If an extensioncord is needed, use only a 14-gauge general-purpose cord of five feetor less in length.
If thewalking belt is overtightened,performance may be reduced
and the walking belt permanently damaged. UNPLUGTHE POWER
CORD. Using theallenwrenchincluded,turnbothrear roller
adjustmentboltscounterclockwise1/4 of a turn. When the tension
of the walking belt iscorrect, you shouldbe able to lifteach side of
the walking belt 2-3 inches;the center of thewalking beltshould
justtouchthe surfaceof the walking platform.Be sureto keep the
walking belt centered. Runthe treadmillfor a fewminutes.Repeat
untilthe tensionof the walking belt is correct. Note: Storethe allen
wrench in the handy wrench clip. Removethe backingfrom the
wrench clipand pressthe wrench clip onto one of the endcaps.

roller adjustmentboltclockwise, and the rightbolt counterclock-
wise 1/4 of a turn each. Runthe treadmillfor a few minutes.
Repeatas necessaryuntilthewalking beltis centered.
ff the walking belt has shiftedto the right, first UNPLUGTHE
POWER CORD. Using the allen wrench included, turn the left rear
roller adjustment boll counterclockwise,and the right bolt clock-
wise 1/4 of a turn each. Runthe treadmill for a few minutes.
Repeatas necessary untilthe walking belt is centered.

POWER CORD. Usingthe allenwrench included,turnboth rear
rolleradjustmentboltsclockwise 1/4 of alurn. When the tensionof

Beforeconvertingthe CROSSWALK tothe stowaway position,lurn the resistancecontrol (seethe drawing on page
7) counterclockwiseuntil thecanlrol turns freely. Next, unplugIhe power cord. RemoveIhe lockknob and washer
fromIheupright and lay the uprightand Ihe upper body armson the walking belt. Keepthe lock knob and washer in a
securelocation.
