PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

• Avoid breaking the scale by striking the glass with
a sharp object or by dropping. Store your scale
horizontally; do not store it in its side. The battery
should only be replaced by adults. Do not allow
children to use the appliance unless the battery
cover is attached.

Display

The battery type used in this product is one 3V

CR2032 lithium battery. This battery is located
internally and readily accessible. Remove the
battery cover to remove the battery. The battery
must be disposed of at your local recycling point.

Replacing the battery

1.Remove the battery cover to remove

the used battery.

2.Place the battery into the battery

holder with the + face up.

• If the battery is placed incorrectly,
the product will not work.

SETTING THE MEASUREMENT UNITS

You can select the measurement unit between the Metric (g, ml) or Imperial
(lb:oz, fl’oz) system.
Press the MODE button to select the desired working mode and then press
the UNIT button to covert between the two systems.

OPERATION

1.Place the scale on a flat, stable surface.

2.Place a bowl (if used) on the center of the
weighing area of the scale.

3.Press the scale by hand and wait until the
display shows 0 before you start weighing.

• Make sure the scale is in weight mode. if not,
repleatedly press the MODE button until the
weight mode indicator appears on the
display.

4.Put ingredients to be weighed onto the center
of the weighing area of the scale or in the
bowl (not supplied).

5.The display will show the weight reading.

display shows 0.

4.Repeatedly press the MODE button until the
milk or water mode indicator appears
on the display.

5.Pour liquid into the container. The display will
show liquid volume.

6.To view the weight of the liquid, repeately
press the MODE button until the weight mode
indicator appears on the display.

Zero & Tare Functiont

To measure items as they are added, use the Zero and Tare Functions. If the
weight of the items being measured is below 4% of the scale’s capacity, the Zero
function is used. If the weight of the item exceeds 4% of the scale’s capacity, the
Tare function is used.
Capacity is 8kg, 4% = 320g

1.Place a container (not supplied) on the center of the weighing area of the
scale and press the scale by hand.

2.Place the first item in the bowl.

• The display will show the weight reading of the first item.

3.Without removing the item, press ZERO to reset the display to 0.

4.Depending on the weight of the item, you will see the Zero indicator or
the Tare indicator on the display.

5.With the first item still in place, add the next item in the container.

• The display will show the weight of that item.

6.Press ZERO to see the total weight of the two items.

7.Press ZERO again to reset the display to 0.

8.Repeat the steps above until all items have been added. Do not exceed the
maximum weight capacity of the scale.

Minus Function

If you add multiple items to the scale at one time to get a total weight, you can
identify the value of a single item by using the minus function.

1. Place items to the center of the weighing area of the scale.

• The display will show the total weight.

2. Press ZERO to reset the display to 0.

3. Remove an item.

• The display will show the weight of the removed item with the minus function
indicator .

4. Press ZERO to see the weight of any remaining items.

5. Repeat steps above as needed.

Auto Shut-Off

The scale will automatically power off when the display shows 0 or the weight
reading for about 2 minutes.

Warning messages

When the display shows “Lo”, replace the battery.
When the scale is overloaded, the display will show “Err”. Remove item to
avoid damage.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT
immerse the scale in water. Never use any
chemical or abrasive cleaning agent.
All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after
contact with fats, spices, vinegar and strongly
flavoured / coloured foods. Avoid contact with acids
citrus juices.

DISPOSAL

As a responsible retailer we care about the environment. As such
we urge you to follow the correct disposal procedure for the
appliance, packaging materials and if applicable, batteries. This
will help conserve natural resources and ensure that it is recycled
in a manner that protects health and the environment.

You must dispose of this appliance and its packaging according to local laws and
regulations.

Because this appliance contains electronic components and may contain
batteries, the appliance and its accessories must be disposed of separately from
household waste when the appliance reaches its end of life.

Contact your local authority to learn about disposal and recycling.
The appliance and if applicable, batteries should be taken to your local collection
point for recycling. Some collection points accept appliance free of charge.

• Il convient d’attirer l’attention sur les problèmes
d’environnement dus à la mise au rebut des piles
usagées de façon sure. Déposez-les dans des bacs
de collecte prévus pour cet effet (renseignez-vous
auprès de votre revendeur afin de protéger
l'environnement).

• Le pile (pile installées) ne doivent pas être exposées
à une chaleur excessive telle que celle du soleil, d'un
feu ou d'origine similaire.

• ATTENTION: Danger d'explosion si la pile n’est pas
remplacée correctement. Ne remplacer que par le
même type ou un type équivalent.

• Utiliser uniquement des piles du même type que
celles recommandées par le fabricant.

• Les piles doivent être installées en respectant la
polarité +/-.

• Les piles usagées doivent être enlevées de l'appareil.
