Basic Operations/The Home Screen at a Glance
Cha rging t he Tab le t

To cha rge the tab let, pl ug in the AC ada pte r to a co nvenien t out let, th en plug in th e tab let t o the AC adapt er. If th e table t is on, th e batte ry icon wil l pul se, sho win g tha t it is bei ng charge d. If i s ful ly char ged when an ico n of a full bat ter y is di splayed o n the s creen .

Connecting t o a Computer for F ile Transfer
The included U SB cable can be us ed to connect th e tablet to any PC c omputer, for the purpose of transfe rring music, pictu re and other dat a files betwee n the two units.
Power On the tab let
Upon pressin g the Power butt on for about 3 sec onds to start the tabl et, there will b e a series of scre ens, and then you will see thi s locked Start -up screen:
Press and hold your finger on the lock icon, and t wo options wil l appear. Drag it to the right, so that the c ircle clicks onto t he unlock icon. The tablet will be unlocked, and will proc eed to the Home screen. Drag it to th e left to go directl y to the Camera app. If you do nothin g, the tablet will r eturn to Standby mode.

The Home Screen at a Glance

The Launcher Tab is a conven ient way to access all of the appli cations (App s). After tapping th e icon, the scre en will open to th e Launcher Tab page. At the top, will f ind options to s ee all Apps (applic ations) or wid gets.
Apps
Tapping on any applicat ion icon in the La uncher screen will ac tivate the app lication. If y ou would like to add the ap plication to t he Home screen , simply press a nd hold the app ic on, and you
will return to t he Home screen w ith the select ed icon still und er-finger. You can move the ap­plication to a ny available l ocation on the m ain screen. Rele ase the applic ation icon to pl ace it in the screen , add it to anothe r applicatio n in a separate sub -window,or onto the top of the screen onto th e text “App info ”, where you wil l find detailed inf ormation on th at applicati on.
Widgets
Widgets are mi ni Apps that run on the H ome screen. The ta blet comes with several by defau lt, including a ca lendar and a clo ck, and more can be downloade d.

This is the icon f or the Google Pl ay store, wher e purchase and d ownload Apps and wid gets will be able for use on t he tablet.

Some applica tions have bee n installed on t he tablet to help g et started. (I t is recommend ed that a Google Gm ail account, a s many of these Apps use Goo gle services.) These Apps may include:
