Lees de instructies zorgvuldig door voor gebruik en bewaar ze om later nog eens te raadplegen.
De PRINCESS COTTON CANDY is een unieke suikerspinmachine. De suikerspinmachine maakt in een
mum van tijd van een lepel suiker een heerlijke, fraaie suikerspin. Het apparaat kan zowel met witte als
gekleurde suikerkorrels worden gebruikt. De PRINCESS COTTON CANDY is voorzien van stevige
zuignapvoeten, een verwijderbare schaal voor makkelijk reinigen, een maatlepel en stokjes.

GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING

De Cotton Candy in elkaar zetten

- Plaats de basis van het apparaat op een stabiele, vlakke ondergrond.

- Plaats de schaal op de basis.

- Plaats het deksel op de schaal.

- Plaats de draaischijf op de as. Draai de schijf met de hand een keer rond om er zeker van te zijn dat hij
vrij kan draaien.

SUIKERSPIN MAKEN

- Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.

- Schakel het apparaat in met de aan-/uitschakelaar.

- Laat het apparaat 5 minuten opwarmen.

- Schakel het apparaat uit en vul de maatlepel met suiker. U kunt voor het maken van een suikerspin
gewone witte suikerkorrels gebruiken, maar ook gekleurde.

- Tip de suiker in het gat in het midden van de draaischijf.

- Schakel het apparaat weer in. De schijf begint te draaien en de suiker wordt opgewarmd. Wanneer de
suiker gesmolten is, vormt zich in de schaal een web van gesponnen suiker.

- Zodra het web gevormd is, kunt u met een van de bijgeleverde stokjes een suikerspin maken.

- Om te zorgen dat de gesponnen suiker goed aan het stokje blijft zitten, moet u het stokje aan de
rand van de schaal ronddraaien, dan kan de gesponnen suiker zich er goed omheen vormen. Na een
poosje wordt het suikerweb door de Cotton Candy sneller gevormd. De gesponnen suiker vormt zich
makkelijk rond het stokje wanneer u het stokje boven de schotel ronddraait.

- Schakel het apparaat uit wanneer de Cotton Candy geen gesponnen suiker meer vormt.

- U kunt vervolgens meer suikerspinnen maken door nog een lepel suiker toe te voegen. Als u het
apparaat niet langer wilt gebruiken, moet u de stekker uit het stopcontact trekken. Laat het apparaat na
gebruik circa 15 minuten afkoelen voordat u het schoonmaakt.

SCHOONMAKEN

HAAL EERST DE STEKKER UIT HET STOPCONTACT EN LAAT HET APPARAAT AFKOELEN.
Maak de Cotton Candy na ieder gebruik schoon. Dit voorkomt dat voedselresten vastkoeken. Gebruik
geen schurende of agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen. Verwijder de schaal, het deksel en de draaischijf en
maak deze onderdelen schoon in een warm sopje. Neem de buitenkant van het apparaat af
met een vochtige doek.
DOMPEL DE COTTON CANDY NOOIT ONDER IN WATER OF EEN ANDERE
VLOEISTOF.

PRINCESS-TIPS

- Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond.

- Gebruik het apparaat alleen voor huishoudelijk gebruik.

- Zorg dat het snoer of een eventueel verlengsnoer zodanig weggelegd wordt dat niemand
erover kan struikelen.

- Bij dit type apparaat kan een beschadigd snoer alleen met behulp van speciaal gereed­schap door onze servicedienst worden vervangen.

- Gebruik het apparaat niet buitenshuis.

- Behandel de hulpstukken voorzichtig, stoot ze niet tegen harde voorwerpen en laat ze niet vallen.

- Houd goed toezicht op de Cotton Candy wanneer kinderen erbij kunnen. Wees zelf ook voorzichtig met
het apparaat. Laat het apparaat helemaal afkoelen voordat u het opbergt.

- Zorg ervoor dat kinderen niet met dit apparaat spelen.

- Het gebruik van dit apparaat door kinderen of personen met een geestelijke of lichamelijke handicap,
of met te weinig ervaring of deskundigheid, kan ongelukken veroorzaken. De voor de veiligheid van
deze gebruikers verantwoordelijke persoon dient ze duidelijke instructies te geven voor of ze te begeleiden
bij het gebruik van dit apparaat.

- Toestellen zijn niet bedoeld om te worden bediend door middel van een externe timer of aparte
afstandsbediening systeem.

- De buitenkant kan warm worden wanneer het apparaat in bedrijf is.

- Schakel het apparaat uit en trek uit het stopcontact alvorens accessoires te verwisselen of als u onder­delen nadert die bewegen als het apparaat in gebruik is.

BEFORE USE

Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference.
The PRINCESS COTTON CANDY is a unique candyfloss machine. It takes almost no time at all for the
candyfloss machine to make delicious and attractive candyfloss from a spoonful of sugar. The machine
can be used with both white granulated sugar and coloured sugars. The machine is supplied complete
with solid suction feet, removable dish for easy cleaning, measuring spoon and sticks.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Assembling the Cotton Candy

- Place the base of the machine on a stable and flat surface.

- Fit the dish onto the base.

- Place the lid on the dish.

- Push the rotating disc onto the axle. Turn the disc round once by hand to make sure that it can rotate
freely.

MAKING THE CANDYFLOSS

- Insert the plug into a wall socket.

- Switch on the machine with the main switch.

- Allow the machine to warm up for about 5 minutes.

- Switch off the machine and fill the measuring spoon with sugar. Normal granulated sugar can be used
for making candyfloss but it is of course also possible to use coloured sugars.

- Tip the sugar into the hole in the middle of the rotating disc.

- Switch on the appliance again. The disc will then begin to rotate and the sugar will be warmed up at
the same time. Once the sugar has melted a web of sugar will be formed in the dish.

- Once the web has been formed the sticks supplied can be used to form the candyfloss.

- In order to make sure the candyfloss sticks to the stick well, the stick must be rotated at
the edge of the dish. This creates a good centre for the candyfloss to form around.
After a while, the Cotton Candy will form the sugar web more quickly. This easily
forms around the stick with the candyfloss centre by rotating the stick above the Cotton
Candy dish.

- Switch the machine off when the Cotton Candy stops forming a sugar web.

- The measuring spoon can once again be filled with sugar to prepare more candyfloss.
If you do not intend to continue using the machine, the plug must be pulled out. It is
advisable to let the machine cool down for 15 minutes before cleaning.

CLEANING

FIRST UNPLUG THE CORD FROM THE SOCKET AND LET THE MACHINE COOL DOWN
Clean the Cotton Candy after each use to prevent leftover food from sticking. Don’t use abrasive or strong
detergents. Remove the dish, the lid and the rotating disc and clean these parts in hot soapy water. Use a
damp cloth to wipe off the outside of the machine.

NEVER IMMERSE THE COTTON CANDY IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUIDS.

PRINCESS TIPS

- Place the machine on a stable and flat surface.

- This appliance is only suitable for household use.

- Make sure the cord or extension cord is carefully positioned to avoid people tripping over it.

- With this type of appliance, a damaged cable must be replaced by our service department using special tools.

- Don’t use outside.

- Be careful with the accessories, do not let them bang against hard objects and don’t let them fall.

- Keep an eye on the cotton candy when it is within reach of children. Also take care yourself when
using the appliance. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before tidying it away.

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

- The use of this appliance by children or persons with a physical, sensory, mental or motorial disability,
or lack of experience and knowledge can cause accidents. Persons responsible for their safety should
give explicit instructions or supervise the use of the appliance.

- Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

- The outer surface may get hot when the appliance is operating.

- Switch off the appliance and disconnect from socket before changing accessories or approaching parts
that move in use.

U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE
GREEN/YELLOW EARTH

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour mar­kings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:

The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or
coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L
or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter E or and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW

If a 13Amp (BS1363) plug is used, a 13Amp (BS1362) fuse must be fitted, or if any other type of plug is
used, a 13Amp fuse must be fitted, either in the plug or adaptor, or on the Distribution Board.

Le PRINCESS COTTON CANDY est une machine à faire de la barbe à papa. En un rien
de temps, cet appareil vous permet de fabriquer une superbe et délicieuse barbe à papa à
partir d’une cuillère à soupe de sucre. La machine permet d’utiliser aussi bien du sucre
blanc granulé que des sucres colorés. La machine est fournie complète avec des pieds
ventouses solides, un bac amovible pour faciliter le nettoyer, une cuillère de mesure et des
bâtonnets.

MODE D'EMPLOI

Pour assembler la machine à barbe à papa

- Installer le socle de la machine sur une surface plane et stable.

- Fixer le bac sur le socle.

- Mettre le couvercle sur le bac.

- Fixer le plateau rotatif sur l’axe. Faire tourner une fois le plateau à la main pour s'assurer qu'il tourne
librement.

POUR CONFECTIONNER UNE BARBE À PAPA

- Brancher la fiche dans une prise de courant du secteur.

- Allumer la machine avec l’interrupteur.

- Faire chauffer la machine pendant environ 5 minutes.

- Eteindre la machine et remplir de sucre la cuillère de mesure. Pour faire de la barbe à papa, on peut
utiliser du sucre blanc ordinaire mais aussi bien entendu des sucres colorés.

- Verser le sucre dans le trou qui se trouve au centre du plateau rotatif.

- Rallumer l’appareil. Le plateau se met à tourner et fait chauffer le sucre. Lorsque le sucre est fondu,
des filaments de sucre se forment dans le bac.

- On peut alors enrouler les fils de sucre sur les bâtonnets fournis pour former une barbe à papa.

- Pour que les filaments de sucre attachent bien au bâtonnet, il faut tourner le bâtonnet sur le rebord du
bac. Cela permet de bien former le c?ur de la barbe à papa autour duquel s’enrouleront les filaments.
Au bout d’un moment les fils de sucre se formeront plus rapidement dans la machine. Les fils de sucre
s'enrouleront plus facilement autour du bâtonnet en faisant tourner le bâtonnet au dessus du bac.

- Eteindre la machine à barbe à papa lorsqu'elle ne file plus de filaments.

- Si vous désirez confectionner une autre barbe à papa, remettre une cuillère de sucre. Si vous n'utilisez
plus la machine à barbe à papa, débranchez la prise. Il est recommandé de laisser refroidir la machine
15 minutes avant de la nettoyer.

ENTRETIEN

DÉBRANCHER D’ABORD LA PRISE DE COURANT ET LAISSER REFROIDIR LA MACHINE
Nettoyer la machine à barbe à papa après chaque utilisation afin d’empêcher des restes d’attacher. Ne
pas utiliser de détergents abrasifs. Retirer le bac, le couvercle et le plateau rotatif et les nettoyer à l’eau
chaude savonneuse. Essuyer l’extérieur de la machine à l’aide d’un chiffon humide.
NE JAMAIS PLONGER LA MACHINE À BARBE À PAPA DANS L’EAU NI DANS TOUT AUTRE
LIQUIDE.

CONSEILS PRINCESS

- Installer l’appareil sur une surface plane et stable.

- Cet appareil est destiné uniquement à un usage domestique.

- S’assurer que le cordon ou une rallonge éventuelle sont disposés de telle façon que personne ne puisse
trébucher dessus.

- La réparation du cordon de ce type d’appareils exige des outils spéciaux et doit être
effectuée par notre service après-vente.

- Ne pas utiliser cet appareil en plein air.

- Manipuler les accessoires avec précaution ; ne pas les cogner contre des objets durs et
ne pas les faire tomber.

- Ne pas laisser les enfants utiliser la machine à barbe à papa sans surveillance. Soyez
vous-même très prudent en utilisant l’appareil. Laisser refroidir l’appareil complètement
avant de le ranger.

- Les enfants doivent faire l’objet d’une surveillance afin qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.

- L’utilisation de cet appareil par des enfants ou des personnes handicapées physiques, mentales ou
moteur, ou des personnes disposant de connaissances ou d’expérience insuffisantes peut entraîner des
accidents. Les personnes responsables de leur sécurité doivent leur fournir une assistance ou des
instructions concernant l'utilisation de l'appareil.

PRINCESS COTTON CANDY ist ein einzigartiges Gerät zur Herstellung von Zuckerwatte. Das
Zuckerwatte-Gerät kann einen Löffel Zucker im Handumdrehen in köstliche und appetitliche Zuckerwatte
verwandeln. Das Gerät kann sowohl mit weißem Kristallzucker als auch mit buntem Zucker verwendet
werden. Sie erhalten das Gerät komplett mit soliden Saugfüßen, einer abnehmbaren Schüssel zur
bequemen Reinigung, einem Messlöffel und Stäben zur Herstellung der Zuckerwatte.

GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG

Montage des Cotton Candy-Geräts

- Stellen Sie das Unterteil des Geräts auf eine stabile und gerade Oberfläche.

- Setzen Sie die Schüssel auf das Unterteil.

- Legen Sie den Deckel auf die Schüssel.

- Drücken Sie die Drehscheibe auf die Achse. Drehen Sie die Scheibe einmal mit der Hand, um sicher­zustellen, dass sie ungehindert rotieren kann.

DIE HERSTELLUNG DER ZUCKERWATTE

- Den Stecker an eine Wandsteckdose anschließen.

- Schalten Sie das Gerät mit dem Hauptschalter ein.

- Lassen Sie das Gerät ungefähr 5 Minuten lang aufheizen.

- Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und füllen Sie den Messlöffel mit Zucker. Zur Herstellung von Zuckerwatte
können neben normalem Kristallzucker natürlich auch bunte Zuckersorten benutzt werden.

- Schütten Sie den Zucker in das Loch in der Mitte der Drehscheibe.

- Schalten Sie das Gerät erneut ein. Daraufhin beginnt sich die Scheibe zu drehen und gleichzeitig wird
der Zucker erhitzt. Sobald der Zucker geschmolzen ist, bildet sich ein Zuckergewebe in der Schüssel.

- Wenn sich das Gewebe gebildet hat, können die beigefügten Stäbe zur Herstellung der Watte verwendet
werden.

- Um sicherzustellen, dass die Zuckerwatte gut an dem Stab haftet, muss er am Rand der Schüssel
rotieren. Hierdurch entsteht ein geeigneter Mittelpunkt; rundherum kann sich nun die
Zuckerwatte ausbilden. Nach einiger Zeit beschleunigt das Cotton Candy-Gerät die
Herstellung des Zuckergewebes. Dieses kann sich mühelos rundum den Stab in der Mitte
der Zuckerwatte bilden, indem sich der Stab am oberen Ende der Geräteschüssel dreht.

- Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, wenn es die Bildung eines Zuckergewebes beendet hat.

- Der Messlöffel kann nun erneut mit Zucker gefüllt werden, um noch mehr Zuckerwatte
zuzubereiten. Wenn das Gerät nicht weiter benutzt werden soll, muss der Netzstecker
gezogen werden. Es wird empfohlen, das Gerät vor der Reinigung 15 Minuten lang
abkühlen zu lassen.
