Thank you for purchasing new PROFORM resistance rods. The resistance rods are designed to increase the amount of resistance available on the
ROFORM®A
P provide progressive resistance: as the rods begin to bend, the amount of resistance will increase gradually; as the rods bend further, the resistance will increase rapidly.
For your benefit, read this manual carefully before using the resistance rods with the exercise bench.

To add resistance to the exercise bench, insert a Resistance Rod (3) into the Spacers (A).
Secure the Resistance Rod (3) to the Bar (B) with the Pin (1) and the Cotter Pin (2).
To increase the amount of resistance, attach the sec­ond Resistance Rod (3) in the same manner.
Note: For clarity, the headrest and the ab strap are not shown in the drawing at the right.
