PRINCESS ROYAL WATERKETTLE DE LUXE ART. 232177 VOOR HET GEBRUIK

Deze gebruiksaanwijzing eerst geheel doorlezen en bewaren om later nog eens te kunnen raadplegen. Controleer of de netspanning in de woning overeenkomt met die van het apparaat (230 Volt). Sluit dit apparaat alleen op een geaard stopcontact aan.

De waterkoker is voorzien van een droogkookbeveiliging, een Aan/Uit schakelaar met indicatielampje en een scharnierende deksel. Verder bevat de waterkoker twee kunststof kopjes die in de waterkoker kunnen worden opgeborgen.

GEBRUIK VAN DE WATERKOKER

Gebruik de waterkoker uitsluitend voor het aan de kook brengen van water, niet voor andere vloeistoffen en ook niet voor andere ingrediënten. Kook eerst een volle kan water om de kan te reinigen; gooi dit water weg. Vul de kan altijd met een hoeveelheid water die tussen de minimum- en maximumvulstrepen ligt.

Schakel de kan in door de stekker in het stopcontact te steken en de ‘Aan’ knop ( I ) in te drukken. Het controlelampje gaat aan. Zodra het water kookt, schakelt de waterkoker automatisch weer uit en zal het controlelampje doven. De waterkoker kan ook handmatig worden uitgeschakeld door de ‘Uit’ knop (O) van de waterkoker in te drukken.

Als de waterkoker per abuis droog ingeschakeld wordt, zal de droogkookbeveiliging hem automatisch uitschakelen. Door de waterkoker daarna met water te vullen, zal de droogkookbeveiliging weer afkoelen en kunt u de kan op de normale wijze gebruiken.

LET OP: Vul de waterkoker niet verder dan tot het maatstreepje ‘MAX’, anders kan er kokend water uitgestoten worden.

SCHOONMAKEN

HAAL EERST DE STEKKER UIT HET STOPCONTACT EN LAAT DE KAN AFKOELEN! De buitenkant van de PRINCESS ROYAL WATERKETTLE kan met een vochtige doek afgenomen worden.

ONTKALKEN

Gebruik een ontkalkingsmiddel dat geschikt is voor huishoudelijke apparaten, zoals koffiezetapparaten. Gebruik het middel volgens de aanwijzingen op de verpakking. Schakel de kan niet in tijdens het ontkalken, maar laat het middel koud inweken. Spoel na het ontkalken de kan enige malen om met schoon water.

PRINCESS TIPS

- Plaats het apparaat op een stevig en stabiel oppervlak.

- Dompel de waterkoker nooit in water of andere vloeistof onder.

- De buitenkant van de waterkoker wordt vrij warm. Pak de waterkoker dus alleen bij de handgreep beet.

- Zorg dat het apparaat niet zo dicht bij de rand van tafel, werkblad e.d. staat dat iemand het eraf zou kunnen stoten; zorg ook dat het snoer niet zodanig hangt dat men erover zou kunnen struikelen of erachter kan blijven haken. Bedenk dat de waterkoker gevuld is met heet water!

- Gebruik het apparaat niet als het beschadigd is of als het snoer beschadigd is, maar stuur het dan naar onze servicedienst. Bij dit type toestellen kan een beschadigd snoer uitsluitend met speciaal gereedschap door onze servicedienst vervangen worden.

- Plaats het apparaat niet op of in de directe nabijheid van een hete kookplaat e.d.

- Trek altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact vóór het schoonmaken en bij storingen.

- Zorg ervoor dat kinderen niet met dit apparaat spelen.

- Het is niet zonder gevaar om dit apparaat te laten gebruiken door kinderen of personen met een geestelijke of lichamelijke handicap, of met te weinig ervaring of deskundigheid. De voor de veiligheid van deze gebruikers verantwoordelijke persoon dient ze duidelijke instructies te geven voor of ze te begeleiden bij het gebruik van dit apparaat.

Read these instructions thoroughly first and keep them for future reference. Check whether the voltage in the home corresponds with that of the appliance (230 Volts). Only connect this appliance to an earthed socket.

The kettle comes complete with boil-dry protection, an on/off switch with indicator light and a hinged lid. The kettle also contains two plastic cups that can be conveniently stored in the kettle.

USING THE KETTLE

The kettle should be used exclusively for boiling water; never use it with other liquids or ingredients. First boil a full kettle of water to clean the kettle and discard this water. Always fill the kettle between the minimum and maximum level markers.

To turn the kettle on, plug it in and press the on button ( I ). The indicator lamp will be illuminated. When the water boils, the kettle switches itself off automatically and the indicator light goes out. You can also turn the kettle off by hand by pressing the off button (O).

If the kettle is accidentally switched on when empty, the boil-dry protection will automatically switch it off. Adding water will then cool the boil-dry protection mechanism enabling you to use the kettle as normal.

NOTE: Do not fill the kettle higher than the MAX level indicator or boiling water may spray out.

CLEANING

FIRST REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE SOCKET AND ALLOW THE KETTLE TO COOL. The outside of the PRINCESS ROYAL KETTLE can be wiped down with a damp cloth.

DESCALING

Use a descaling agent suitable for household appliances, such as coffee machines. Follow the instructions on the packaging. Do not switch the kettle on during descaling, but allow the agent to soak in while the kettle is still cool. Rinse the kettle several times with clean water.

PRINCESS TIPS

- Set the kettle on a sturdy, stable surface.

- Never immerse the kettle in water or any other liquid.

- The exterior can become quite hot. Only pick up the kettle using the handle.

- Ensure that the appliance is not so close to the edge of a table, counter top, etc., that someone could knock it over. Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge or on the floor, as someone may become entangled or trip over it. Remember: the kettle contains hot water!

- Do not use the equipment if it is damaged, or if the lead is damaged. Send it to our Service Department. With this type of appliance, a damaged cord should only be replaced by our service department using special tools.

- Do not place the appliance on or directly adjacent to a warm hotplate or other source of heat.

- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or if any fault develops.

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

- The use of this appliance by children or persons with a physical, sensory, mental or motorial disability, or lack of experience and knowledge can give cause to hazards. Persons responsible for their safety should give explicit instructions or supervise the use of the appliance.
