VOOR GEBRUIK

Lees deze instructies voordat u dit apparaat gaat gebruiken. Bewaar deze om ze later nog eens te kunnen
raadplegen. Controleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met die van het apparaat. Gebruik geen elektrische
apparaten in de badkamer of in de buurt van een wastafel gevuld met water. Wanneer een elektrisch apparaat
per ongeluk in het water terechtkomt, haal dan eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het uit het
water haalt. Droog uw handen voordat u het apparaat gebruikt.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

Trek altijd eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt. Laat het afkoelen
voordat u begint met schoonmaken.
Gebruik een zachte, vochtige doek om de buitenzijde van de krulborstel of krultang schoon te maken.
Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of een andere vloeistof.

BELANGRIJKE AANBEVELINGEN

- Wanneer u krulspelden in uw haar hebt, wees dan voorzichting met uitstekende haarspelden. Zorg
ervoor dat ze niet door de ventilatiegaatjes of luchtopeningen van de krulborstel of krultang steken.

- Gebruik geen spuitbussen in de buurt van de krulborstel of krultang wanneer deze ingeschakeld zijn.

- Wikkel het snoer niet strak rond de krulborstel of krultang omdat dit het snoer kan beschadigen.

- Gebruik uitsluitend de originele hulpstukken.

- Laat de krulborstel of krultang afkoelen voordat u hem opbergt.

- Wanneer de krulborstel of krultang ingeschakeld of nog warm is, mag deze niet op een zachte onder­grond zoals een bed of een kussen worden gelegd omdat het apparaat hierdoor oververhit kan raken.

- Leg kinderen de mogelijke gevaren van elektrische apparaten en de richtlijnen voor het gebruik ervan uit.

- Laat jonge kinderen nooit zonder toezicht elektrische apparaten gebruiken.

- Reparaties en onderhoud mogen alleen door onze servicedienst worden uitgevoerd. Gebruik het apparaat
niet als het apparaat of het snoer beschadigd is. Stuur het in dit geval op naar onze servicedienst. Een
beschadigd snoer van dit type apparaat mag alleen door de servicedienst worden vervangen.

- De krulborstel of krultang is alleen bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik.

- Zorg ervoor dat kinderen niet met dit apparaat spelen.

- Het is niet zonder gevaar om dit apparaat te laten gebruiken door kinderen of personen met een
geestelijke of lichamelijke handicap, of met te weinig ervaring of deskundigheid. De voor de veiligheid
van deze gebruikers verantwoordelijke persoon dient ze duidelijke instructies te geven voor of hen te
begeleiden bij het gebruik van dit apparaat.

GEBRUIKSTIPS

1. Krulborstel

Laat de krulborstel ongeveer 5 minuten opwarmen. De ronde stylingborstel is ideaal voor het krullen van
het haar. Het kan op zowel droog als vochtig haar worden gebruikt. Plaats de borstel op de punten van het
haar en rol de borstel naar buiten of naar binnen naar de wortel. Wacht 15-30 seconden afhankelijk van de
hoeveelheid en het type haar, druk op de borstelontgrendelingsknop en verwijder de borstel. Laat het haar
afkoelen voordat u het uitborstelt.

2. Krultang

Laat de krultang ongeveer 5 minuten opwarmen. Met deze tang kunnen prachtige krullen
worden gemaakt. Neem een pluk haar en plaats het tussen de buis en de klem. Schuif de
tang naar de punten van het haar en krul het haar in de gewenste richting. Houd de tang
ongeveer 15 seconden vast. Ontgrendel de krultang door licht op de knop te drukken. Maak
de krul iets los en verwijder de tang voorzichtig van de krul. Laat het haar afkoelen voordat
u het uitkamt.

BEFORE USE

Read these instructions before use and keep them for future reference. Check whether the mains voltage
corresponds to that of the appliance. Do not use an electrical appliance in the bathroom or near a washbasin
filled with water. If an electrical appliance accidentally falls into the water, always unplug it before trying
to remove it. Dry your hands before operating the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Let it cool down before cleaning.
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the outside of the curling brush or curling tongs. Never immerse the
appliance in water or any other liquid.

IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATIONS

- If you have rollers in your hair, watch out for any hairpins or hairgrips that are sticking out. Make sure
they do not poke through the ventilation holes or air vents in the curling brush or curling tongs.

- Do not use any aerosols near the curling brush or curling tongs when they are switched on.

- Do not wind the cord tightly around the curling brush or curling tongs as this may damage the cord.

- Only use the original accessories.

- Let the curling brush or curling tongs cool down before putting them away.

- When the curling brush or curling tongs are switched on or still hot, they must not be placed on a soft
surface like a bed or pillow as this may cause them to overheat.

- Explain to children the potential dangers of electrical appliances and the guidelines for using them.

- Do not let young children use electrical appliances without supervision.

- Repairs and servicing must be carried out by our service department. Do not use the appliance if it is
damaged or if the cord is damaged. Send it to our service department. With this type of appliance, a
damaged cord must only be replaced by the service department.

- The curling brush or curling tongs are intended for domestic use only.

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

- The use of this appliance by children or persons with a physical, sensory, mental or motorial disability,
or lack of experience and knowledge can give cause to hazards. Persons responsible for their safety
should give explicit instructions or supervise the use of the appliance.

TIPS FOR USE

1. Curling brush

Let the curling brush heat up for about 5 minutes. The round styling brush is ideal for making curls in hair.
It can be used on both dry hair and damp hair. Place the brush at the ends of the hair and roll it outwards
or inwards up to the roots. Wait for 15-30 seconds, depending on the amount of hair and the type of hair,
press the brush releasing button, and then remove the brush. Let the hair cool down before brushing it out.

2. Curling tongs

Let the curling tongs heat up for about 5 minutes. Beautiful curls can be created with these tongs. Take a
lock of hair and place it between the tube and the clamp. Slide the tongs down to the ends of the hair and
curl the hair in the desired direction. Hold for around 15 seconds. Release the curling tongs by pressing
the button gently. Loosen the curl slightly and carefully remove the tongs from the curl.
Let the hair cool down before combing it out.

U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the
colour markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:

The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter N or coloured black.

The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.

If a 13Amp (BS1363) plug is used, a 3Amp (BS1362) fuse must be fitted, or if any other type of plug is
used, a 13Amp fuse must be fitted, either in the plug or adaptor, or on the Distribution Board.
THIS IS A DOUBLE INSULATED APPLIANCE AND DOES NOT NEED AN EARTH CONNECTION

AVANT L’EMPLOI

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

Débranchez toujours l’appareil avant de le nettoyer. Laissez-le refroidir avant de le nettoyer.
Utilisez un chiffon doux et humide pour nettoyer la partie extérieure de la brosse coiffante ou du fer à
friser. Ne jamais immerger l’appareil dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.

RECOMMANDATIONS IMPORTANTES

- Si vous avez des rouleaux dans les cheveux, attention aux épingles ou barrettes qui pourraient dépasser.
Veillez à ce qu'elles ne passent pas dans les trous d'aération ou les grilles d’arrivée d’air de la brosse
coiffante ou du fer à friser.

- Ne pas utiliser d’aérosol à proximité de la brosse coiffante/du fer à friser allumé.

- Ne pas enrouler le cordon trop serré autour de la brosse coiffante/du fer à friser car cela pourrait
l’endommager.

- Utiliser uniquement les accessoires d’origine fournis avec l’appareil.

- Laisser refroidir la brosse coiffante/le fer à friser avant de le ranger.

- Ne pas poser la brosse coiffante/le fer à friser encore chaud sur une surface souple telle qu’un lit ou un
oreiller car cela risquerait de provoquer la surchauffe de l’appareil.

- Expliquer aux enfants les dangers potentiels liés aux appareils électriques et les précautions à observer
lors de leur utilisation.

- Ne pas laisser des enfants en bas âge utiliser des appareils électriques sans surveillance.

- Les réparations et l’entretien doivent être effectués par notre service après-vente. Ne pas utiliser
l’appareil si lui-même ou son cordon est endommagé. L'envoyer à notre service après-vente pour le
faire réparer. Sur ce type d’appareils, si le cordon est endommagé il ne peut être remplacé que par le
service après-vente.

- La brosse coiffante/ le fer à friser sont uniquement destinés à un usage domestique.

- Veillez à ce que les enfants ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.

- L’utilisation de cet appareil par des enfants ou des personnes handicapées physiques, mentales ou moteur,
ou des personnes disposant de connaissances ou d’expérience insuffisantes peut être dangereuse. Les
