WARNINGS
This appliance is intended to be used in
household and similar applications such as:
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
working environments;
farm houses;
by clients in hotels, motels and other residential
type environments;
bed and breakfast type environments.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and if they understand
the hazards involved. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children aged less than 8 years.
Appliances can be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision

If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be
ejected.

water is boiling.
The appliance must not be immersed.

The heating element surface is subject to
residual heat after use.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The kettle has a dual voltage selector on the bottom of the kettle. Always
check that you have selected the correct voltage before using this kettle.
Be careful when opening the lid immediately after the water has boiled,
the steam coming out of the kettle is very hot constituting a risk of scalding.
Do not use the kettle to heat anything other than water. Never fill the kettle
beyond the maximum level indication.

OPERATION
Before first use, wash the spoons and cups.
It is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 to 3 times following the
instructions below. This will remove any dust or residues remaining from the
manufacturing process.
1. Remove the cups and spoons from the kettle.
2. Select the correct voltage by turning the selector on the bottom of the kettle.

This kettle can work in two voltages.
Select the 220V-240V voltage for use in the vast majority of the world such
as Great Britain, Europe, China, Africa and Australia.
Select the 110V-120V voltage for use in the countries and regions such as
America, Japan, Taiwan, Canada and Mexico.
3. Place the kettle on a dry, flat and stable surface.
4. Fill kettle with desired amount of cold water through the spout or the open lid.
Do not overfill the kettle by exceeding the Max level.
5. Close the lid by pressing it down until it clicks into place.
6. Plug the kettle into the mains socket.
7. Press the power switch. The water is being heated.
The power indicator light will illuminate.
NOTE: Use the kettle only when the lid is closed and the filter is in place.
8. The kettle will switch off automatically when the water boils.
The power indicator light will go out.
You can stop the boiling process by setting the power switch to the O position.
9. You can make hot drinks using the supplied cups and spoons. Slowly pour
the boiling water into the cups.
Cut-out for boil-dry protection
If you operate the kettle without water, the kettle will stop heating and
automatically switch off.
If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.
CLEANING AND DESCALING
Always unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool down
before cleaning.
Clean the outside of the kettle using a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. Never
immerse the kettle in water.
Remove the mesh filter from the spout. Clean it under running water and then
replace it.
Clean the spoons and cups under running water.
Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning agent.
Regularly descale the kettle using a specific descaler.
Wipe the inside of the kettle with a clean cloth.

MISES EN GARDE IMPORTANTES
Cette bouilloire peut fonctionner avec deux tensions différentes; le sélecteur
de tension est situé en dessous de l’appareil. Avant d'utiliser la bouilloire,
vérifiez toujours que la tension sélectionnée est correcte.
Les jets de vapeur sont très chauds et constituent un risque de brûlure:
Faites très attention lors de l'ouverture du couvercle une fois l'eau portée
à ébullition.
N'utilisez pas cette bouilloire pour faire chauffer quoi que ce soit d'autre que
de l'eau. Ne remplissez jamais la bouilloire au-delà du trait maximum.

UTILISATION
Avant la première utilisation, lavez les verres et les cuillères.
Il est recommandé de faire fonctionner la bouilloire à 2 ou 3 reprises
(voir instructions ci-dessous) avant de l’utiliser pour la première fois, afin
d’enlever la poussière et les résidus de fabrication.
1. Sortez les verres et les cuillères de la bouilloire.
2. Sélectionnez la tension qui convient avec le sélecteur situé sous la bouilloire.
220V-240V 110V-120V
Cette bouilloire peut fonctionner avec deux tensions différentes:
• La tension 220V-240V convient pour la plus grande partie du monde: Europe
continentale, Royaume-Uni, Chine, Afrique et Australie.
• La tension 110V-120V convient pour certains pays comme les États-Unis, le
Japon, Taïwan, le Canada et le Mexique.
3. Placez la bouilloire sur une surface plane, stable et sèche.
4. Remplissez la bouilloire avec la quantité d'eau froide souhaitée, que vous
verserez soit par le bec verseur soit après avoir ouvert le couvercle.
• Ne remplissez pas la bouilloire au-delà du niveau Max.
5. Refermez le couvercle en appuyant jusqu'à ce qu'il se verrouille.
6. Branchez la bouilloire.
7. Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt. L'eau commence à chauffer.
• Le témoin d'alimentation s’allume.
• REMARQUE : La bouilloire ne doit pas être utilisée avec le couvercle ouvert
ni sans le filtre en place.
8. Une fois l'eau portée à ébullition, la bouilloire s'éteint automatiquement.
• Le témoin lumineux s'éteint.
• Vous pouvez interrompre le processus à tout moment en mettant le bouton
marche/arrêt sur O.

9. Les tasses et les cuillères fournies peuvent servir à préparer des boissons
chaudes. Versez lentement l'eau bouillante dans les tasses.
Dispositif anti chauffe à sec
Si la bouilloire est allumée sans eau à l'intérieur, elle s'arrête de chauffer et
s'éteint automatiquement.
Si cela se produit, laissez la bouilloire refroidir, puis remplissez-la avec de
l'eau froide et recommencez.
NETTOYAGE ET DÉTARTRAGE
Débranchez toujours l'appareil et attendez qu'il ait refroidi avant de le nettoyer.
Essuyez les surfaces externes avec un chiffon humide. Séchez bien. Ne
mettez jamais la bouilloire dans l’eau.
Sortez le filtre à mailles du bec verseur. Lavez-le sous le robinet, puis
remettez-le en place.
Lavez les tasses et les cuillères sous le robinet.
N'utilisez pas des produits de nettoyage chimiques ou abrasifs.
La bouilloire doit être régulièrement détartrée au moyen d'un produit détartrant
spécifique.
Essuyez l'intérieur de la bouilloire avec un chiffon propre.

Het de oppervlakte van het warmte-element

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORZORGEN
• De waterkoker is uitgerust met een tweevoudige spanningsschakelaar op
de onderzijde van de waterkoker. Controleer voordat u de waterkoker
inschakelt altijd of de correcte spanning is geselecteerd.
• Wees voorzichtig als u meteen nadat het water kookt het deksel opent.
De stoom die uit de waterkoker ontsnapt is uiterst heet en houdt een gevaar
van brandwonden in.
• Gebruik de waterkoker niet voor het opwarmen van andere zaken dan water.
Vul de waterkoker nooit voorbij de markering van het maximumpeil.

WERKING
Was de lepels en koppen af voordat u het apparaat de eerste keer gebruikt.
Het is raadzaam voor de eerste ingebruikname de waterkoker 2 tot 3 keer te
gebruiken volgens de onderstaande instructies. Dit zal alle stof en
fabricageresten verwijderen.
1. Neem de koppen en lepels uit de waterkoker.
2. Selecteer de correcte spanning door de spanningsschakelaar op de
onderzijde van de waterkoker in de juiste stand te zetten.
220V-240V 110V-120V
Deze waterkoker kan werken op twee verschillende spanningen.
• Selecteer de stand 220V-240V voor gebruik in het grootste gedeelte van
de wereld zoals Groot-Brittannië, Europa, China, Afrika en Australië.
• Selecteer de stand 110V-120V voor gebruik in landen zoals Amerika,
Japan, Taiwan, Canada en Mexico.
3. Zet de waterkoker neer op een droge, vlakke en stabiele ondergrond.
4. Vul de waterkoker via de tuit of het geopende deksel met de gewenste
hoeveelheid koud water.
• Vul de waterkoker niet tot voorbij het MAX-pijl om overkoken te voorkomen.
5. Druk het deksel neer tot u een klikgeluid hoort.
6. Stop de stekker van de waterkoker in een stopcontact.
7. Druk op de aan/uitschakelaar. Het water warmt nu op.
• Het stroomlampje brandt.
• OPMERKING: gebruik de waterkoker alleen met gesloten deksel en als de
filter is ingezet.
8. De waterkoker schakelt automatisch uit als het water kookt.
• De stroomindicator dooft.
• U kunt het kookproces ook eerder stoppen door de aan/uitschakelaar naar
de stand “O” te schakelen.

9. U kunt warme dranken maken met behulp van de meegeleverde koppen
en lepels. Giet het kokende water voorzichtig in de koppen.
Stroomonderbreking als bescherming tegen
droogkoken
Als u de waterkoker zonder water laat werken, zal de waterketel automatisch
stoppen met verwarmen en uitschakelen.
In dit geval moet u de waterkoker laten afkoelen voordat u hem met koud
water vult en weer laat koken.
REINIGEN EN ONTKALKEN
Haal voor het schoonmaken altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het
apparaat afkoelen.
Reinig de buitenkant van de waterkoker met een vochtige doek. Droog
zorgvuldig. Dompel de waterkoker nooit onder in water.
Verwijder de netfilter uit de tuit. Reinig deze onder stromend water en zet
terug in.
Reinig de lepels en koppen onder stromend water.
Gebruik geen schurende of chemische reinigingsmiddelen.
Ontkalk de waterkoker regelmatig met een speciaal daartoe bestemde
ontkalker.
Veeg de binnenkant van de waterkoker schoon met een schone doek.

INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES SOBRE
SEGURIDAD
• El hervidor tiene un selector de voltaje dual en la parte inferior del hervidor.
Compruebe siempre que haya seleccionado el voltaje correcto antes de
utilizar este hervidor.
• Si decide abrir la tapa inmediatamente después de hervir el agua, tenga
mucho cuidado porque el vapor desprendido está muy caliente y podría
provocar quemaduras.
• No utilice el hervidor de agua para calentar un líquido que no sea agua.
No llene el hervidor por encima de la señal de nivel máximo.

FUNCIONAMIENTO
Antes de utilizarlo por primera vez, lave las cucharas y las tazas.
Se recomienda poner en funcionamiento el hervidor durante 2 ó 3 ciclos
conforme a las siguientes instrucciones. De este modo, se eliminará el polvo
y cualquier residuo acumulado del proceso de fabricación.
1. Retire las tazas y cucharas del hervidor.
2. Seleccione el voltaje correcto girando el selector en la parte inferior del
hervidor.
220V-240V 110V-120V
Este hervidor puede funcionar con dos voltajes.
• Seleccione el voltaje 220V-240V para utilizarlo en la vasta mayoría del
mundo, como Gran Bretaña, Europa, China, África y Australia.
• Seleccione el voltaje 110V-120V para utilizarlo en países y regiones
como América, Japón, Taiwán, Canadá y México.
3. Coloque el hervidor sobre una superficie seca, lisa y estable.
4. Llene el hervidor con la cantidad deseada de agua caliente a través del
pico o de la tapa abierta.
• No llene en exceso el hervidor rebasando el nivel Max.
5. Cierre la tapa empujándola hasta escuchar como encaja en su lugar.
6. Enchufe el hervidor a la toma de alimentación eléctrica.
7. Pulse el interruptor eléctrico. El agua comienza a calentarse.
• El piloto indicador de conexión se iluminará.
• NOTA: Utilice el hervidor solo con la tapa cerrada y el filtro correctamente
colocado.
8. El hervidor de agua se apagará automáticamente cuando el agua hierva.
• El piloto indicador de conexión se apagará.
• El proceso de ebullición se puede detener colocando el interruptor en la
posición O.
9. Puede preparar bebidas calientes utilizando las tazas y cucharas
suministradas. Vierta lentamente el agua hirviendo en las tazas.
Desconexión de Protección para hervidor seco
Si utiliza el hervidor sin agua, el hervidor dejará de calentarse y se apagará
automáticamente.
Si esto sucede, deje que el hervidor se enfríe antes de llenarlo con agua fría
y volver a hervirla.
LIMPIEZA Y DESCALCIFICACIÓN
Antes de limpiar el aparato, desenchúfelo de la toma de alimentación
eléctrica y espere hasta que se haya enfriado.
Limpie el exterior del hervidor con un paño húmedo. Séquelo minuciosamente.
Nunca sumerja el hervidor en agua.
Retire el filtro de malla del pico. Límpielo bajo el grifo de agua y vuelva a
colocarlo.
Limpie las cucharas y las tazas bajo el grifo de agua.
No utilice detergentes abrasivos ni químicos.
Descalcifique el hervidor con regularidad utilizando un producto
descalcificador específico
Limpie el interior del hervidor con un paño limpio.
