WARNING: Read all instruction prior to installation. Never work on a snowmobile while snowmobile is running. Before any drilling is done to your snowmobile, take adequate precautions to be sure no debris will end up in your
clutches or any other areas that may cause damage or injury. If possible, remove the clutch guard from the snowmobile before drilling any holes or doing any riveting, this will make installation cleaner and easier.
Step 1: Drill through the bottom of the CargoCaddy from inside at bosses #1,
#3, #4 and #6 with a 7/32 drill bit.
Step 2: Rivet the brackets to the bottom of the CargoCaddy as shown in the picture.
Step 3: Remove any previously installed spare spark plug or drive belt holders from the top of the clutch guard that
will interfere with the CargoCaddy.
Step 4: Carefully cut out the paper mounting template along the dotted line. NOTE: It will be easier to line up
with the clutch guard if the template is cut out accurately.

Step 5: Tape the paper template on top of the clutch guard, lining up the front
edge of the template with the edge of the last vent. Make sure the longest edges of the template are parallel to the length of the clutch guard. Also
use these edges to center the template on the clutch guard.
Step 6: Place the CargoCaddy on the clutch guard with the clutch guard installed
on the snowmobile. Line up the four holes in the brackets with the four
marks on the template. Make sure the CargoCaddy isnt touching the engine or any other components. Also check to see if the hood closes
properly.
NOTE: On some snowmobiles the hood foam may come in contact with the CargoCaddy and cause the hood not to close completely. The hood foam should take a set after a short period of time and let the hood close properly, or
you may choose to remove some of the hood foam.
Step 7: Use a center punch to mark the four locations to drill through the clutch guard. Be sure to make your marks
as close to the center of the circle as possible.
Step 8: Remove the paper template and drill through the clutch guard with a 7/32 drill bit at the four locations.
Step 9: Rivet the CargoCaddy to the clutch guard at the four locations from underneath the clutch guard so the heads
of the rivets are towards the primary clutch.
Step 10: Position each of the 5 top foam pieces to the underside of the cover,
between each of the 4 reference lines. Remove adhesive backer from
each foam piece and affix to lid. NOTE: Adhesive cannot be repositioned.
Step 11: Place bottom foam liner into bottom of CargoCaddy and install dividers
into desired positions.
