De PRINCESS CLASSIC TABLE FAN is een solide metalen tafelventilator in fraaie klassieke vormge­ving, voorzien van een 25 cm ventilatorblad, een apart schakelbaar zwenkmechanisme en een kantelbare
voet. De krachtige, geruisloze inductiemotor kan op 3 verschillende snelheden ingeschakeld worden.

Pak de ventilator voorzichtig uit en plaats deze op een stevig oppervlak. Sluit hem alleen op een geaard
stopcontact aan. Controleer de netspanning, deze dient 230V te zijn. De PRINCESS CLASSIC TABLE
FAN is niet geschikt voor gebruik in vochtige ruimtes zoals badkamers, en ook niet voor gebruik in de
open lucht.

BESCHRIJVING

Aan-/uit- en snelheidsschakelaar (2)

Schakelt de motor aan/uit en geeft de keuze uit 3 snelheden.

Knop voor automatisch zwenken aan/uit (4)

Omhoog trekken: automatisch zwenken inschakelen.
Omlaag drukken: zwenken weer uitschakelen.

Vastzetschroef voor kantelinstelling (3)

De blaasrichting kan hiermee verticaal ingesteld worden in de gewenste hoek. Draai de schroef met de
hand een paar slagen los en stel de gewenste hoek in door de ventilator omhoog of omlaag te kantelen.
Draai daarna de schroef met de hand weer stevig vast.

MONTAGE

1. Plaats de achterste beschermkap over de motoras en let daarbij op dat de schroefjes juist zitten voordat
u de kap vastmaakt met de borgmoer.

2. Breng het ventilatorblad op dezelfde hoogte als het vlakke gedeelte van de motoras en maak het
vast door de schroef stevig vast te draaien. De schroef moet staan tussen de motorbehuizing en het
ventilatorblad.

3. Plaats met de hulp van iemand anders de voorste beschermkap tegen de achterste kap en duw de
bevestigingsklemmen op hun plaats zodat beide beschermkappen samengevoegd worden en de schroef
aan de onderkant zit. Schroef en moer vastdraaien.

SCHOONMAKEN

HAAL EERST DE STEKKER UIT HET STOPCONTACT.
De ventilator kan af en toe met een vochtige doek afgenomen worden. Gebruik nooit schu­rende en/of agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen, dus geen schuurpoeder en ook geen schuur­sponsjes.

DOMPEL DE VENTILATOR NOOIT ONDER IN WATER OF EEN ANDERE
VLOEISTOF.

PRINCESS-TIPS

- Deze ventilator is alleen voor huishoudelijk gebruik.

- Zorg dat het snoer of een eventueel verlengsnoer zodanig weggelegd wordt dat niemand erover kan
struikelen.

- Bij beschadiging van de ventilator of het snoer raden wij u aan het apparaat niet meer te gebruiken
maar naar de winkel terug te brengen voor reparatie. Een beschadigd snoer kan alleen door de
servicedienst vervangen worden.

- Niet buitenshuis gebruiken.

- Zorg dat kinderen er niet bij kunnen.

- Plaats de ventilator op een stevige tafel of kast of ander stabiel oppervlak. Zet de ventilator niet in of
vlakbij een open raam. Zorg dat voorwerpen uit de omgeving van de ventilator verwijderd zijn als het
automatisch zwenken ingeschakeld wordt om omvallen en/of blokkeren te voorkomen.

- Gebruik de ventilator niet in vochtige ruimtes, zoals badkamers, en plaats deze ook niet dichtbij een
wastafel of andere bak met water.

- Zorg dat gordijnen en andere voorwerpen van stof niet in de ventilator gezogen kunnen worden.

The PRINCESS CLASSIC TABLE FAN is a solid metal table fan in an attractive classical design. It is
fitted with a 25 cm fan blade, an independently adjustable swivelling mechanism and tilting foot. The
powerful, silent induction motor can be set to 3 different speeds.

Pick up the fan carefully and place it on a solid surface. Plug this appliance only into an earthed outlet.
Check the mains voltage which should be 230 V. The PRINCESS CLASIC TABLE FAN is not suitable
for use in damp rooms such as bathrooms and it is also not suitable for use outside.

DESCRIPTION

On/off and Speed switch (2)

Switches the motor on/off and allows a choice of 3 speeds to be made.

Button for automatic swivelling on/off (4)

Pull up: automatic swivelling is switched on.
Press down: switches swivelling off.

Adjustable screw for setting tilt angle (3)

This allows the direction that the fan blows to be set at the desired angle. Loosen the screw a couple of
turns by hand and tilt the fan up or down as desired. Then retighten the screw firmly by hand.

ASSEMBLY

1. Position the rear guard over the motor shaft, ensuring that the notches are correclty alig­ned and then secure with the locking nut.

2. Align the fan blade with the flat part on the motor shaft, locate fully and secure by tigh­tening the fan blade screw fully. The screw should be positioned between the motor hou­sing and the blade.

3. With the help of another person, position the front guard against the rear guard and press the clips so
that it holds both grills together and the screw is at the bottom. Secure by tightening screw and nut.

CLEANING

FIRST UNPLUG THE CORD FROM THE SOCKET
The fan can be wiped with a damp cloth now and then. Never use abrasive or aggressive detergents, thus
no scouring powder and no scouring sponges either.

NEVER IMMERSE THE FAN IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUID.

PRINCESS TIPS

- This fan is intended for normal household use only.

- Make sure the cord or extension cord is carefully positioned to avoid people tripping over it.

- If the fan or cord is damaged, we advise you not to use the appliance and to take it to the shop for
repair. Damaged cords may only be replaced by the service department.

- Not to be used outdoors.

- Make sure that the fan is out of the reach of children.

- Place the fan on a solid table or other stable surface. Do not place the fan in or nearby an open window.
Make sure that there are no objects near the fan which could be knocked over or be in the way when
automatic swivelling is switched on.

- Do not use the fan in damp rooms such as bathrooms and do not place it near a sink or other receptacle
full of water.

- Make sure that curtains and other fabrics cannot be sucked into the fan.

U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE = neutral, BROWN = LIVE, GREEN-YELLOW = EARTH

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour mar­kings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or
coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L
or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN-YELLOW must be connected to the earth terminal which is marked
with the letter E or or coloured green and yellow.
With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 13 amp fuse should be fitted. If any other type of plug is
used a 15 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or at the distribution board.

Le PRINCESS CLASSIC TABLE FAN est un ventilateur métallique de table, solide au design classique
et élégant équipé d’une hélice de 25 cm, avec un mécanisme d’oscillation réglable séparément et un pied
pivotant. Le puissant moteur à induction silencieux peut être réglé sur trois vitesses différentes.

Déballer le ventilateur avec précaution et le poser sur une surface solide. Raccorder uniquement à une
prise de terre. S’assurer que la tension du secteur est de 230 volts. Le PRINCESS CLASSIC TABLE FAN
ne convient pas pour être utilisé dans des pièces humides telles que des salles de bains et il
ne doit pas être utilisé en plein air.

DESCRIPTION

Interrupteur marche/arrêt (2)

Permet d’allumer et d’éteindre le moteur et de régler la vitesse.

Interrupteur du mécanisme d’oscillation automatique (4)

En haut : active le mécanisme d’oscillation automatique.
En bas : désactive le mécanisme d’oscillation.

Vis de réglage de l’orientation (3)

Cette vis permet de régler verticalement la direction dans laquelle l’air est soufflé. Dévisser la vis de
quelques tours à la main et régler la direction en basculant le ventilateur vers le haut ou le bas. Revisser
ensuite la vis à fond à la main.

ASSEMBLAGE

1. Installer la protection arrière sur l’axe du moteur en veillant à ce que les petites vis soient bien alignées

avant de la fixer à l’aide de l’écrou de blocage.

2. Aligner l’hélice sur la hauteur de la partie plate de l’axe du moteur, l’ajuster puis la fixer en tournant la

vis de l’hélice à fond. La vis doit alors se trouver entre le logement du moteur et l’hélice.

3. Avec l’aide d’une autre personne, amener la protection avant contre la protection arrière et appuyer sur

les fixations jusqu’à ce que les deux capots de protection s’emboîtent l’un dans l’autre et que la vis se
trouve en dessous. Serrer la vis et l’écrou.

ENTRETIEN

DEBRANCHER D'ABORD L'APPAREIL DE LA PRISE DE COURANT.
Nettoyer le ventilateur de temps en temps avec un chiffon humide. N’utiliser jamais de produits
nettoyants abrasifs ou corrosifs, donc pas de poudre à récurer ni de tampon à récurer.

NE JAMAIS PLONGER LE VENTILATEUR DANS L’EAU NI DANS TOUT AUTRE LIQUIDE.

CONSEILS DE PRINCESS

- Ce ventilateur est uniquement destiné à un usage domestique.

- S'assurer que le cordon ou une rallonge éventuelle sont placés de sorte à ne pas pouvoir se prendre les

pieds dedans.

- Si le ventilateur ou le cordon sont endommagés, ne plus utiliser le ventilateur, mais le rapporter au

magasin pour le faire réparer. Le remplacement du cordon ne peut être effectué que par le service
après-vente.

- Ne pas utiliser en plein air.

- Tenir les enfants à distance du ventilateur.

- Poser le ventilateur sur une table ou une armoire solide et stable. Ne pas placer le ventilateur devant

ou près d’une fenêtre ouverte. Veiller à éloigner tout objet de la proximité du ventilateur lorsque le
mécanisme d’orientation oscillant automatique est activé afin d’éviter qu’il ne tombe ou ne se coince
dans l’appareil.

- Ne pas utiliser le ventilateur dans les pièces humides telles que salles de bains et ne pas non plus le

poser à proximité d’un lavabo ou autre récipient rempli d’eau.

- Veiller à ce que le ventilateur ne puisse pas aspirer des rideaux ou des vêtements.
