Pro-Ject Set “Micro-Hifi-System”
Dear music lover,
thank you for purchasing a Pro-Ject “Micro-Hifi-System”-Set. In order to achieve maximum performance and reliability you should study these instructions for use carefully.

Important notice.
Safety instructions
AC outlet voltages vary from country to country. Before connecting to the mains, make sure that the voltage in your area meets the voltage requirements printed on the power supply.
The power cord/power supply is used to disconnect the unit from the mains. Make sure that the power cord/power supply is easily accessible at all times. cord/power supply while your hands are wet or damp.

Avoid letting liquids enter the device or the power supply. Never place any item containing liquid, such as a flower vase on or near the device. Never spill any liquid on the device or the power supply. Never place any naked flame sources, such as lighted candles on or near the device. The product shall not be used in damp or wet locations, next to a bathtub, sink, swimming pool or any other similar conditions.

Connecting receiver, docking station and CD player
Connect, using the supplied interconnect cables, the sockets IN1 on the receiver to the sockets OUT on the CD Box S. The sockets OUT of the Dock Box S Fi have to be connected to the sockets IN2 on the receiver.
Take care to connect the left and right channels correctly. The right channel is usually marked red,

the left channel black or white.
Antenna input
Connects any antenna cable with a co-axial DIN-plug / US-model F-plug.
Connecting receiver and speakers
The output terminals accept loudspeaker cables terminated with 4mm Banana plugs, spades connectors or naked wire. Connect the cable terminals on the receiver to the terminals on the speakers.
The red speaker terminals carry the positive signal (+), the black speaker terminals the negative

signal (–). Make sure the polarity of the connection is correct at each end of the cables. Only connect one loudspeaker with an impedance not less than 4 ohms per channel.

Connection to a external A/D-converter
Connect the Co-axial out socket to a coaxial digital input on the D/A converter or AV processor. Doing so allows you to use the signal in its digital for further digital processing.

Make all connections whilst the Dock Box is disconnected from the power supply.
Connecting to a computer, iPod® operating system
Connect the USB-output of the Dock Box to a free USB-socket on your computer and turn it on/make sure it is powered on.
When the Dock Box is connected to a computer, all functions of the Dock Box are blocked.

Connection to a TV-set or a beamer
Connect the S-VIDEO socket to a s-video input of your TV-set or beamer.
Fitting and adjustment of the iPod® cradle
Use the knurled screw supplied to fix the cradle to the Dock Box chassis. Do not fully tighten the screw yet. Now place your iPod the screw.
Suitable for iPods® with 30-pole connector only.
Use without the cradle breaks the 30-pole connector of the Dock Box and the socket of the iPod

Before connecting the iPod

on the Dock Box contacts. Move the cradle so that it supports the iPod® and tighten

Mains power connection
Receiver Box S Connect the low voltage plug from the power supply to the Power 20V supply to the mains.
CD Box S Connect the low voltage plug from the power supply to the Power 9V supply to the mains.
Dock Box S Fi Connect the low voltage plug from the power supply to the Power 18V supply to the mains.

Never use any other power supply than the one supplied with the particular unit.
To switch on and off, loading the battery - Dock Box S Fi
The push button on the front panel turns the Dock Box on and off. The blue LED above the push button shows that the unit is switched on.
When the Dock Box is connected to the mains supply and switched on, the iPod as it is placed on the contacts. Recharging will continue even if the iPod possible, when the Dock Box is switched off.

Navigating the menu
MENU
shows the menu. Returns to the previous step in the menu
and move the curser up and down, to highlight the requested option.

selects or deselects the highlighted option. Shows the next step in the menu.

Saving a program to a particular memory position overwrites any program already stored at that position. The memory retains its contents through a power off/on cycle.
