BEFORE USING
Read these instructions thoroughly first and keep them for future reference. Check that your domestic
electricity supply matches that of the appliance. Only connect this appliance to an earthed socket.
The Princess Hot Dog maker can steam a maximum of 6 hot dogs simultaneously, and can heat up 1 bread roll. The appliance has a water container (1), a
beaker (2) in which to steam the hot dogs and a heated rod (3) to heat up the
bread roll.
Set the PRINCESS HOT DOG MAKER on a sturdy, stable table or counter
where it cannot be easily knocked over.
BEFORE USING
FIRST UNPLUG THE CORD FROM THE SOCKET
First wash the lid and the beaker in a warm solution, let them soak for a while. Then dry them thoroughly.
The casing and the heating element can be cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge.
NEVER SUBMERGE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID!
HOW TO USE THE HOT DOG MAKER
Position the appliance in a dry and safe place. Put the correct amount of cold water in the water container. The maximum amount of water that can be added is stated on the inside of the container.
Position the beaker on the container. Put the hot dogs in the beaker. Insert the plug into the electrical outlet and turn the appliance on. You are advised not to put more than six hot dogs in the beaker at one time.
Boil the hot dogs for 6 to 8 minutes.
Note: after using the appliance, the hot dogs and the heated rod are very hot.
Don’t forget to disconnect the appliance after use.
HOW TO HEAT UP A BREAD ROLL
While the hot dogs are steaming you can heat up the bread rolls. Push the bread roll in a circular motion
onto the heating element and leave it for a few minutes to warm.
Ensure that the bread roll is hot before you remove it from the element.
Place the hot dog in the bread roll and enjoy a delicious hot dog.
PRINCESS TIPS
- Do not touch any hot parts.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Do not overfill the water container. This is to prevent the water from boiling over.
- This appliance is not suitable for use by children. Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use.
- Tell young children that the appliance is not a toy.
- Ensure that the appliance is not so close to the edge of the table or work surface that someone could
knock it off. Also, ensure that the cord is not trailing where someone could trip over it. Remember: the
appliance contains hot water!
- Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or if the cable is damaged. Instead, send it to our service
department. With this type of appliance, a damaged cable should only be replaced by our service
department using special tools.
- Do not set the appliance near or directly next to a hot burner, etc.
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or if any fault develops.
- This appliance is intended for normal household use.
- Do not use this appliance outdoors.
