CONECTAR Y ALINEAR EL TRANSMISOR

Importante: Coloque el transmisor mínimo a 1 metro de distancia de otros dispositivos electrónicos
para evitar interferencias. Coloque la sección superior del transmisor hacia al bebé o hacia el objeto que
desea monitorear. Verifique que el bebé o el objeto se vea correctamente en el receptor.

USO CON BATERÍAS

Utilice un destornillador para abrir el compartimiento de las baterías en la parte inferior. Inserte las
baterías teniendo en cuenta la polaridad. El transmisor funciona con 4 baterías AAA. Las baterías no
están incluidas). El transmisor no puede ser cargado. Introduzca las baterías antes de conectar el
conector del adaptador.

Si las baterías tienen poca energía, el LED de encendido parpadeará. Las baterías deben ser
reemplazadas.

USO CON EL ADAPTADOR

USO CON BATERÍAS RECARGABLE

1. Abra el compartimiento de las batería en el lado posterior del receptor.

2. Introduzca la batería y conéctela al tomacorriente.

3. Cierre el compartimiento.

El receptor recibe energía de una batería de Litio-ion de 3.7V, 1500 mAh. La batería recargable puede
ser recargada directamente en el receptor cuando se inserta en la estación de carga. El LED de
encendido se enciende cuando el receptor se carga. Cuando la batería tenga poca energía, el LED de
encendido parpadeará lentamente. Recargue la batería.

CLIP DE CINTURÓN

Apalanque el cierre con una herramienta adecuada (como un destornillador) un poco lejos del chasis y
mueva el clip del cinturón hacia abajo simultáneamente. Para colocar el clip del cinturón, deslícelo en la
guía hacia la parte superior hasta que encaje.

OPTIMIZACIÓN DEL RANGO

Las unidades del bebé y del padre traen antenas abatibles. Se puede lograr un alcance óptimo
extendiendo las antenas verticalmente.

OPERACIÓN DEL TRANSMISOR

Importante: Verifique que el transmisor y el receptor funcionen adecuadamente cada vez antes de
utilizar el equipo.

ENCENDER Y APAGAR EL TRANSMISOR

Coloque el transmisor en una buena posición para el monitoreo de las tareas requeridas y alinee el
lente de la cámara en el área que va a monitorear.

Coloque el interruptor en la posición de encendido. La luz LED se enciende. El transmisor está listo
para operar. Para apagar la unidad, coloque el interruptor en la posición de apagado.

VISIÓN NOCTURNA

El transmisor cuenta con 6 diodos infrarrojos. Esto permite la transmisión de imágenes desde áreas que
no están iluminadas. La función de visión nocturna se activa cuando los condiciones de luz lo ameritan.

Cuando la visión nocturna se activa, la pantalla cambia a blanco y negro.

OPERACIÓN DEL RECEPTOR

ENCENDER Y APAGAR

Presione y mantenga el botón de encender/apagar hasta que aparezca el logo y luego la imagen
transmitida. Presione nuevamente para apagar.

VOLUMEN

Utilice los botones de volumen para aumentar o disminuir el volumen. La unidad cuenta con cinco
niveles.

BRILLO

Presione el botón de menú. Aparecerá el ícono de un sol. Utilice los botones + y – para ajustar el brillo.
La unidad cuenta con cinco niveles.

TEMPERATURA

En la esquina inferior derecha se puede observar la temperatura de la habitación del bebé.

Importante: La temperatura ideal de la habitación del bebé para dormir es de 16 a 18ºC.

Presione el botón de menú dos veces. Aparecerá un ícono de temperatura en la pantalla. Utilice los
botones +/- para ajustar la temperatura.

AJUSTE DE TEMPERATURA

Usted puede ajustar el límite superior e inferior de temperatura en el monitor. La unidad emitirá una
alerta si la temperatura se sale de este rango.

Presione el botón de menú tres veces para ajustar el límite inferior o cuatro veces para ajustar el límite
superior. Aparecerá el ícono Alto / Bajo. Utilice los botones +/- para ajustar las temperaturas. Límite
inferior: apagado, 12, 15, 18 / límite superior: 20, 23, 26, apagado.

ENCENDER Y APAGAR LA LUZ NOCTURNA

Presione el botón cinco veces. Aparecerá el ícono de luz nocturna. Utilice los botones +/- para encender
o apagar el transmisor.

ENCENDER Y APAGAR LA ALARMA DE VIBRACIÓN

Presione el botón de menú seis veces. Aparecerá el ícono de vibración. Utilice los botones +/- para
encender y apagar la alarma. Cuando la alarma de vibración se active, el receptor vibra cuando capta
un sonido en la habitación muy fuerte de tal forma que los indicadores LED de sonido de color rojo se
enciendan.

AJUSTAR LA SENSIBILIDAD VOX

(VOX = Transmisión Operada Por Voz = Detección del Sonido)
Esta función de detección de sonido hace que el sistema comience a transmitir automáticamente del
transmisor al receptor y de forma inmediata cuando se detecte una voz o un sonido.

Presione el botón de menú siete veces. Aparece el ícono “vox” en la pantalla. Utilice estos botones para
apagar esta función o para ajustar la sensibilidad en uno de los cinco niveles (1 es la sensibilidad más
baja y 5 la más alta). Una vez elija uno de estos cinco niveles el ícono de “vox” se enciende en la
pantalla.

Nota: Si el receptor se coloca con el cargador la pantalla se apagará aproximadamente después de un
minuto de inactividad, pero se encenderá de nuevo si se activa el detector “vox” en el transmisor o
presionando cualquier botón en el receptor. Sin embargo, si la función “vox” se apaga, la pantalla
permanecerá siempre prendida.

CAMBIO DE AUDIO Y VIDEO

Usted puede apagar manualmente la pantalla para ahorrar energía de la batería. El sonido de la
habitación del bebé se puede escuchar permanentemente y la pantalla se encenderá automáticamente
si se activa el detector “vox”.

Presione el botón de menú de forma corta. Para encender la pantalla presione de nuevo este botón de
forma corta.

ZOOM

Presione y mantenga el botón de menú por unos 2 segundos. La función de zoom se activará. Usted
puede mover la selección, siempre y cuando las cuatro flechas se muestran en la pantalla (cerca de 5
segundos), presionando los botones derecha/izquierda y arriba/abajo. Para desactivar la función de
zoom presione y mantenga este botón de nuevo por unos 2 segundos.

CANCIÓN DE CUNA

Presione el botón de canción de cuna. Aparecerá en pantalla el ícono musical de canción de cuna.
Utilice los botones arriba/abajo para seleccionar una de las cinco canciones. Presione de nuevo el
botón de canción de cuna para apagarla.

INTERCOMUNICADOR

Presione y mantenga el botón de intercomunicador. Aparecerá el ícono de intercomunicador en la
pantalla. Hable al micrófono para hablar con la persona en la otra unidad. Al presionar este botón se
cancela la canción de cuna.

RANGO

Cuando la distancia entre el transmisor y el receptor sea muy grande, se mostrará el mensaje “fuera de
rango” y usted escuchará un bip. Mueva el receptor cerca del transmisor. Si es necesario, se puede
lograr un rango óptimo extendiendo verticalmente ambas antenas.

REGISTRO

Al recibir la unidad el transmisor está pre-registrado con el receptor. Si necesita agregar otra cámara al
sistema, se puede llevar a cabo un registro manual.

1. Apague el transmisor. Retire las baterías del receptor por unos segundos si es necesario.

2. Encienda el receptor.

3. Presione y mantenga el botón de registro hasta que aparezca el mensaje C1 en pantalla.

4. Utilice los botones +/- para seleccionar la cámara deseada: C1, C2, C3, C4.

5. Presione el botón de menú de manera corta. El LED de enlace parpadeará unos 10 segundos.
Durante este tiempo usted debe hacer los pasos 6 y 7.

6. Encienda el transmisor.

7. Presione el botón de registro en la parte posterior del transmisor.
Después de poco tiempo el video del transmisor se verá en la pantalla
lo cual indica que el registro ha sido exitoso. Si el registro falla, el
mensaje “fuera de rango” aparecerá en pantalla.

APÉNDICE

USO DE LA UNIDAD

Este sistema de vigilancia ha sido desarrollado para monitorear habitaciones. El transmisor envía una
señal acústica y una de video desde el punto de instalación al receptor. No utilice la unidad para otros
propósitos. El uso de esta unidad no substituye la supervisión personal.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

• No coloque el transmisor en la cama o en el corralito.

• Asegúrese de que el transmisor y el cable de poder estén fuera del alcance del bebé. Se

recomienda mínimo 1 metro de distancia.

• Asegúrese de que los componentes estén bien ventilados al utilizarlos. No los cubra con un cojín,

una toalla u otros dispositivos.

• El lugar de instalación juega un papel importante para asegurar la operación adecuada. Por lo tanto,

mantenga un distancia de al menos un metro de otros equipos electrónicos para evitar
interferencias.

• Prevenga la exposición excesiva al humo, el polvo, la vibración, los químicos, la humedad, el calor y

los rayos directos del sol.

• No utilice equipos médicos cerca de la unidad.

• Deseche la unidad siguiendo las normas de su localidad.

• No intente reparar la unidad usted mismo. Remita toda revisión, mantenimiento y reparación a

personal de servicio técnico calificado.

ADAPTADOR

Utilice únicamente el adaptador que se suministra con la unidad para evitar daños el sistema de
vigilancia. Al utilizar el equipo con el adaptador asegúrese de que el cable y el enchufe estén en
perfectas condiciones.

BATERÍAS RECARGABLES

• Utilice únicamente baterías del mismos tipo.

• Tenga en cuenta la polaridad al colocarlas.

• No arroje las baterías al fuego.

• En caso de presentarse una falla eléctrica, la unidad funcionará con las baterías.

RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

Esta lista es para ayudarle a resolver problemas simples que pueden presentarse en el uso del
producto. Por favor léala y verifique estos puntos antes de solicitar ayuda de personal de servicio
técnico autorizado.

PROBLEMA

El equipo no funciona

Revise que el transmisor y el receptor estén encendidos.
Las baterías pueden haberse agotado.
El adaptador no está conectado.

No hay recepción de la señal

El transmisor y el receptor no se han registrado.
El transmisor está muy lejos del objeto que se monitorea.

El receptor y el transmisor están muy lejos.
La sensibilidad de la función “vox” es muy baja.

Hay interferencia en la recepción

El receptor y el transmisor están muy lejos.
Las baterías están bajas.
Hay otros dispositivos que causan interferencia en el
campo de transmisión.

Hay sonidos como pitidos (feedback)

El receptor y el transmisor están muy cerca entre sí.
Aumenta la distancia entre ellos.
Reduzca el volumen del receptor.

Hay ruido

Las baterías están bajas.

Hay imagen pero no transmisión de sonido

El volumen es bajo.

La imagen se ve en blanco y negro

Se ha activado el modo de visión nocturna.

Connecting and aligning the transmitter

Attention: Position the transmitter with a minimum distance of 1 m to

other electronic devices, otherwise there is a risk of mutual disturbance.
Point the upper section of the transmitter towards the baby or object you want to monitor. Check
that the baby or object is suitably displayed on the receiver.

Operating with batteries (not supplied)
Use a small screwdriver to open the transmitter’s battery compartment
on the underside.
Insert the batteries, paying attention to correct polarity. Refer to the
diagrams in the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment
again.

The transmitter is operated by means of 4 AAA Alkaline batteries (not contained in the material
supplied). The transmitter cannot be charged.
Insert the batteries before connecting the power adapter plug.

In the case of a low battery charge, the Power LED flashes slowly. The batteries must be
replaced.
Operating with a power adapter plug
Connect the transmitter as illustrated in the diagram. For safety reasons, only use the power
adapter plug supplied.

otherwise there is a risk of mutual disturbance.

Operation with rechargeable batteries

1. Open the battery compartment on the rear side of the receiver.

2. Insert the battery pack, and connect it with the socket. The connector can only be fitted one

way.

3. Close the battery compartment again.

The receiver is powered by a a Lithium-ion battery pack of 3.7 V, 1500 mAh. The rechargeable
battery pack can be recharged directly in the receiver when it is inserted in the charging station.
The Power LED lights up when the receiver is being charged. In the case of a low battery
charge, the Power LED flashes slowly. The battery pack must then be
recharged.

Mounting/dismounting the belt clip

Prize the latch (see figure) with a suitable tool (such as a small
screwdriver) a little bit away from the chassis and move the belt clip
down simultaneously. To attach the belt clip slide it into the guide
towards the top until it snaps in.

Optimization of range

Baby unit and parent unit come with fold-out antennas. If
necessary, optimum range can be achieved if both the Baby
unit and Parent unit antennas are extended vertically.

OPERATING THE TRANSMITTER

Switching the transmitter on/off Position the transmitter

in a good position for the monitoring tasks required and align
the camera lens to the area to be monitored.
Slide the switch to ON. The Power LED lights up.
The transmitter is now ready to operate.
To switch the unit off, slide the switch to OFF.

In the case of a low battery voltage, the Power LED flashes slowly.
In this event replace the 4 x AAA batteries with fresh alkaline cells.

Connecting and aligning the transmitter

Attention: Position the transmitter with a minimum distance of 1 m to other electronic devices,
otherwise there is a risk of mutual disturbance. Point the upper section of the transmitter towards
the baby or object you want to monitor. Check that the baby or object is suitably displayed
on the receiver.

Night vision

The transmitter is equipped with 6 infrared diodes. This enables the transmission of pictures
from areas which are not illuminated. The night vision function is activated automatically when
the light conditions make it necessary.

When the night−time vision function is activated, the screen display on the receiver turns to
black and white.

OPERATING THE RECEIVER

Check the transmitter and receiver are working properly each time before the equipment is put i

Press and hold this button until the logo appears first then the image being taken by the
transmitter camera.

Press and hold the button for approx. 1 second to switch the unit off.

In the case of a low battery charge, the Power LED flashes slowly. Place the receiver in the

Press the button once.

This icon appears in the display.

Use these buttons to adjust the brightness to one of five settings.

Temperature option (setting the display unit)

In the lower right hand corner the temperature in the baby’s room is shown.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION The ideal temperature for a baby to sleep is 16ºC - 18ºC. Please
set or adjust the room temperature accordingly.

Press the button twice.

Use these buttons to set temperature measurement to ºC or ºF.

Temperature option (setting the range)

You can adjust the upper and lower limit for the temperature monitor. An alert will occur if the
temperature becomes outside the preset temperature range.

Press the button three times (lower limit) or four times (upper limit).

This icon appears with the current setting in the display (Lo = lower limit / Hi =

upper limit).

Use these buttons to adjust the limits (lower limit Off, 12, 15, 18 / upper limit: 20, 23, 26,

Off). When set to “Off” the temperature monitoring is deactivated.

Switching the night light on/off

Press the button five times.

This icon appears in the display.

Use these buttons to switch the night light on the transmitter on or off.

Switching the vibration alarm on/off

Press the button six times.
This icon appears in the display.
Use these buttons to switch the vibration alarm on or off.
When the vibration alarm is activated, the receiver vibrates when sounds in the room being
monitored are so loud that the red Sound Level LEDs are activated.

Adjusting the VOX sensitivity

(VOX: Voice Operated Transmission = Sound detection)
The VOX function (sound detection) causes the system to start transmitting automatically from
the transmitter to the receiver immediately a voice or
sound is detected.

Press the button seven times.

This icon appears in the display.

Use these buttons to set VOX to OFF or adjust the sensitivity to one of 5 levels (5 =
highest sensitivity). When one of the five levels has been set, the VOX icon lights up in

the display.

• If the receiver is placed on the charger the display will switch off after approx. one minute of

inactivity, but will switch back on if triggered
by the vox detector in the transmitter or by pressing any button on the receiver.
However if VOX is set to OFF, the display will remain on all the time.

Video/Audio switching

You can manually switch off the display to save battery power. The sound from the baby’s room
are to be heard permanently and the display will automatically switch on again if triggered by the
vox detector.

Press this button briefly.

For switching the display on again press this button again briefly.

Setting the zoom

You can zoom in on the image.

Press and hold this button for approx. 2 seconds.

The zoom will be activated. You can move the selection, as long as four arrows are shown in the

display (approx. 5 seconds), by pressing the button to the left, to the right,

upwards or downwards.

To deactivate the zoom function press and hold this button again for approx. 2 seconds.

Selecting a lullaby

Switch on: press the button briefly.

This icon appears in the display.

Use these buttons to select one of the 5 lullabies (1-5).

Switch off: press the button briefly.

Intercom function

Press and hold this button.

This icon appears in the display.
Speak into the microphone to talk with the person near the other unit. When the talking

button is pressed, any playing of lullabies will be aborted.

Range

When the distance between the transmitter and receiver is too far, the message “Out of Range“
appears in the display and you hear a beep. Move the receiver nearer to the transmitter. If
necessary, optimum range can be achieved if both the Baby unit and Parent unit
antennas are extended vertically.

Registration

In delivery state the transmitter is pre−registered at the receiver (Watch&Care V132: both
transmitters).
If necessary or if a another camera is added to the system, registration can also be completed
manually:
1 Switch the transmitter off (switch set to OFF). Remove the batteries of the receiver for a few
seconds if necessary.
2 Switch the receiver on.

3 Press and hold down the button until [C1] appears in the display.
4 Use the buttons to select the desired camera [C1] ... [C4].
5 Press the button briefly. The Link LED flickers for approx. 10 seconds. During this time,

you must perform steps 6 and 7.
6 Switch the transmitter on (switch set to ON).
7 Press the registration key on the back side of the transmitter.
After a short time the video from the transmitter will appear on the screen if the registration was
successful. If the registration failed, “Out of Range“ appears on the screen.

Safety Information

Please read this operating instruction manual thoroughly.

Intended use

The surveillance system has been developed to monitor rooms. The transmitter sends acoustic
and video signals from its point of installation to the receiver. Any other use is considered
unintended use.
The use of this equipment does not substitute personal supervision, e.g. of a child. Users are not
relieved of their personal liability. Unauthorised modification or reconstruction is not permitted.
Under no circumstances open the device or complete any repair work yourself.

Installation location and safety information

• Never lay the transmitter in a baby’s/child’s bed or playpen.

• Ensure that the transmitter and power cable are out of reach of babies/children, i.e. they are at

least one meter away.

• Pay attention that the components are sufficiently well−ventilated when in operation. Do not lay

a cushion, towel or such over the devices.

• The devices are not intended for medical purposes. Warning and signal tones from respiratory

or heartbeat monitoring equipment are not transmitted.

• The installation location plays a decisive role in ensuring proper operation.

Therefore, maintain a distance of at least one meter from other electronic equipment, such as
microwave ovens or hi−fi devices, otherwise they could cause mutual interference/faults.

• Prevent excessive exposure to smoke, dust, vibration, chemicals, moisture, heat and direct

sunlight. Do not use the equipment in potentially explosive areas.

Power adapter plug

Attention: Only use the power adapter plugs contained in the material supplied since other
power adapter plugs could damage the surveillance system. Ensure access to the power
adapter plug is not obstructed by furniture or such.

When using the equipment with a power adapter plug, pay attention that the plug and cable are
in perfect condition. Kinked or worn cable represents the risk of a fatal accident!
The power adapter plug supplied fulfills the Eco design requirements of the European Union
(Directive 2005/32/EC). This means that, both in an operating state and in an idling state, the
power consumption is considerably lower compared to power adapter plugs with an older
design.

Rechargeable batteries

Attention: Never throw batteries into a fire. Only use batteries of the same type! Pay attention to
correct polarity.

Power failure

In the event of a power failure, the devices only operate through battery power. Disconnect the
power adapter plugs from the devices in this case.

Medical equipment

Attention: Never use the devices in the vicinity of medical equipment.
Effects on such equipment cannot be fully ruled out.

Disposal

In order to dispose of your device, take it to a collection point provided by your local public waste
authorities (e.g. recycling center). According to laws on the disposal of electronic and
Electrical devices, owners are obliged to dispose of old electronic and electrical devices in a
separate waste container. The adjacent symbol indicates that the device must not be disposed

of in normal domestic waste!
Batteries represent a hazard to health and the environment!
Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allow them to pollute the environment. They may
contain toxic, ecologically hazardous heavy metals. You are legally obliged to dispose of
power packs and batteries at the point of sale or in the corresponding containers provided at
collection points provided by local public waste authorities. Disposal is free of charge. The
adjacent symbols indicate that the batteries must not be disposed of in normal domestic waste
and must be brought to collection points provided by local public waste authorities.
Packaging materials must be disposed of according to local regulations.

Troubleshooting guide - Problems and solutions

Equipment does not function

• Transmitter and/or receiver are not switched on.

• The batteries are empty or defective.

• The power adapter plugs are not connected.

No reception

• Transmitter and receiver are not registered.

• Transmitter is too far from object being monitored, e.g. baby.

Observe the minimum distance of one meter.

• The receiver and transmitter are too far apart.

• The VOX sensitivity is set too low.

Reception interference

• The receiver and transmitter are too far apart.

• The battery power is too low.

• Other electronic devices are causing interference in the field of transmission.

Howling or squealing noise (acoustic feedback)

• Increase the distance between receiver and transmitter.

• Reduce the volume on the receiver.

Noise

• The battery power is too low.
