larger constant current stationary or engine driven welding power
source not having a contactor.

Warranty
LIMITED WARRANTY - Subject to the terms and conditions hereof, PROFAX, Pearland, Texas warrants its control boxes to be
free from defect in workmanship and material at the time of delivery by PROFAX.
PROFAX will honor warranty claims on this equipment as a result of failure from a defect for a period of one year from date of
sale to the original user.
Upon the return of this unit at users expense, PROFAX reserves the right to either repair or replace as necessary.
This is the only warranty either expressed or implied covering this unit.
CAUTION
Shut off engine and/or disconnect all electrical
power to the welding power source before
installing this control unit. Electrocution
may maim or kill.
To install:
1. Remove top cover from control unit.
2. Install the multi-conductor cord from the AEC 200 Welding Gun through the access hole in
the front panel of the control box and connect the numbered wires to the corresponding
numbers on the 8 pole terminal strip TS1.
3. Connect the 115V power cord from the control box to a 115V AC or DC power source.
4. Connect a welding cable (1/0 or 2/0) from the positive output terminal on the power source
to the "Electrode" terminal on the control box.
5. Connect the small black sensor lead from the control box to the negative output terminal on
the power source. (Same terminal the work lead is connected to)
6. Connect the power cable of the AEC 200 Welding Gun to the "Gun" terminal on the
control box.
7. Ensure all connections are correct.
8. Replace top cover and tighten screws.
9. Ensure that power source is set for DC reverse polarity (electrode +) see warning.

DC REVERSE POLARITY (ELECTRODE +) ONLY
Unit will FAIL to operate if proper polarity is not observed when connecting to power source. Due to the design of the magnetic
blowout, welding current polarity must be properly connected or permanent damage to contactor contacts and PC board may
result. See installation diagram for proper cable connections.
