VOOR HET GEBRUIK

Deze gebruiksaanwijzing eerst geheel doorlezen en bewaren om later nog eens te kunnen raadplegen.
Controleer of de netspanning in de woning overeenkomt met die van het apparaat (220-240 Volt). Sluit dit
apparaat alleen op een geaard stopcontact aan.

Deze krachtige, snoerloze waterkoker heeft een verwijderbare filter in de uitschenkopening. De waterkoker
brengt water in enkele minuten aan de kook. Houdt prettig vast door de ergonomische handgreep. De deksel
opent met een scharnier door een druk op de knop: handig en veilig in verband met spatten. Voorzien van
aan/uit-schakelaar met automatische afslag, droogkookbeveiliging, peilglas en indicatielampje.

GEBRUIK VAN DE WATERKOKER

Gebruik de waterkoker uitsluitend voor het aan de kook brengen van water, niet voor andere vloeistoffen
en ook niet voor andere ingrediënten. Kook eerst een volle kan water om de kan te reinigen; gooi dit
water weg.

Vul de kan altijd met een hoeveelheid water die tussen de minimum- en maximumvulstrepen ligt. Bij te
weinig water zal de kan te vroeg uitschakelen, bij te veel kan het water overkoken. Bij het vullen de kan
altijd van de voet nemen, zodat er geen gemorst water in de voet kan lopen.

Schakel de kan in door de aan-/uitschakelaar naar beneden te drukken. Het controlelampje gaat aan.
Zodra het water kookt, springt de aan-/uitschakelaar automatisch terug in de uitstand.

Als de kan per abuis droog ingeschakeld wordt, schakelt de droogkookbeveiliging hem automatisch uit.
Door de kan daarna met water te vullen, koelt de droogkookbeveiliging weer af en kunt u de kan op de
normale wijze gebruiken.

Let op:

• Neem de kan pas van de voet nadat deze automatisch uitgeschakeld is of schakel deze eerst met de
hand uit.

• Vul de kan niet verder dan tot het maatstreepje ‘MAX’, anders kan er kokend water uitgestoten worden.

• Gebruik de waterkoker alleen met de bijbehorende voet.

• Rol het snoer volledig uit, laat dit niet om de voet gerold.

SCHOONMAKEN

HAAL EERST DE STEKKER UIT HET STOPCONTACT EN LAAT DE KAN AFKOELEN!
De buitenkant van de PRINCESS ROYAL CORDLESS WATERKETTLE kan met een vochtige doek
afgenomen worden. De voet dient altijd droog gereinigd te worden.

ONTKALKEN
Gebruik een ontkalkingsmiddel dat geschikt is voor huishoudelijke apparaten, zoals koffiezetapparaten.
Gebruik het middel volgens de aanwijzingen op de verpakking. Schakel de kan niet in tijdens het ontkalken,
maar laat het middel koud inweken. Spoel na het ontkalken de kan enige malen om met schoon water.

PRINCESS-TIPS

- Plaats het toestel op een stevig en stabiel oppervlak.

- Dompel de waterkoker en de voet nooit in water of andere vloeistof onder.

- De buitenkant van de kan wordt vrij warm. Pak de kan dus alleen bij de handgreep beet.

- Zorg dat het apparaat niet zo dicht bij de rand van tafel, werkblad e.d. staat dat iemand
het eraf zou kunnen stoten; zorg ook dat het snoer niet zodanig hangt dat men erover zou
kunnen struikelen of erachter blijven haken. Bedenk dat de kan gevuld is met heet water!

- Plaats het apparaat niet op of in de directe nabijheid van een hete kookplaat e.d.

- Trek altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact vóór het schoonmaken en bij storingen.

- Niet gebruiken als het apparaat of het snoer beschadigd is. Stuur het naar onze
servedienst om risico's te vermijden. Bij dit type apparaat kan een beschadigd snoer
alleen door onze servicedienst worden vervangen met behulp van speciaal gereedschap.

BEFORE USING

Read these instructions thoroughly first and keep them for future reference. Check whether the voltage
in the home corresponds with that of the appliance (220-240 Volts). Only connect this appliance to an
earthed socket.

This powerful cordless water kettle has a removable filter in the spout. The kettle boils water in a matter
of minutes. The ergonomic handle makes it easy to hold. The lid can be opened on a hinge by pressing
the button: a handy and safe protection from the effects of splashing. Comes with an on/off switch that
switches off automatically, boil-dry protection, water level increments and indicator light.

USING THE KETTLE

The kettle should be used exclusively for boiling water; never use it with other liquids or ingredients.
First boil a full pot of water to clean the pot and discard this water.

Always fill the pot between the minimum and maximum level markers. If insufficient water is used, the
kettle may switch off, with too much water it may boil over. Always remove the pot when filling it to
avoid water dripping into the base.

Switch it on by pushing down the on/off button in the handle. The indicator lamp will be illuminated.
Once the water has boiled, the on/off switch returns automatically to the off position.

If the appliance is accidentally switched on when empty, the boil-dry protection will automatically switch it
off. Adding water will then cool the boil-dry protection mechanism enabling you to use the kettle as normal.

Note:

• Do not remove the pot from its base until it has switched off automatically or you have switched it off
yourself first.

• Do not fill the pot higher than the MAX level indicator or boiling water may spray out.

• The kettle may only be used with the accompanying base.

• The cord should be completely unrolled and not left rolled around the base.

CLEANING

FIRST REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE SOCKET AND ALLOW THE POT TO COOL.
The outside of the PRINCESS ROYAL CORDLESS WATERKETTLE can be wiped down with a damp
cloth. The base should always be cleaned without water.

DESCALING

Use a descaling agent suitable for household appliances, such as coffee machines. Follow the instructions
on the packaging. Do not switch the kettle on during descaling, but allow the agent to soak in while the
kettle is still cool. Rinse the pot several times with clean water.

PRINCESS TIPS

- Set the kettle on a sturdy, stable surface.

- Never immerse the kettle in water or any other liquid.

- The exterior can become quite hot. Only pick up the pot using the handle.

- Ensure that the appliance is not so close to the edge of a table, counter top, etc., that someone could
knock it over. Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge or on the floor, as someone may become
entangled or trip over it. Remember: the appliance contains hot water!

- Do not place the appliance on or directly adjacent to a warm hotplate or other source
of heat.

- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or if any fault develops.

- Do not use the equipment if it is damaged, or if the lead is damaged. Sent it to our
Service Department to avoid a hazard. With this type of appliance, a damaged cord
should only be replaced by our Service Department using special tools.

U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE
GREEN/YELLOW EARTH

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour
markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter E or and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW

Lisez attentivement ce mode d'emploi et conservez-le afin de pouvoir le consulter ultérieurement si
nécessaire. Assurez-vous que le voltage de votre logement correspond à celui indiqué sur l'appareil
(220-240 volts). Raccordez l’appareil uniquement à une prise de terre.

Cette bouilloire sans fil est équipée d’un filtre amovible intégré dans l’orifice du verseur. La bouilloire
permet de faire bouillir de l’eau en quelques minutes. Se tient bien en main grâce à sa poignée
ergonomique. Le couvercle articulé s’ouvre en appuyant sur le bouton : pratique et sûr pour éviter les
éclaboussures. La bouilloire est équipée d’un interrupteur marche/arrêt avec arrêt automatique, d’une
protection anti-usage à sec, d’un indicateur de niveau et d’un témoin lumineux.

UTILISATION DE LA BOUILLOIRE

Utiliser la bouilloire uniquement pour faire bouillir de l’eau. Ne pas l’utiliser pour tout autre liquide ou
autres ingrédients. Faire d’abord bouillir une pleine bouilloire pour la nettoyer; ne pas utiliser cette eau.

Toujours remplir la bouilloire de façon à ce que le niveau d’eau arrive entre les traits minimum et
maximum. S’il n’y a pas suffisamment d’eau, la bouilloire s’arrêtera trop tôt et s’il y en a trop, l’eau
pourra déborder. Toujours détacher le récipient de son socle pour le remplir d’eau afin de ne pas renverser
de l’eau à l’intérieur du socle.

Allumez la bouilloire en appuyant sur l’interrupteur Marche/Arrêt. Le témoin lumineux s'allume. Dès que
l’eau bout, la bouilloire s’arrête automatiquement et l’interrupteur revient en position Arrêt.

Si par inadvertance la bouilloire est allumée sans contenir d’eau, le système de sécurité anti-usage à sec
se déclenchera automatiquement pour l’arrêter. Remplissez alors la bouilloire d’eau, ce qui fera refroidir
le dispositif de sécurité, et vous pourrez de nouveau utiliser la bouilloire normalement.

Attention :

• Ne détacher la bouilloire de son socle qu’après l’arrêt automatique ou l’éteindre d’abord
à la main.

• Ne jamais remplir la bouilloire au–delà du niveau “MAX” sinon l’eau bouillante
déborderait.

• Utiliser uniquement cette bouilloire avec le socle fourni.

• Dérouler entièrement le cordon ; ne pas le laisser enrouler sur le socle.

ENLEVEZ D'ABORD LA FICHE DE LA PRISE ET LAISSEZ LA BOUILLOIRE
REFROIDIR !
L’extérieur de la bouilloire PRINCESS ROYAL CORDLESS WATERKETTLE peut être
essuyé avec un chiffon humide. Le socle doit toujours être nettoyé à sec.
