Descrizione
I diffusori CS5TAL/CS6TAL, progettati per essere installati a incasso, sono
dotati rispettivamente di un woofer da 5,5” e 6,5”. La struttura portante è in
acciaio e presentano una copertura in alluminio; tali caratteristiche
consentono l’utilizzo in ambienti dove è necessario attenersi alle normative
antincendio specifiche.

non esporre questo apparecchio a pioggia e umidità
• Prima di procedere con l’installazione, leggere attentamente le istruzioni
contenute nel presente manuale e conservarlo per una consultazione successiva.
• Attenzione: l’installazione errata potrebbe danneggiare irrimediabilmente
l’apparecchiatura.
• PROEL raccomanda di installare i diffusori tenendo conto delle normative di
sicurezza vigenti.
• L’uso del dispositivo al di fuori delle specifiche tecniche potrebbe causare una
diminuzione delle prestazioni.
• In presenza di bambini, controllare che il prodotto non rappresenti un peric olo.
• Posizionare il prodotto al riparo dagli agenti atmosferici e a distanza di sicurezz a
dall’acqua e da luoghi ad alto grado di umidità.
• Evitare che qualsiasi sostanza liquida penetri all’interno del prodotto.
• Assicurarsi che il dispositivo sia in posizione stabile.
• Per la pulizia delle parti esterne non utilizzare diluenti, alcol, benzina o altre
sostanze volatili.
• Evitare di riparare il dispositivo. Per qualsiasi tipo di intervento, rivolgersi al
personale qualificato.
• Si consiglia di non utilizzare il diffusore a livelli di suono elevati per l unghi periodi
di tempo, in quanto la pressione sonora generata potrebbe provocare danni
permanenti all’udito.
Installazione
1. Forare il pannello del soffitto, nel punto dove andrà posizionato il CS,
utilizzando come misura il disco di cartone ricavabile dall’ala della
confezione.
2. Comprimere le alette laterali “molleggianti” e inserire il supporto circolare
nel foro praticato in precedenza. Rilasciare le alette, che sorreggeranno
saldamente il tutto.
3. Far passare i cavi di collegamento all’interno della protezione antifuoco,
utilizzando gli appositi fori provvisti di guarnizione. Attraverso una
pressione verticale, inserire la protezione antifuoco all’interno del supporto
circolare.

4. Variando la posizione del collegamento sul trasformatore (in
corrispondenza delle impedenze 416 Ω - 816 Ω - 1,66 K - 3,3 K - 6,6 K per
il CS5TAL e 250 Ω - 490 Ω - 1 KΩ - 2 KΩ - 4KΩ per il CS6TAL), è possibile
selezionare la potenza in uscita del dispositivo.
Per effettuare tale collegamento fare riferimento allo schema seguente:

5. Collegare i terminali della linea audio al morsetto ceramico, rispettando la
polarità. Ultimare l’installazione inserendo il diffusore nell’anello di supporto
e ruotarlo verso destra per un sicuro ancoraggio.

Description
The CS5TAL/CS6TAL speakers are designed for a recessed mounting. They
feature a 5,5” and a 6,5” woofer respectively. Steel frame with an aluminium
coating: these features permit use in places which must comply with specific
fire regulations.

• Before installing the unit, read carefully these instructions and keep them for

• Warning: an incorrect installation might result in an irreparable damage to the
unit.
• Installation should be carried out in compliance with the relevant safety
regulations.
• The use of this unit without following the technical specifications may cause the
performance to be impaired.
• Close supervision is necessary when the unit is used near children.
• Protect this unit from atmospheric agents and do not use it near water or in
places with high humidity levels.
• Care should be taken so that objects do not fall into and liquids are not spilled
inside the unit.
• Make sure the unit is placed in a stable and safe position.
• Do not use solvents, alcohol, petrol or other volatile substances to clean the outer
components.
• Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified
personnel.
• This product generates a sound pressure level that may cause permanent
damages to the hearing. Do not use the loudspeaker at high volume levels for a
long period of time.
Installation
1. A hole should be made in the ceiling panel, in the place where the
speaker is to be installed. Use the cardboard disk found on the box as
template for the hole.
2. Press in the side spring wings and put the round support in the hole
made previously, then release the spring wings, which will firmly
support the whole apparatus.
3. Pass the connecting cables inside the fire protection by using the
special holes equipped with gaskets. Place the fire protection inside the
round support by pressing downwards.

4. By changing the connection on the transformer (in correspondence to
the impedances 416 Ω - 816 Ω - 1,66 K - 3,3 K - 6,6 K for the CS5TAL,
and 250 Ω - 490 Ω - 1 KΩ - 2 KΩ - 4KΩ for the CS6TAL), it is possible
to select the output power of the unit. For such connection, refer to the
following table:

5. Connect the audio line terminal cables to the ceramic terminal clamp,
paying attention to the polarity. Finish the installation placing the
speaker in the support ring and rotating it to the right for a firm and
secure mounting.
