Lees deze instructies zorgvuldig voor gebruik en bewaar ze, zodat u ze later nog eens kunt raadplegen.
De PRINCESS NICE PRICE SANDWICHMAKER is ideaal om snel een smakelijke totsi's met bijvoorbeeld
kaas en/of ham te maken. De antiaanbaklaag op de bakplaten voorkomt aanbakken en is zo weer schoon.
Dankzij de controlelampjes en de automatische thermostaat is de PRINCESS NICE PRICE SANDWICH
MAKER een praktisch en makkelijk hanteerbaar apparaat.
Wij raden u aan om voor het eerste gebruik de bakplaten met een vochtige doek te reinigen en eventuele
labels te verwijderen.

GEBRUIKSTIPS

Vet de bakplaten lichtjes in met boter, braadvet, olie of iets dergelijks. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact
(het lampje gaat branden) en sluit de PRINCESS NICE PRICE SANDWICH MAKER. Het duurt enkele
minuten voordat het apparaat opgewarmd is. Gedurende deze tijd kunt u de ingrediënten van de tosti
alvast klaarleggen. Zodra de platen op temperatuur zijn, gaat het lampje uit. Open nu de PRINCESS
NICE PRICE SANDWICH MAKER en leg de sandwich op de gebruikelijke manier op de onderste grillplaat,
dus eerst een boterham, dan het beleg en ten slotte nog een boterham. Sluit het apparaat (druk de platen
hierbij niet te stevig op elkaar) en vergrendel de grillplaten met de clip om de handgreep. Maak de tosti's
alleen als het apparaat gesloten is.
Bij het sluiten van het tostiapparaat kan wat stoom vrijkomen. Wees voorzichtig dat u zich hieraan niet
brandt. Na ongeveer 2 à 3 minuten is de tosti klaar. Natuurlijk kunt u met de baktijd experimenteren voor
het beste resultaat.
NB: Tijdens het toasten knippert het lampje. Dat is normaal. Het betekent dat de thermostaat normaal
werkt.
Zodra de tosti klaar is, kunt u het tostiapparaat openen en de tosti er uitnemen, eventueel met behulp van
een houten of kunststof spatel. Gebruik nooit metalen spatels e.d. om beschadiging van de antiaanbaklaag
te voorkomen.
Indien u nog meer tosti's wilt maken, kunt u het tostiapparaat dichtgeklapt laten staan, zodat deze op
temperatuur blijft. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer het apparaat niet meer gebruikt wordt.

SCHOONMAKEN

HAAL EERST DE STEKKER UIT HET STOPCONTACT
Maak het tostiapparaat na ieder gebruik schoon. Dit voorkomt dat voedselresten vastkoeken. Laat de
PRINCESS NICE PRICE SANDWICH MAKER na gebruik eerst afkoelen. Giet nooit koud water op de
grillplaten. Dit zou het apparaat beschadigen en geeft risico op spatten van heet water. Gebruik geen
schurende of agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen.
DOMPEL DE SANDWICH MAKER NOOIT ONDER IN WATER OF EEN ANDERE VLOEISTOF.
Reinig de grillplaten met keukenpapier. Moeilijk te verwijderen resten kunt u eerst losweken met wat
bakolie (even 5 minuten laten inweken). De buitenzijde kunt u met een vochtige doek afnemen.

PRINCESS-TIPS

- Dit apparaat is alleen geschikt voor huishoudelijk gebruik.

- Plaats het (verleng)snoer ver weg van kookplaten en op zo'n manier dat niemand erover kan struikelen.

- Bij dit type apparaat kan een beschadigd snoer alleen met behulp van speciaal gereedschap door onze
servicedienst worden vervangen.

- Gebruik dit apparaat niet buitenshuis.

- Houdt goed toezicht op de toaster als kinderen erbij kunnen. De platen en de behuizing kunnen name­lijk erg heet worden. Wees zelf natuurlijk ook voorzichtig. Laat het apparaat helemaal afkoelen voordat
u het opbergt.

- Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een geaard stopcontact.

- Zorg ervoor dat kinderen niet met dit apparaat spelen.

- Het is niet zonder gevaar om dit apparaat te laten gebruiken door kinderen of personen
met een geestelijke of lichamelijke handicap, of met te weinig ervaring of deskundigheid.
De voor de veiligheid van deze gebruikers verantwoordelijke persoon dient ze duidelijke
instructies te geven voor of ze te begeleiden bij het gebruik van dit apparaat.

- Het apparaat is niet bedoeld om te worden bediend met een externe timer of een
afzonderlijke afstandsbediening.

Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for later reference.
The PRINCESS NICE PRICE SANDWICH MAKER is ideal for making quick and tasty toasted sandwiches,
with ham, cheese or other ingredients. The non-stick coating on the plates prevents sticking and is easy to
clean. The indicator lights and the automatic thermostat make the PRINCESS NICE PRICE SANDWICH
MAKER a highly practical appliance.
Before using the appliance for the first time, we recommend that you clean the plates and remove any stickers.

TIPS FOR USE

Grease the plates slightly with butter, lard, oil or something similar. Put the plug into the socket (The light
will come on) and close the PRINCESS NICE PRICE SANDWICH MAKER. It will take several minutes
to heat up. You can use this time to prepare the sandwich. When the plates reach the correct temperature,
the light will go out. Now open the PRINCESS NICE PRICE SANDWICH MAKER and place the sandwich
in the usual way on the lower plate, i.e. first the bread, then the filling, then another piece of bread. Close
the sandwich maker (do not press the plates against each other too vigorously) and use the clip on the
handle to lock the plates in position. Always keep the appliance closed when making sandwiches.
When the sandwich maker is closed, some smoke may be emitted. Take care this does not burn you. After
2-3 minutes, the sandwich is ready; you can of course experiment with the cooking time to achieve the
perfect result.
Note: during cooking, the light will flicker. This is normal and shows that the thermostat is working properly.
When the sandwich is ready, you can open the sandwich maker and remove the sandwich, using a wooden
or plastic spatula if required. Do not use metal implements as these could damage the non-stick coating.
If you wish to make more sandwiches, you can keep the sandwich maker closed to keep it at the right
temperature. Remove the plug from the socket when the sandwich maker is not in use.

CLEANING

FIRST UNPLUG THE CORD FROM THE SOCKET
Clean the sandwich maker after each use to prevent leftover food from sticking. Let the PRINCESS NICE
PRICE SANDWICH MAKER cool down after use. Never pour cold water on the plates as this can dama­ge the sandwich maker and cause hot water spattering. Do not use abrasive or strong detergents.
NEVER IMMERSE THE SANDWICH MAKER IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
Clean the plates using kitchen paper. Soak stubborn leftovers with cooking oil first and leave to dissolve
for 5 minutes. The outside of the base can be wiped down with a damp cloth.

PRINCESS TIPS

- This sandwich maker is only suitable for household use.

- Make sure that the cord, or extension cord if necessary, is placed where no one can stumble over it and
away from the hotplates.

- With this type of appliance, a damaged cable should only be replaced by our service department using
special tools.

- Do not use this sandwich maker outdoors.

- Ensure children do not use the sandwich maker unsupervised. The plates and the metal exterior can get
very hot. Of course be careful yourself, as well. Allow the toaster to cool down completely before
tidying it away.

- Plug this appliance only into an earthed outlet.

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

- The use of this appliance by children or persons with a physical, sensory, mental or motorial disability,
or lack of experience and knowledge can give cause to hazards. Persons responsible for their safety
should give explicit instructions or supervise the use of the appliance.

- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.

U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE
GREEN/YELLOW EARTH

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour markings
identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:

The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or
coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L
or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter E or and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW

If a 13Amp (BS1363) plug is used, a 13Amp (BS1362) fuse must be fitted, or if any other type of plug is
used, a 13Amp fuse must be fitted, either in the plug or adaptor, or on the Distribution Board.

Le PRINCESS NICE PRICE SANDWICH MAKER est idéal pour préparer rapidement de délicieux
croque-monsieur au jambon, au fromage ou avec d’autres ingrédients. Le revêtement antiadhésif des plaques
empêche les aliments d'attacher et est facile à nettoyer. Doté de voyants lumineux et d’un thermostat
automatique, le PRINCESS NICE PRICE SANDWICH MAKER est un appareil extrêmement pratique.
Il est recommandé de nettoyer les plaques avant d’utiliser l'appareil pour la première fois et, le cas
échéant, d’enlever les autocollants.

CONSEILS D’UTILISATION

Graissez légèrement les plaques avec du beurre, du saindoux, de l’huile ou autre matière grasse équivalente.
Branchez la fiche dans la prise de courant (le voyant s’allume) et fermez le PRINCESS NICE PRICE
SANDWICH MAKER. Laissez chauffer l'appareil quelques minutes. Pendant ce temps, vous pouvez préparer
le sandwich. Le voyant s’éteint lorsque les plaques ont atteint la bonne température. Ouvrez à présent
votre PRINCESS NICE PRICE SANDWICH MAKER et posez le sandwich sur la plaque inférieure, en
disposant d'abord une tranche de pain, puis la garniture puis une autre tranche de pain par-dessus.
Refermez l’appareil (sans appuyer trop fort sur les plaques) et maintenez les plaques en position fermée à
l’aide du crochet inclus dans la poignée. L’appareil doit toujours rester fermé pendant la préparation du
croque-monsieur.
De la fumée peut s’échapper de l’appareil lorsqu’il est fermé. Attention à ne pas vous brûler. Le croque­monsieur est prêt au bout de 2 à 3 minutes ; il vous faudra peut-être essayer différents temps de cuisson
afin d’obtenir le meilleur résultat.
Remarque : pendant la cuisson, le voyant lumineux s’allume et s’éteint en alternance. Ceci est normal et
indique que le thermostat fonctionne correctement.
Lorsque votre croque-monsieur est prêt, ouvrez l’appareil et retirez-le à l’aide d’une spatule en bois ou en
plastique. N’utilisez pas d’ustensiles en métal car cela risquerait d’endommager le revêtement antiadhésif
des plaques.
Si vous désirez faire d’autres croque-monsieur, laissez l’appareil fermé afin de conserver la chaleur.
Débranchez toujours l’appareil de la prise lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé.

ENTRETIEN

TOUJOURS D’ABORD DÉBRANCHER LE CORDON DE LA PRISE
Nettoyer l'appareil à croque-monsieur après chaque utilisation afin d’empêcher des restes
d’attacher. Laisser le PRINCESS NICE PRICE SANDWICH MAKER refroidir après
l'emploi. Ne jamais verser d’eau froide sur les plaques car cela risquerait d’endommager
l’appareil et de faire gicler de l’eau brûlante. Ne pas utiliser de détergents abrasifs.
NE JAMAIS PLONGER L’APPAREIL DANS L’EAU NI DANS TOUT AUTRE LIQUIDE.
Nettoyer les plaques avec du papier essuie-tout. Pour enlever les restes d’aliments qui attachent,
les dissoudre d’abord avec de l’huile de cuisson (laisser agir pendant 5 minutes). Essuyer
les parois extérieures de l’appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon humide.
