Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing op uw gemak door en bewaar hem om later nog eens te kunnen raadplegen. Controleer of de netspanning in de woning overeenkomt met die van het apparaat. Deze PRINCESS-stofzuiger is een compacte, lichtgewichtstofzuiger in sprankelend design, die dankzij de grote rubberen wielen en het zwenkwiel aan de voorzijde tevens zeer wendbaar is. Het apparaat is voorzien van een elektronische zuigkrachtregeling, volle-stofzakindicator, meervoudig luchtfiltersysteem, parkeerstand en snoeropwindsysteem.

GEBRUIKSTIPS

• Steek de slang in de opening aan de bovenzijde van de stofzuiger. Om de slang er weer uit te halen moeten de twee vergrendelknoppen ingedrukt worden terwijl u de slang er weer uittrekt.

• Indien u later gebruik wilt maken van de parkeerstand, is het handig om eerst het klemvormige hulpstuk op de juiste plaats op de zuigbuis te monteren.

• Schuif nu eerste de kleine ronde parkeerklem op de buis of zuigmond, met de punt naar beneden gericht. Dit is later handig voor de parkeerstand.

• U kunt de zuigbuis tot de gewenste lengte uitschuiven door de knop met pijl op het zwarte vergrendel omhulsel in de richting van de pijl te schuiven. Wanneer u de juiste lengte hebt ingesteld, laat u de knop weer los.

• Bevestig nu de zuigmond aan de buis en zet hem op de gewenste stand. De borstel naar binnen is voor het reinigen van alle soorten tapijt. Voor harde, gladde vloeren wordt de borstel naar buiten gezet. U kunt de stand omschakelen met de knoppen op de zuigmond.

• Trek het snoer uit de stofzuiger. Zodra een gekleurd bandje zichtbaar wordt, is het snoer geheel afgerold. Trek hierna niet meer verder.

• Zet het apparaat aan. Dit kan met de voet, door de aan-/uitknop op de bovenzijde in te drukken.

• Stel de zuigkracht in met de schuifregelaar aan de bovenzijde.

• Kleine hoekjes en vervelende randjes kunt u eenvoudig reinigen met een van de bijgeleverde zuigmonden. Wanneer u deze hulpstukken niet gebruikt, kunt u ze opbergen in het opbergvak in de bovenkant onder het deksel.

OPBERGEN

• Zet het apparaat uit met de aan-/uitknop op de bovenzijde.

• Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en rol het snoer automatisch op door op de knop aan de bovenzijde van het apparaat te drukken.

• Zet het apparaat in de parkeerstand door de punt van het onderste klemmetje dat aan de buis bevestigd is in de uitsparing aan de onderzijde of achterzijde van het apparaat te steken. Onder- of achterzijde wordt bepaald door de plaats van de parkeerklem.

STOFZAKKEN

Waar te koop?

Bij warenhuizen en (elektro)speciaalzaken onder het merk Princess, art. nr. 332800. Bij Blokker onder het merk Handy clean & bright, art. nr. 0067. Ons Service Center beschikt over alle adressen waar deze stofzakken en het Hepa-filter verkrijgbaar zijn.

Vervangen

• Wanneer de volle-stofzakindicator helemaal rood is, is de stofzak vol. Gebruik de stofzuiger in dit geval pas weer als u er een nieuwe stofzak in hebt gedaan.

• Open het deksel bij de handgreep en trek de zwarte stofzakhouder naar boven.

• Haal de volle stofzak uit het apparaat.

• Schuif een nieuwe stofzak in de zwarte houder. Trek de zak iets naar u toe en klem hem vast in de zwarte houder.

• Doe het deksel dicht en controleer of het klikt. Als de stofzak niet goed bevestigd is, klikt het deksel niet dicht.

• NB: als er geen stofzak in het apparaat zit, sluit het deksel niet.

HEPA-filter

• Het is raadzaam ook het Hepa-filter regelmatig te vervangen. Het Hepa-filter bevindt zich achter het zwarte rooster aan de achterkant van de stofzuiger ter hoogte van de luchtuitlaat.

Vervangen

• Beweeg het schuifje in het rooster naar beneden. Het rooster kan nu opengeklapt worden. Het Hepa-filter en microfilter kunnen nu uitgenomen en vervangen worden.

Katoenen stofzakken

• Als u een katoenen stofzak gebruikt in plaats van papieren zakken, kunt u de zak meerdere malen hergebruiken. Het vervangen van de zak gaat op dezelfde wijze als bij een papieren zak.

• U kunt de zak boven een pedaalemmer legen door de clip zijwaarts van de zak af te schuiven, de zak leeg te schudden en de clip weer terug over de onderzijde van de zak te schuiven.

• Als u een katoenen stofzak gebruikt, adviseren wij u het motorfilter eens per jaar in lauwwarm water te wassen. Zorg dat het filter weer goed droog is alvorens het terug in het apparaat te plaatsen.

REINIGEN

HAAL EERST DE STEKKER UIT HET STOPCONTACT. DOMPEL DE STOFZUIGER NOOIT ONDER IN WATER OF EEN ANDERE VLOEISTOF.

Reinig de buitenzijde en het stofzakcompartiment met een enigszins vochtig doekje. Gebruik geen schurende of agressieve middelen.

PRINCESS TIPS

• Zuig nooit vloeistoffen op.

• Zuig nooit hete en/of brandende stoffen op.

• Controleer of de stofzak goed bevestigd is alvorens het apparaat voor de eerste maal te gebruiken.

• Door het opzuigen van erg fijne stofdeeltjes kan het voorkomen dat de porieën van de stofzak verstopt raken. Hierdoor kan er geen luchtstroom meer plaatsvinden. Als dit gebeurt, vervangt u de stofzak, zelfs als deze nog niet vol is.

• Gebruik om defecten te voorkomen de stofzuiger nooit zonder het motorfilter.

• Zorg dat een snoer of eventueel verlengsnoer zodanig weggelegd wordt dat niemand erover kan struikelen.

• Gebruik deze stofzuiger niet buitenshuis.

• Voor langdurig gebruik (langer dan ca. 10 minuten) raden wij u aan het snoer geheel af te rollen. Dit om oververhitting van het snoer te voorkomen. Rol een eventueel verlengsnoer om dezelfde reden ook altijd geheel af.

• De motor heeft een thermische beveiliging, die bij oververhitting de motor uitschakelt. Trek in dat geval de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat de stofzuiger goed afkoelen. Controleer eerst waarom de stofzuiger oververhit geraakt is. Een volle stofzak en/of een vervuild motorfilter kan de oorzaak zijn. Vervang in dat geval eerst de zak en/of het filter. U kunt de motor daarna gewoon weer inschakelen.

• Bij beschadiging van de stofzuiger of het snoer raden wij u aan het apparaat niet meer te gebruiken. Een beschadigd snoer kan alleen door onze servicedienst of door een andere deskundige vervangen worden.

• Laat kinderen nooit spelen met het apparaat.

• Het is niet zonder gevaar om dit apparaat te laten gebruiken door kinderen of personen met een geestelijke of lichamelijke handicap, of met te weinig ervaring of deskundigheid. De voor de veiligheid van deze gebruikers verantwoordelijke persoon dient ze duidelijke instructies te geven voor of ze te begeleiden bij het gebruik van dit apparaat.

Please read these instructions at your leisure and save them for future reference. Check that your domestic electricity supply matches that of the appliance. This Princess vacuum cleaner is a stunningly designed and powerful compact light-weight vacuum cleaner, which is especially easy to manoeuvre thanks to its rubber wheels and the pivoting wheel at the front. The appliance comes complete with an electronic suction regulator, full-bag indicator, multi-way air filter, storage stand and cord-winding system.

TIPS FOR USE

• Place the hose in the opening on the top of the vacuum cleaner. To remove the hose, press the two lock buttons while pulling on the hose.

• If you wish to use the storage mode, it is a good idea to first slide the clamp-shaped attachment onto the tube before attaching the nozzle to the hose.

• Now place the small round clamp on the tube or nozzle, with the end pointed downwards. This is handy later for the storage mode.

• You can extend the tube to the length required by turning the arrow button on the black casing in the direction of the arrow. When it is set to the right length, release the button.

• Now attach the nozzle to the tube and put it on the appropriate setting. The brush should be retracted for cleaning all types of carpet. For hard smooth floors, the brush should be fully extended. The setting can be adjusted by means of the buttons on the nozzle.

• Pull the cord out of the vacuum cleaner. When the coloured strip is visible, the cord is fully extended. Do not pull further than this point.

• Switch on the appliance. Switch it on by pressing the on/off button in the handle.

• Set the suction power by means of the sliding control on the top.

• Difficult-to-reach nooks and crannies can easily be cleaned using one of the nozzles supplied. When not in use, these attachments can be stored in the storage section in the top of the lid.

STORAGE

• Turn the appliance off using the on/off button on the top of the appliance.

• Remove the plug from the socket and press the button on the top of the appliance to roll the cord in automatically.

• Put the appliance in storage mode by taking the tip of the lower clip that is attached to the tube, and inserting it into the clasp on the underside or rear of the appliance. This depends on the position of the storage clamp.

CLEANING BAGS

Where can you buy them?

Princess bags (art. no. 332800) are available from department stores and specialist electrical stores. Handy clean & bright bags (art. no. 0067) can be found at Blokker. Our Service Center has details of the addresses where these bags and the Hepa filter are stocked.

Replacing the bag:

• When the full-bag indicator is completely red, the bag is full. Do not use the appliance until the bag has been replaced.

• Use the handle to open the lid and pull the black bag holder upward.

• Remove the full dust bag from the appliance

• Place a new dust bag into the black holder. Pull the bag towards you and fasten it into the black holder.

• Close the lid, making sure you hear a click. If the dust bag is not correctly attached, there will be no click.

• NB: Unless there is a dust bag in the appliance, the lid will not close.

HEPA filter

• It is recommended that you change the Hepa filter regularly. The Hepa filter is situated behind the black grille on the back of the vacuum cleaner near the air outlet.

Replacing

• Move the slide in the grill downward. The grille can now be opened. The Hepa filter and the microfilter can now be removed and replaced.

Cotton dust bags

• If you use cotton dust bags instead of paper ones, they can be reused several times. Replace the bag in the same way as the paper bag.

• You can place the bag above a pedal bin by sliding the clip sideways, shaking the bag empty and sliding the clip back on the underside of the bag.

• If you use cotton dust bags we recommend you wash the motor filter once yearly in warm water. Make sure it is completely dry before replacing in the appliance.

CLEANING

ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING. NEVER IMMERSE THE VACUUM CLEANER IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

Clean the outside of the dust compartment with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive or strong detergents.

PRINCESS TIPS

• Never use the vacuum for liquids.

• Never use for hot or burning materials

• Ensure the dust bag is properly attached, before first using the appliance.

• When very small particles of dust are vacuumed, it can lead to the pores of the dust bag becoming blocked. This prevents further flow of air. Should this occur, please replace the dust bag, full or otherwise.

• Never use the vacuum cleaner without the motor filter, as this could cause defects.

• Make sure the cord and/or extension cable are stored tidily to avoid people tripping over them.

• Do not use outside.

• For longer use (more than 10 minutes) we advise you to extend the cord fully. This is to prevent the cord from overheating. Any extension cable should be fully extended for the same reasons.

• The motor has thermal protection which deactivates the motor in the event of overheating. If this happens, remove the plug from the socket and allow it to cool down. First check why the vacuum cleaner has overheated. It may have been caused by a full dust bag or a dirty motor filter. In that case, first replace the bag and/or filter. You can then turn the motor back on as normal.

• Should the appliance or the cord become damaged, we advise you not to use it. Damaged cords can only be replaced by our service department or another qualified expert.

• Never allow children to play with the appliance.

• The use of this appliance by children or persons with a physical, sensory, mental or motorial disability, or lack of experience and knowledge can give cause to hazards. Persons responsible for their safety should give explicit instructions or supervise the use of the appliance.

U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

BLUE NEUTRAL BROWN LIVE

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:

The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black. The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.

With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 13 amp fuse should be fitted. If any other type of plug is used a 15 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or at the distribution board.

Cet aspirateur PRINCESS est compact et léger, au design original, très maniable grâce à ses grosses roulettes en caoutchouc et à sa roulette pivotante à l’avant. L’aspirateur comporte un réglage électronique de la force d’aspiration, un indicateur “sac plein”, un multiple filrage d’air, une position de rangement/arrêt et un système d’enroulement du cordon.

CONSEILS D’UTILISATION

• Introduisez le tuyau dans l’orifice sur le dessus de l’aspirateur. Pour retirer le tuyau, appuyez sur les deux boutons de blocage tout en tirant sur le tuyau.

• Si vous comptez plus tard utiliser la position arrêt, il conviendra de fixer d’abord l’accessoire en forme de pince à la place appropriée sur le tube aspsirateur.

• Glissez d’abord la petite pince ronde sur le tube ou l’embout, la pointe dirigée vers le bas. Ce sera pratique plus tard pour la position d’arrêt.

• Vous pouvez allonger le tube à la longueur voulue en tournant le bouton avec la fleche sur le manchon de blocage noir dans le sens de la fleche. Une fois le tube réglé à la longueur souhaitée, relâchez le bouton.

• Fixez à présent l’embout au tube et mettez-le dans la position souhaitée. La brosse rentrée pour nettoyer toutes les sortes de tapis. La brosse sortie pour les surfaces dures et lisses. Les boutons sur l’embout permettent de passer d’une position à l’autre.

• Sortir le cordon de l’aspirateur. Le cordon est entièrement déroulé lorsqu’une bande colorée est apparente. Ne tirez plus ensuite sur le cordon.

• Allumez l’appareil. Pour cela appuyez avec le pied sur l’interrupteur Marche/Arrêt situé sur le dessus de l’aspirateur.

• Réglez la force d’aspiration à l’aide du régulateur coulissant sur le dessus de l’appareil.

• Pour les angles et bords difficilement accessibles, utilisez l’un des embouts fournis avec l’appareil. Lorsque vous n’utilisez pas les accessoires, vous pouvez les ranger dans le compartiment qui se trouve sous le couvercle sur le dessus de l’appareil.

RANGEMENT

• Eteignez l’aspirateur à l’aide du bouton marche/arrêt sur le dessus de l’appareil.

• Retirez la fiche de la prise et enroulez le cordon automatiquement en appuyant sur le bouton sur le dessus de l’appareil.

• Mettez l’aspirateur en position de rangement/arrêt en introduisant l’extrémité de la pince inférieure, fixée au tube, dans l’encoche prévue sur le dessous ou l’arrière de l’appareil. C’est l’emplacement de la pince de rangement qui détermine si l’encoche se trouve sur le dessous ou à l’arrière de l’appareil.

Où se les procurer?

Dans les grands magasins et magasins d’électroménager sous la marque Princess, référence d’article n° 332800. Chez Blokker sous la marque Handy clean & bright, référence d’article n° 0067. Notre Service après-vente est à votre disposition pour vous fournir les adresses où se procurer ces sacs à poussière ainsi que le filtre Hepa.

Remplacer

• Le sac à poussière est plein lorsque l’indicateur “sac plein” est entièrement rouge. Dans ce cas, placez un nouveau sac à poussière avant de réutiliser l’aspirateur.

• Ouvrez le couvercle près de la poignée et soulevez le porte-sac noir en tirant.

• Sortez le sac plein.

• Glissez un sac à poussière neuf dans le porte-sac noir. Tirez légèrement le sac vers vous et le fixer dans le porte-sac noir.

• Refermez le couvercle, qui doit s’encliquer dans le mécanisme. Si le sac n’est pas bien fixé, le couvercle ne se fermera pas.

• NB : le couvercle ne se ferme pas s’il n’y a pas de sac dans l’appareil.

Filtre HEPA

• Il est également conseillé de remplacer régulièrement le filtre Hepa. Le filtre Hepa se trouve derrière la grille noire située à l’arrière de l’aspirateur au niveau de la sortie d’air.

Remplacer

• Abaissez la tirette dans la grille. La grille peut à présent être ouverte. Le filtre Hepa et le microfiltre peuvent à présent être retirés et remplacés.

Sacs à poussière en tissu

• Si vous utilisez un sac à poussière en tissu au lieu d’un sac en papier, vous pourrez le réutiliser plusieurs fois. Pour remplacer le sac en tissu procédez de la même façon que pour le sac en papier.

• Pour vider le sac, le mettre au-dessus d’une poubelle, faire glisser le clip sur le côté du sac et secouer le sac ; reglisser en suite le clip en place sous le sac.

• Si vous utilisez un sac à poussière en tissu, nous vous conseillons de laver le filtre moteur une fois par an dans l’eau tiède. Le filtre doit être absolument sec avant de pouvoir être remis dans l’appareil.

NETTOYAGE

RETIREZ D'ABORD LA FICHE DE LA PRISE ÉLECTRIQUE. NE PLONGEZ JAMAIS L’ASPIRATEUR DANS L’EAU NI DANS TOUT AUTRE LIQUIDE.

Nettoyez l’extérieur de l’aspirateur et le compartiment du sac à poussière avec un chiffon légèrement humide. Ne pas utiliser de produits abrasifs ou agressifs.

CONSEILS DE PRINCESS

• N’utilisez jamais l’aspirateur pour aspirer des liquides.

• Ne passez jamais l’aspirateur sur des matières très chaudes et/ou enflammées.

• Contrôlez si le sac est bien fixé avant d’utiliser l’appareil pour la première fois.

• L’aspiration de fines particules de poussière peut boucher les pores du sac et empêcher le passage du flux d’air. Dans ce cas, remplacez le sac, même s’il n’est pas plein.

• N’utilisez jamais l’aspirateur sans filtre moteur, pour ne pas l’endommager.

• Veillez à ce que personne ne puisse trébucher sur le cordon ou la rallonge.

• N’utilisez pas l’aspirateur à l’extérieur.

• Lors d’un emploi prolongé (plus de 10 minutes), nous vous conseillons de dérouler entièrement le cordon sinon il risquerait de chauffer. Pour la même raison, déroulez aussi toujours entièrement la rallonge éventuelle.

• Le moteur est équipé d’une protection thermique qui déconnecte l’aspirateur en cas de surchauffe. Si cela se produit, débranchez la fiche de la prise de courant et laisser l’aspirateur refroidir. Controlez d’abord la cause de la surchauffe de l’aspirateur. La surchauffe peut être due au sac à poussière qui est plein ou au filtre moteur qui est encrassé. Dans ce cas, remplacez d’abord le sac à poussière et/ou le filtre incriminé. Puis rallumez normalement le moteur.

• Il est conseillé de ne plus utiliser l’aspirateur si lui-même ou le cordon est endommagé. Le remplacement du cordon ne peut être effectué que par notre service après-vente ou par un réparateur agréé.

• Ne jamais laisser des enfants jouer avec l’appareil.

• L’utilisation de cet appareil par des enfants ou des handicapés physiques, sensoriels, mentaux ou moteurs, ou dénués d’expérience et de connaissance peut être dangereuse. Les personnes responsables de leur sécurité devront fournir des instructions explicites ou surveiller l’utilisation de l’appareil.

Die Gebrauchsanweisung in Ruhe durchlesen und aufheben, um später noch einmal nachlesen zu können. Überprüfen, ob die Netzspannung in der Wohnung der des Gerätes entspricht. Bei diesem PRINCESS-Staubsauger handelt es sich um einen kompakten Leichtgewichts-Staubsauger mit einem spritzigen Design, der dank seiner großen Gummiräder und eines Schwenkrades an der Vorderseite äußerst wendig ist. Das Gerät ist mit einer elektronischen Saugkraftregulierung, Staubbeutel-Füllanzeige, Mehrfach-Luftfiltersystem, Ständer und Schnuraufrollsystem ausgestattet.

GEBRAUCHSHINWEISE

• Den Schlauch in die Öffnung oben auf dem Staubsauger stecken. Zum Entfernen des Schlauchs die beiden Verriegelungsknöpfe drücken und gleichzeitig den Schlauch herausziehen.

• Wenn später der Ständer benutzt werden soll, empfiehlt es sich, zunächst das klemmenförmige Zubehörteil an der richtigen Stelle am Saugrohr zu befestigen.

• Zuerst die kleine runde Ständerklemme mit der Spitze nach unten auf das Saugrohr oder die Saugdüse schieben. Das ist praktisch für die spätere Benutzung des Ständers.

• Durch Schieben des Knopfes mit dem Pfeil auf der schwarzen Verriegelungshülle in Pfeilrichtung kann das Saugrohr bis auf die gewünschte Länge herausgeschoben werden. Wenn die richtige Länge eingestellt wurde, den Knopf wieder loslassen.

• Nun die Saugdüse am Saugrohr befestigen und den gewünschten Stand einstellen. Die nach innen gerichtete Bürste eignet sich zum Reinigen aller Fußbodenbeläge. Für harte, glatte Böden wird die Bürste nach außen gerichtet. Der Stand kann mit den Knöpfen auf der Saugdüse verändert werden.

• Die Schnur aus dem Staubsauger ziehen. Sobald ein farbiges Band zu sehen ist, wurde die Schnur ganz abgerollt. Dann nicht mehr an der Schnur ziehen.

• Das Gerät einschalten. Dazu den Ein-Aus-Schalter oben auf dem Staubsauger mit dem Fuß eindrücken.

• Mit dem Schieberegler oben auf dem Staubsauger wird die Saugkraft eingestellt.
