Lees deze gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door voordat het product wordt gebruikt en bewaar deze om hem later te kunnen inzien. Gebruik de Princess Straightener nooit in de badkamer of bij een met water gevulde wastafel. Probeer nooit het apparaat dat in het water is gevallen op te pakken, maar trek eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact. Gebruik de straightener alleen met droge handen. Uitgerust met nano-silver en tourmaline verwarmingsplaten, kan de straightener niet alleen worden gebruikt voor het ontkrullen van haar, maar is hij ook zeer geschikt om steil haar meer veerkracht en volume te geven door er krullen en slagen in aan te brengen. De Straightener is ook uitgerust met een extra-lang draaibaar snoer, LCD-scherm, aan/uit-schakelaar en "+" en "-" -temperatuurknop.

GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING

Steek de stekker in het stopcontact. Druk op de aan/uit-schakelaar om het apparaat in te schakelen. Het LCD-scherm licht op en geeft de ingestelde temperatuur aan. De standaardinstelling is 170°. Druk op de temperatuurtoetsen ("+" of "-") om de door u gewenste temperatuur in te stellen. Druk kort op de temperatuurtoetsen om de temperatuur in stappen van 10° te verlagen of te verhogen. Als de temperatuur is ingesteld, zal deze ingestelde temperatuur op het LCD-scherm knipperen. Als de verwarmingsplaten de gewenste temperatuur hebben bereikt, blijft de ingestelde temperatuur op het LCD-scherm staan zonder te knipperen. De straightener is dan klaar voor gebruik.

De straightener kan zowel op droog als nat haar gebruikt worden. Pak een pluk haar van ongeveer 5 cm breed en kam het uit. Plaats het haar tussen de hete platen en druk de tang om het haar stevig dicht. Werk voor het beste resultaat vanaf de haarwortel tot de haarpunten. Houd de tang zo vast gedurende een paar seconden, afhankelijk van uw haartype. Haal het haar uit de tang door de tang te openen en het haar zorgvuldig van de platen af te brengen.

Let op:

- Gebruik het apparaat niet als er druppels in het haar zitten.

- Gebruik het apparaat nooit in de buurt van water.

- De verwarmingsplaten zijn tijdens en na het gebruik heet. Raak tijdens het gebruik de hete platen niet aan.

- De straightener schakelt zichzelf automatisch uit nadat het apparaat een uur ingeschakeld is.

ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING

Pas op: laat het apparaat volledig afkoelen voordat u het schoonmaakt.

1. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat de straightener afkoelen.

2. Gebruik een vochtige doek om het apparaat en de verwarmingsplaten schoon te maken.

3. Maak het apparaat droog met een schone, droge doek en berg het in de originele verpakking op als het niet wordt gebruikt.

TIPS VAN PRINCESS

1. Haal altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact als het apparaat niet wordt gebruikt en voordat het wordt schoongemaakt. Laat de straightener nooit onbeheerd achter.

2. Gebruik het apparaat niet als het snoer beschadigd is, maar stuur het naar onze reparatie-afdeling om het te laten repareren.

3. Wind het snoer niet op om het apparaat.

4. De straightener is alleen geschikt voor huishoudelijk gebruik.

5. Er dient toezicht op kinderen te worden gehouden om ervoor te zorgen dat zij niet met het apparaat spelen.

6. Het gebruik van dit apparaat door kinderen of personen met een lichamelijke, zintuiglijke, geestelijke of motorische handicap of met gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, kan gevaren opleveren. Degenen die verantwoordelijk zijn voor hun veiligheid dienen duidelijke aanwijzingen te geven of toezicht te houden bij het gebruik van het apparaat.

Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for later reference. Never use the Princess Straightener in the bathroom or near a full washbasin. Never try to pick up equipment that has fallen into water, but pull the plug out of the socket first. Use the straightener with dry hands only.

With the nano silver & tourmaline heating plates, the straightener can be used to remove curls from hair and is also great for giving straight hair added bounce by creating locks and waves. The straightener also features an extra-long rotatable cord, an LCD screen, on/off button, temperature ‘+’ button and temperature ‘-’ button.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Plug the plug into the wall socket. Press the on/off button shortly to turn on the appliance. The LCD illuminates and shows the setting temperature. The default setting is 170°. Press the temperature buttons (“+” or “-”) to set your required temperature. Press the temperature adjustment buttons repeatedly to increase/decrease the set temperature in steps of 10°. When the temperature is set, the set temperature flashes on the LCD. The set temperature will remain displayed on the LCD once the temperature of the heating plate has been reached. The straightener is now ready for use.

The straightener is suitable for use when the hair is dry or wet. Take a section of hair of approximately 5cm in width and smooth it out with a comb. Place the hair between the hot plates and close the tong firmly around the hair. For best results, work from the roots to the tips of the hair. Depending on your hair type, hold the tong in position for a few seconds. Take the hair out of the tong by loosening the tong and moving the hair carefully away from the plates.

Note:

- Don’t use the appliance if the hair has drips.

- Never use the appliance near water.

- The heating plates are hot during and after use. Don’t touch the hot plates during use.

- The straightener cuts off automatically after turn on for 1hour.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Caution: Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning.

1. Remove the plug from the socket and allow the straightener to cool down.

2. Use a damp cloth to wipe the appliance and the heating plates clean.

3. Wipe the appliance dry with a clean dry cloth and store in the original packaging when not in use.

PRINCESS TIPS

1. Always unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning. Never leave the straightener unattended.

2. If the cord is damaged, do not use the appliance, but send it to our service department for repair.

3. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.

4. This straightener is only suitable for household use.

5. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

6. The use of this appliance by children or persons with a physical, sensory, mental or motorial disability, or lack of experience and knowledge can be dangerous. Persons responsible for their safety should give explicit instructions or supervise the use of the appliance.

U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

BLUE NEUTRAL BROWN LIVE

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows: The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black. The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.

WARNING: ON NO ACCOUNT SHOULD EITHER THE LIVE OR NEUTRAL WIRES BE CONNECTED TO THE EARTH TERMINAL

If a 13 amp plug is used with this appliance, a 3 amp fuse should be fitted. If any other type of plug is used, a 15 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or at the distribution board.
