IMPORTANT

Installer and Users please note:

These instructions should be read carefully and left with the user of the product
for future reference.

BEFORE USE

You must inspect the product including its cable and plug for any signs of
damage. If the product is damaged, DO NOT use it, and contact your supplier
immediately.

INSTALLATION

Place the EH1210 on a firm, flat level surface. Ensure that the air vents on the
sides and top cannot be covered.

Place the unit where the temperature will not fall below 5°C (41°F) (The internal
cooling element becomes covered with ice if the room temperature falls below
that 5°C, which reduces performance).

Place the unit away from any source of heat.
The dehumidifier works best in an enclosed area: closing doors and windows will

improve the efficiency of the dehumidification process.
Connect the power supply to the socket at the the base of the rear of the unit.
Connect the power supply to the mains supply.
Do not use outdoors.
If connecting via an extension lead, make sure that the lead is rated at 3 Amps

or more, and that it is fully unwound.

STORAGE

If the EH1210 is not going to be used for a long time:

1. Empty and clean the bucket.

2. Unplug from the mains

3. Clean the unit

4. Store in its original packaging.

PRODUCT SAFETY

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above

and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards

involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without

supervision.
Place the EH1210 on a firm flat stable surface.
Make sure that air intakes and exhausts are not obstructed.

Do not place this appliance within 200 mm (8") of curtains or similar items.
Ensure that the appliance stands upright at all times.
Do not use this appliance in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or

swimming pool.
Do not place the mains lead beneath a carpet or rug.
Do not use this appliance in locations where paint, petrol or other flammable

liquids are used or stored.
Do not insert any object into this appliance through the grilles. This may

damage the heater or result in overheating or electric shock.
Do not leave the product unattended for long periods of time.

GENERAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Domestic wiring must be tested periodically by a qualified electrician at least
once every 10 years or at every change of occupancy.

For office and retail premises, and buildings such as village halls, the wiring must
be inspected at least once every 5 years.

It is recommended that all building be fitted with smoke alarms (it is mandatory
for new buildings).

OPERATION

Plug the mains lead from the power supply into a 13 Amp mains socket.
Plug the other lead from the power supply into the socket on the rear panel

of the appliance.
If connecting via an extension lead, make sure that the lead is rated at 3

Amps, and that it is fully unwound.
Place the appliance on a firm flat level surface.
Switch on at the mains socket.
Press the on/off switch (on the main unit) to start the unit.
If the yellow "FULL" indicator lights, empty the bucket.
Unplug the unit from the mains when not in use.
Check the unit regularly for damage and cease using it immediately if any

damage to the product, the cable or the mains plug is found.

PAT TESTING.

When used in a workplace, this product must be safety-tested yearly by a
qualified electrician (PAT Tested) in order to comply with the Electricity at Work
Regulations.

We recommend that it is PAT tested regularly when used in a domestic
environment.

OPERATING COSTS

At time of going to press, the average cost of electricity is £0.12 per unit (kilowatt­hour). The amount you are being charged will be shown on your electricity bill.

At this cost, the EH1210 will cost £0.11 per day to run.

MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning, turn the appliance off, and disconnect from the mains supply.
The unit may then be cleaned using a damp cloth with a drop of washing-up
liquid to remove any dust or dirt from the case. Do no use stronger detergents or
solvents as these may damage the surface finish. Also, clean the inside of the
bucket to prevent the build-up of bacteria.

• Using a dry 1" (25 mm) paint-brush, remove any dust from the grilles.

• If the mains lead is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer or an authorised service centre. If the mains
plug needs to be replaced, proceed as follows:

• Connect the brown wire to the terminal labelled "L".

• Connect the blue wire to the terminal labelled "N".

• Make sure that the cord-grip is positioned correctly (over

the outer sheath of the cable) and it fully tightened.

FAULT FINDING

Unit stops operating and "FULL" indicator lights.

• Bucket is full of water - empty the water. Do not drink the water (it may be used
for watering plants).

• Bucket is not replaced properly. Ensure that the bucket is correctly aligned with
the housing.

Very little water is extracted.

• There is very little humidity in the air (this happens during dry sunny weather,
and also during very cold weather). Condensation on windows is caused by the
difference between indoor and outdoor temperatures, and is not a good indicator
of the level of humidity.

DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING

You must not dispose of this appliance with domestic household waste.
Most local authorities have specific collection system for appliances and disposal

is free of charge to the end-user.
When replacing an existing appliance with a similar new appliance your retailer

may take the old appliance for disposal.

AVANT UTILISATION

Contrôlez le produit avant de l'utiliser, y compris le câble d'alimentation et la
prise. Si le produit est endommagé, NE l'utilisez PAS et contactez
immédiatement votre revendeur.

INSTALLATION

Placez le EH1210 sur une surface plate et ferme. Vérifiez que les ouvertures
d'aération ne sont pas couvertes. Placez l'appareil dans un pièce où la
température ne descendra pas au-dessous de 5°C (l'élément de refroidissement
interne serait alors couvert de glace et la performance de l'appareil s'en
trouverait fortement diminuée).

Placez le déshumidificateur loin de toute source de chaleur.
Le déshumidificateur fonctionne mieux en espace clos : portes et fenêtres

fermées amélioreront l'efficacité du processus de déshumidification.
Connectez l'alimentation sur la prise située sur la base arrière de l'appareil.
Ne l'utilisez pas à l'extérieur.
Si vous utilisez une rallonge, vérifiez que le câble est bien calibré à 3 Ampères

ou plus t que la rallonge est complètement déroulée.

STOCKAGE

Si vous n'utilisez pas le EH1210 pendant longtemps :

1.Videz et nettoyez le réservoir.

2.Débranchez l'appareil.

3.Nettoyez l'appareil.

4.Rangez-le dans son emballage d'origine.

CONSIGNES DE SECURITE

Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés de 8 ans et plus et par

des personnes dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont

diminuées ou manquant d'expérience ou de connaissances uniquement

sous la surveillance d'un adulte qui leur aura appris à utiliser
L'appareil et leur aura expliqué les risques encourus.
Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec l'appareil.
Le nettoyage et l'entretien ne doivent pas être effectués par un enfant, sauf

si un adulte le supervise.
Placez le EH1210 sur une surface ferme et stable.
Vérifiez que les entrées et sorties d'air ne sont pas obstruées.
Pour utilisation à l'intérieur uniquement.

Respectez une distance minimum de 200mm entre l'appareil et des rideaux

ou objets similaires.
Vérifiez que l'appareil est toujours en position verticale.
N'utilisez pas cet appareil dans les alentours proches d'une baignoire, d'une

douche ou d'une piscine.
Ne placez pas le cordon d'alimentation sous un tapis ou une carpette.
N'utilisez pas cet appareil dans des endroits où sont stockés ou utilisés de la

peinture, de l'essence ou d'autres liquides inflammables.

N'insérez pas d'objets dans les grilles de l'appareil. Cela pourrait provoquer

une surchauffe ou ub choc électrique.
Ne laissez pas l'appareil sans surveillance pendant longtemps.

RECOMMANDATIONS GENERALES DE SECURITE

Le câblage domestique doit être contrôlé périodiquement par un électricien
qualifié au moins une fois tous les 10 ans ou à chaque changement d'occupant.

Pour les bureaux et commerces, ainsi que les bâtiments comme les salles des
fêtes, le câblage doit être inspecté au moins une fois tous les 5 ans.

Il est fortement conseillé d'équiper les bâtiments avec des détecteurs de fumée
(ceci est obligatoire pour les nouveaux bâtiments).

FONCTIONNEMENT

Branchez le cordon d'alimentation fourni à l'arrière de l'appareil.
Branchez l'appareil dans une prise murale.
Si vous utilisez une rallonge, vérifiez que le câble est bien calibré à 6

ampères et que la rallonge est complètement déroulée.
Placez l'appareil sur une surface ferme et plate.
Allumez l'appareil grâce à l'interrupteur on/off.
Si le témoin lumineux ''FULL'' s'allume, videz le réservoir.
Débranchez l'appareil quand vous ne l'utilisez pas.
Vérifiez régulièrement le bon état de votre appareil et arrêtez de l'utiliser si

vous constatez un dommage sur l'appareil, le câble ou la prise.

TEST DE CONFORMITE

Si vous utilisez ce déshumidificateur dans un milieu professionnel, il doit être
contrôlé tous les ans par un électricien qualifié afin de vérifier la conformité avec
les normes électriques en vigueur sur un lieu de travail. Si l'appareil fait l'objet
d'une utilisation domestique, il est également conseillé de le faire contrôler
régulièrement.

ENTRETIEN

Avant le nettoyage, éteignez l'appareil et débranchez-le. Vous pouvez

nettoyer le déshumidificateur avec un chiffon humide et une goutte de liquide

vaisselle pour enlever la poussière et la saleté. N'utilisez pas de détergents

ou solvants forts car cela endommagerait la surface de l'appareil. Nettoyez

également le réservoir pour éviter la prolifération des bactéries.
Pour enlever la poussière sur les grilles, utilisez un pinceau sec de 25mm.
Si le cordon d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par un

technicien qualifié.
Si la prise doit être changée, procédez comme suit :
Connectez le câble marron sur le bornier libellé ''L''.
Connectez le câble bleu sur le bornier libellé ''N''.
Vérifiez que le serre-câble est bien positionné (sur la gaine extérieure du

câble) et bien serré.

DEFAUTS DE FONCTIONNEMENT

L'appareil cesse de fonctionner et le témoin lumineux ''FULL'' s'allume.

Le réservoir d'eau est plein „ videz-le. Ne buvez pas cette eau (vous pouvez par
contre l'utiliser pour arroser les plantes).

Vous n'avez pas bien remis le réservoir en place. Alignez-le bien avec le châssis
de l'appareil.

Très peu d'eau est recueillie.

Il y a très peu d'humidité dans l'air (cela arrive lors des journées chaudes,
ensoleillées et sèches ou lors des journées très froides). La condensation sur
les fenêtres est causée par la différence de température entre l'intérieur et
l'extérieur, cela n'est pas un bon indicateur du taux d'humidité.

COUT DE FONCTIONNEMENT

Au moment où nous imprimons cette notice, le coût moyen de l'électricité en

France est de 0,14€ par unité (kilowattheure). A ce prix, le coût de

fonctionnement de l'appareil est de 0,13€ par jour.

ELIMINATION ET RECYCLAGE

Vous ne devez pas jeter cet appareil avec les ordures ménagères.
La plupart des communes possèdent un système de collecte spécifique et gratuit

pour ce type d'appareils. Dans le cas contraire, renseignez-vous après de votre
mairie.

Quand vous remplacez l'appareil existant par un appareil neuf similaire, votre
revendeur peut se charger du recyclage de l'ancien appareil.

Prem-i-Air guarantees the product free from defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of twelve months.

Should this unit be operated under conditions other than those recommended, at
voltages other than the voltage indicated on the unit, or any attempts made to
service or modify the unit, then the warranty will be rendered void.

The product you buy may sometimes differ slightly from illustrations. This
warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.
