Built-in Call Station, Compact and as Separate Components
Brief Description of Built-in Call Station (PMS-01):
The setup for the call station both as built-in model and as separate components
is modular.
The built-in call station consists of the following components:
- PMS-01 Call station electronics with built-in gooseneck microphone
- PMS-01 E Call station electronics with built-in electret microphone
- PMK-16 Keypad with 16 illuminated buttons in built-in housing
- PMK-16 WF Keypad with 16 buttons in built-in housing (IP65)
Optional:
- PML-01 Loudspeaker in an additional slide-in housing instead of
- PMM-01Gooseneck microphone with installation flange instead of
The following components are required for the call station as separate
components:
- PMS-02 Call station electronics with 25 W booster amplifier with
- PMK-16 Keypad with 16 illuminated buttons in built-in housing
- PMK-16 WF Keypad with 16 buttons in built-in housing (IP65)
- PML-01 Loudspeaker in an additional slide-in housing instead of
- PMM-01Gooseneck microphone with installation flange instead of
The built-in call stations PMS-01 (with gooseneck microphone) and PMS-01 E
(with built-in microphone) are compact and designed for installation in e.g. desk
panels. The loudspeaker is integrated in these call stations. As option the
loudspeaker and the microphone can be connected separately.
The PMS-02 is the main component of the call station as separate components
and consists of the call station electronics including 25 W booster amplifier.
Loudspeaker and microphone are connected externally (separately).
Up to 7 keypads (PMK-16, PMK-16 WF) can be attached to the PMS call stations.

Optionally the microphone PMM-01 and/or the loudspeaker PML-01 can be
connected as separate components instead of the built-in microphone and/or
loudspeaker of the PMS-01.

A four-wire connection between call station electronics and the 4NSA in the
DVS-21 system are required to operate a PMS-01 and PMS-01 E. The built-in
call station is complete after at least one keypad has been built in.
To operate a PMS-02 a 6-wire connection to the LF interface module 4NSA
must be established so that the integrated booster amplifier can run. The call
station as separate components is completed by connecting at least one
keypad, one loudspeaker and one microphone.
Both models can be configured with the help of the system software ICS.

Voice transmission between the call station and DVS-21 is analogue.
Control and data transmission is handled by a microcontroller. Transmission is
carried out with a modem connection.
Busy signals, voice acknowledgments and call signals are indicated on the
keypads through LEDs. The display and blink behaviour of the LEDs can be
programmed with the system software ICS of the DVS-21.
