ensure t hat children are m onitored at all tim es and that the s wimming poo l has adequate ba rriers to entr y. If a new hazard i s created

determ ine, along with a l icensed contr actor, its suitab ility in a given i nstallation . This pet door i s not a fire door. It is imp ortant for th e
owner an d contractor to co nsider any ris ks that may be pre sent inside o r outside of the p et door and any r isks that may be c reated by
subse quent change s to the proper ty and how they m ay relate to the exis tence and use, inc luding misus e, of the pet door.

• Be sure to us e heavy scis sors for cut ting the core cov ers. If cuttin g a metal surf ace, be aware of shar p edges to preve nt injury.

• It is not po ssible to cut hole s in tempered o r double pane gla ss except at the tim e of manufact ure. Consult a pro fessional gl azier or
glass m anufacture r to install the pe t door in a glass d oor or window.

• Keep thes e instruct ions, and ens ure they are tran sferred to any n ew owner of the p roperty.

• If the mou nting surfa ce (door, wall, et c.) is not leve l, the pet door m ust still be ins talled level to sw ing properly.

• When app lying cuttin g template there s hould be a minimu m of 3 in. betwee n the bottom and s ides of the doo r and the outer ed ge
of the temp late to maintain the s tructural i ntegrity of th e door.

• Use a manu al screwdri ver to tighten scre ws. Do not over tighten. Ove rtightenin g can strip the sc rews or warp th e pet door fram e.
