QUICK START GUIDE
1. BATTERIES
Install two, fresh 9V alkaline batteries noting the correct polarity.
2. POWER SWITCH

3. INPUT LEVELS
Select the appropriate input level by selecting “D”, “L” or “C” on the toggle switch located next to each input XLR connector. Select “D” for use with Dynamic microphones (non­powered microphones). Select “L” for use with line level sources such as the line outputs from CD players. Select “C” for use with condenser microphones (48PH powered microphones).
4. MICROPHONE POWER
Select “48PH” microphone power or “DYN” by selecting the switch located next to each input XLR connector. Only select “48PH” when using microphones designed to operate from 48PH or 9-52PH or 9-52 simplex power. For all other uses, select “DYN”.
5. CONNECT MICROPHONES
Connect your microphones using standard XLR microphone cables.
6. LOW CUT FILTERS
For use indoors, or outdoors with no wind present, select “20”. For outdoors with light wind conditions, select “80”. For outdoors with high wind conditions, select “150”.
