseur passe automatiquement en

mode de maintien au chaud.

 Le témoin WARM (chaud) s'allume.

9. Quand vous avez fini d'utiliser le cuiseur, éteignez-le et débranchez-le.

Cuisson à la vapeur

1. Placez le panier de cuisson à la vapeur sur la cuve.

2. Mettez les aliments dans le panier à vapeur s’ils logent, ou mettez-les dans

un bol résistant à la chaleur que vous placerez ensuite dans le panier.

3. Pour la cuisson à la vapeur seule, versez la quantité d'eau nécessaire dans la

cuve. Pour cuire du riz et des aliments à la vapeur en même temps, placez le panier au-dessus du riz
pendant qu'il cuit et vérifiez régulièrement l'état d'avancement de la cuisson des aliments.

4. Placez le couvercle sur le panier de cuisson à la vapeur.

5. Branchez le cuiseur et abaissez le bouton de cuisson. Le témoin COOK (cuisson) s'allume.
 ATTENTION : Ne soulevez pas le couvercle en cours de cuisson.

6. Une fois la cuisson terminée, le cuiseur passe automatiquement en mode de maintien au chaud.

7. N'oubliez pas d'éteindre et de débrancher l'appareil quand vous avez fini de l'utiliser.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

Le cuiseur doit être nettoyé après chaque utilisation.

Éteignez et débranchez toujours l
nettoyer.

 Essuyez les surfaces extérieures avec un chiffon humide.
 La partie principale du cuiseur ne doit pas être plongée dans l'eau ni dans tout autre liquide.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORZORGEN

Lees de volledige handleiding aandachtig voordat u het apparaat gebruikt en bewaar deze
handleiding voor toekomstig gebruik

 Zet dit apparaat niet vlakbij de rand van een tafel of aanrecht terwijl het is ingeschakeld.

Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat op een vlakke, schone en droge ondergrond staat.

 Schakel de rijstkoker uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer het apparaat niet wordt gebruik

en voor het reinigen ervan.

 Laat het snoer niet over de rand van een tafel of aanrecht hangen, in contact komen met warme

oppervlakken en zorg ervoor dat er geen knopen in komen.

 Zet de binnenpan niet rechtstreeks op een andere warmtebron om te koken.
 Zorg er voor gebruik van dit apparaat voor dat de verwarmingsplaat en de buitenwanden van de

binnenpan schoon en droog zijn.

 Kook nooit zonder water. Overvul de binnenpan niet.
 Kook alleen in de binnenste pot en de stomer.
 Open het deksel niet tijdens het koken.
 Wees voorzichtig voor de stoomuitlaat tijdens het koken.
 Benader de stoomuitlaat niet tijdens het koken vanwege een gevaar van brandwonden.
 Laat de ingeschakelde rijstkoker onder geen enkele omstandigheid in contact komen met gordijnen, kledij,

vaatdoeken of andere brandbare materialen.

 Gebruik dit apparaat niet buitenhuis.
 Laat de ingeschakelde rijstkoker niet onbeheerd achter.
 Wees extreem voorzichtig wanneer de rijstkoker warm voedsel en vloeistof bevat. Verplaats het apparaat

niet tijdens het koken.

 Raak geen warme oppervlakken aan, raak het apparaat alleen bij de handgrepen aan.
 Laat de rijstkoker altijd afkoelen voordat u hem wegbergt of reinigt.
 Dompel de rijstkoker, het snoer of de stekker nooit onder in water of andere vloeistof.
 Draag steeds ovenwanten (niet meegeleverd) voor het openen van het deksel en verwijderen van de

binnenpan.
 Let erop dat de meegeleverde lepel en maatbeker niet in de binnenpan achterblijven wanneer het
apparaat wordt ingeschakeld.

VOOR DE EERSTE INGEBRUIKNAME

 Verwijder alle verpakkingsmaterialen en controleer of alle items in goede staat zijn.
 Was het deksel, de binnenpan, stoompan, maatlepel en serveerlepel af in een warm sopje. Spoel en

droog zorgvuldig. Gebruik geen schurende of chemische reinigingsmiddelen op dit apparaat.

 Veeg de behuizing schoon met een vochtige doek. Dompel de behuizing van de rijstkoker, het snoer

noch de stekker onder in water of andere vloeistof.

BEDIENING

Rijst koken

1. Meet de hoeveelheid te koken rijst met behulp van de meegeleverde
maatlepel.

 Een volle afgestreken lepel ongekookte rijst levert 2 koppen gekookte

rijst op.

2. Spoel de rijst in een andere houder tot het water relatief helder wordt.

3. Verwijder de binnenpan uit de rijstkoker en doe de gespoelde rijst in de binnenpan.

4. Vul de binnenpan met de geschikte hoeveelheid water, u kunt hiervoor de meegeleverde maatbeker of

de maatlijnen binnenin de binnenpan gebruiken.

 LAAT HET WATER NOOIT VOORBIJ HET MAXIMUMPEIL IN DE BINNENPAN KOMEN.

5. Let erop dat de buitenwanden van de binnenpan schoon, droog en vrij van vuil zijn voordat u de

binnenpan in de rijstkoker zet. Zet het deksel bovenop het apparaat en stop de stekker in een
stopcontact.

 LET OP: gebruik de rijstkoker niet zonder deksel. Er komt stoom vrij terwijl het apparaat is

ingeschakeld.

6. Schakel de rijstkoker in door de aan/uitschakelaar naar de stand

7. Druk de kookschakelaar neer. Het KOOK-controlelampje gaat branden.

 Het kookproces start zodra het KOOK-controlelampje brandt.
 AANDACHT! Tijdens het kookproces komt zeer warme stoom via de stoomopening vrij. Gevaar van

brandwonden! Dek het apparaat niet af met een doek of andere voorwerpen terwijl het is
ingeschakeld.

8. Nadat de rijst is gekookt springt de kookschakelaar op en gaat de rijstkoker automatisch over in de

modus warmhouden.

 Het WARM-controlelampje gaat branden.

9. Schakel het apparaat uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer de rijstkoker niet wordt gebruikt.

Voedsel stomen

1. Zet de stoompan bovenop de binnenpan.

2. Leg het te stomen voedsel als het mogelijk is in de stoompan of doe het

voedsel in een hittebestendige kom en zet de kom in de stoompan.

3. Wanneer u alleen maar stoomt dient u de benodigde hoeveelheid water in

de binnenpan te doen. Als u stoomt terwijl u rijst kookt zet u de stoompan boven de rijst terwijl deze
kookt. Vergeet niet af en toe te controleren of het voedsel gaar is.

4. Zet het deksel bovenop de stoompan.

5. Schakel de rijstkoker in en druk dan de kookschakelaar neer. Het KOOK-controlelampje gaat branden.
 LET OP: open het deksel niet terwijl het apparaat is ingeschakeld.

6. Wanneer het stomen klaar is, zal het apparaat automatisch in de modus warmhouden schakelen.

REINIGEN EN ONDERHOUD

Reinig de rijstkoker na elk gebruik.

Schakel het apparaat altijd uit, haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het afkoelen tot
kamertemperatuur voordat u het gaat reinigen.

 Reinig de buitenkant van het apparaat met een vochtige doek.
 Dompel de behuizing van de rijstkoker niet onder in water of andere vloeistof.
 Reinig de binnenpan, stoompan, het deksel, de maatbeker en serveerlepel in een warm sopje. Spoel en

droog zorgvuldig.

 Gebruik geen enkel soort van chemische of schurende reinigingsmiddelen.
