Buddy Box Instructions

The Buddy Box allows for the use of two RV’s to plug into a single 240V/50A
RV receptacle. It is important to note that a 50A RV receptacle actually
supplies 100A o f se rvi ce; 50A per line . Yo u ca n ver i f y thi s b y no ti ng t he c ir cui t
breaker that controls the 50A receptacle. You will notice a double pole 50A
circuit breaker, supplying 120V/50A per line.

The Buddy Box splits each line to a separate RV, with a maximum current of
50A per RV, as opposed to 100A to a single RV. If an RV only requires 30A
service, simply use an adapter from 30A to 50A. Do not be alarmed by the 50A
service, as a 30A RV only uses a 30A circuit breaker, thus never exceeding 30A.

To install: 1) Make sure the 50A RV receptacle is properly wired.

2) Plug the Buddy Box into the receptacle.

3) Plug both RV’s into the Buddy Box.

Note: If the RV’s that are plugged into the Buddy Box require 50A service
(actually 100A), they are limited to 50A MAX per Buddy Box receptacle.

Progressive Industries Warranty

Progressive warrants its products free from defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of one year. This is in lieu of a ll other warranties,
obligations, and/or liabilities expressed by the company.

In the event that a properly installed Buddy Box proves defective under normal
use, Progressive will repair or replace the device at its discretion.

Progressive cannot assume re sponsibility for acts of God, alterations, s hipping/
handling, or any other factors not under the control of Progressive Industries.

Progressive has no responsibility for installation, personal injury, property
damage, inc idental, continge nt or consequen tial damages of an y kind resulting
from defects or failure of the unit to function.

The remedy for breach of this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of
the defective product at Progressive’s option. In no case shall the liability
prescribed by law exceed the purchase price. Some states do not allow
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or allow
disclaimer, modifications, or limitatio ns on how long a warra nty lasts; therefore,
the above warranties may not apply to you. This warranty gives you certain
legal rights, and you may have ot her rights, which may vary fr om state to state.
