DICORA S15 – The unified rail dispatcher terminal
FREQUENTIS Dispatcher Terminals – efficient terminals tailored to your needs
The DICORA S15 is the high end dispatcher terminal of the Frequentis Fixed Terminal Solution FTS 3020. It is a compact desktop solution tailored for control and command centres in the rail environment.
Representing a unified dispatcher terminal the DICORA S15 can be used for:
> GSM-R voice and data applications > communication with analogue train and shunting radio, public address systems as well as emergency
> simplified train monitoring > simplified station management (control of lights, doors, escalators etc.)
Compliance to the latest technology standards
The DICORA S15 terminal supports all network technologies - the proven circuit-switched as well as the packet-based IP technology. It is equipped with both, an ISDN as well as an Ethernet Interface, fully complying with:
> the EIRENE and MORANE standards of the GSM-R world > the ISDN standards for Basic Rate Access and rail relevant supplementary services > the state of the art security and Quality of Service standards in a LAN/WAN
Ease of use
The combination of a flexible Graphical User Interface and a 12,1” LCD touch panel is providing quick and easy access
> to standard and rail specific telephony functions, phonebooks and text messages > to a broad range of communication targets, each by context sensitive selection or direct input
Multiple configurable function lists of recently used numbers or virtual keyboards offering additional assistance to the user.
High Reliability, Low Noise Industrial Hardware Components
The use of high-reliability industrial components gives low power consumption and a silent, fan less platform. The combination of this platform with the professional touch entry screen has clear advantages over a conventional PC design.
Hardware Modularity
The DICORA S15 consists of two modules:
> Operating Console > Audio Module
The modules can be freely arranged to suit the specific needs of the working environment and the controller.
