Important SafeguardS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Make sure that your mains voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the specication
sticker of the Sandwich-Toaster.
3. Always unplug from mains socket when not in use and before cleaning.
4. Do not immerse appliance, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
5. Do not operate the Sandwich-Toaster with a damaged cord or plug, or in abnormal
state. If its main cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the nearest Regional Service
Centre/Authorised Service Centre.
6. Do not use any additional accessories that are not recommended by the company. It
may result in re, electric shock and/or personal injury.
7. Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch any hot surface.
8. To disconnect, remove plug from the wall outlet. Always hold the plug. Never pull the
cord.

9. Do not use the appliance for uses other than its intended use and always place it in a
dry area.
10. Do not leave the Sandwich-Toaster unattended while it is in operation.
11. Do not touch any hot surface. Use handle only.
12. Always place the appliance on a table or at surface when operating.
13. ere are no parts in your Sandwich-Toaster that are serviceable by the user.
Unauthorized dismantling or servicing will void the product warranty.
14. Oversize foods, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in the SandwichToaster as they may cause re or electric shock.
15. Do not attempt to dislodge the bread slice when Sandwich-Toaster is in operation.
16. Sandwich-Toaster must not be used near or below curtains and other combustible
materials. Close supervision is necessary when children are around.

how to uSe Your preStIge SandwIch-maKer
Note :e model PCMFS can be used to make Toasted/Grilled Sandwiches simultaneously.
1. Plug the power cord into the mains socket. e red lamp will be lit.
2. Before inserting the bread slice in to the Sandwich-Toaster, please preheat the appliance
until the green (ready) light is on. When the green light is on this means that the
temperature has reached the pre-determined set temperature level. Usually it takes a few
minutes.
3. Take two bread slices and add the desired lling between the slices. Always add the
lling to ensure optimum toasting.
4. e bread slices must be coated with butter on the sides which will be in contact with
the inner lower plate and the upper plate of the toaster.
5. After pre-heat, open the sandwich toaster and place the bread slices with the lling
between the inner lower plate and the upper plate of the toaster so that the buttered
sides are in contact with these plates.
6. Close the Sandwich-Toaster slowly by pressing gently and make sure that it is closed
properly and clipped.
7. e green light will turn o after few seconds.

8. e green light will glow once again after the toasting is over.
9. Open the Sandwich-Toaster and take out the sandwich. If you prefer this to be more
toasted close the Sandwich-Toaster once again then let the sandwich toast further.
10. e Sandwich-Toaster can also be stopped at any time by unplugging the power cord out
of the power outlet.
Caution:
1. It is dicult to close the toaster if the lling is too much. Do not try to close the SandwichToaster by pressing it too hard. Instead, reduce the lling in your Sandwich-Toaster or
make sure that the bread slices are fully covered by the Sandwich-Toaster plates and they do
not exceed the periphery of the plates. Otherwise, you may cause damage to the appliance
and to the non-stick coating of the plates as well.
2. When you take the bread out of the Sandwich-Toaster, do not use sharp instruments (like
metal knife, fork etc.). You should always use a heat resistant plastic or wooden spatula to
prevent damage to the non-stick coating.

cleanIng and maIntenance
1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains outlet.
2. Let the appliance to completely cool down before you proceed.
3. Do Not immerse the sandwich toaster in water or clean the appliance in running water.
4. Wipe the exterior surface with a soft, dry cloth. Never use scouring pads.
5. If your Sandwich-Toaster is used frequently, accumulated bread crumbs should be
removed regularly or at least once a week. Make sure that any possible food leftovers
or crumbs are completely removed before using the Sandwich-Toaster again.
6. Never attempt to remove loaves that have jammed in the plates without unplugging
the Sandwich-Toaster from the mains. Please take extra care to avoid possible damage
to the non-stick coating of the plates when removing bread loaves/slices.
7. Clean the interior non stick surface with a soft damp cloth and then wipe it thoroughly
with dry cloth.

Prestige {hereinafter referred to as the Company} warrants to the purchaser of “Prestige
Sandwich-Toaster”, {hereinafter referred to as Prestige Sandwich-Toaster} that the said
Prestige Sandwich- Toaster is free from all defects in material and workmanship. is
warranty is valid for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, subject to the
following terms and conditions:-
1) e warranty card is to be completed, signed by the dealer immediately on purchase.
2) e Prestige Sandwich-Toaster is only to be serviced by the Company Regional Service
Centre or by its Authorised Service Centre (addresses listed in this manual).
3) e customer shall carry the Prestige Sandwich-Toaster to the nearest Company
Regional Service Centre/Authorised Service Centre at his/her own cost and risk.
4) e Company shall make all endeavours/attempts to carry out the Service/Replacement
under this Warranty at the earliest, but shall not be liable to do so within any specied
time.
5) e Warranty will continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of
the original Warranty, in regard to the Repair/Replacement of parts of the Prestige
Sandwich-Toaster.

6) e Prestige Sandwich-Toaster shall be used strictly for domestic purposes in accordance
with the user’s manual.
7) e Company shall not be held liable for any accident, loss or damage (direct or indirect)
to person or property caused by reason of:
a) Repairs/Service attended by unauthorised service person.
b) Over-loading/Misuse/abuse or/and negligence on the part of the person.
c) Defects caused by improper/reckless use.
d) Use of spurious spares/old, non-genuine spares.
e) Failure to comply with any safety precaution or maintenance tip suggested by the
Company.
f ) Original serial number is deleted/defaced or altered.
8) e Company shall not be responsible for any special consequential damages or loss
arising directly or indirectly for any delay in the performance of this Warranty.
9) e Company reserves the right to retain any part or component at the Regional
Service Centre/branches or Authorised Service Centre or at its workshop and shall
eect Repairs/Replacement or parts or components at its sole discretion.
10) is Warranty shall not in any case extend towards payment or any monetary
consideration whatsoever, and shall be only limited to the product replacement.

11) Electrical parts are not covered under the warranty terms as they are subject to wear
and tear. Replacement of these parts is chargeable.
12) Electrical appliances, wire points need regular check up by an authorised service
person.
13) Electrical appliances are prone to voltage uctuation risks, therefore precaution should
be taken before use. Company shall not be responsible for any damage to electrical
parts, arising out of this problem.
14) For repairs after the expiry of the warranty period, the authorised service centre will
levy a charge (based on the MRP) for the component replaced.
15) e decision of the company is nal in all cases of complaints.
16) Any complaints/disputes shall be within the jurisdiction of the Courts of Bangalore.
