PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
1. Remove the stock seat by going into the rear storage compartment and removing the bolts
securing seat.
2. If applicable remove foam from the rear top and top sides of the tunnel and dispose.
3. Using factory bolts install the stock seat to the top of the wedge. Turn the seat upside
down and lay the Seat Wedge on the seat with the holes and indentation facing up. Attach the Seat Wedge to the seat by using the factory bolts through the oval openings in the Seat Wedge (figure 1).
4. Cut and tape the drilling template into place on tunnel as shown in figure 2 and mark
locations to drill. Make sure the template is placed 2” from the rear tunnel edge. Repeat procedure for the other side.
5. Drill the four marked locations with a ¼” drill bit.
6. Slide the Wedge/Seat assembly into place by pushing down and forward. Make sure
Wedge/Seat is secure in front at the gas tank (figure 3).
7. Using the four drilled holes, secure the Seat Wedge to the tunnel with the four # 8 x 1”
Torx screws from underneath the tunnel. Helpful hint: It is best to install the two front Torx screws first and then the two rear Torx screws. Only partially tighten screws until all screws have been started; then tighten all four screws securely. Caution: Do not over-tighten screws.
8. Do a final check to make sure everything is lined up and securely installed. After
your final check, your new Seat Wedge installation is complete and you are ready to ride.
