Continuous exposure to sound pressure levels in excess of 100 dB can cause permanent hearing loss. PowerBass Autosound
Speakers are capable of producing sound pressure levels well over 170 dB. Please observe all local sound ordinances while
listening to your PowerBass Autosound system. PowerBass USA, Inc. accepts no liability for hearing loss, bodily injury, or
property damage due to the result of use or misuse of this product.
WIRING
Your PowerBass Autosound Tweeters come complete with two (2) in-line 12dB/octave crossovers
that have been computer optimized especially for use with your tweeters. These crossover networks have color coded (red/black) speaker wiring permanently attached. After finding the best
location for the crossovers, route the wiring to the radio (or source unit) and to the tweeter mounting location. Join the short wires from the tweeter to the wires from the OUT side of the crossover,
using the clear insulated slip on connectors. Make sure the male/female connections fit securely.
Please be sure to observe the colored wires to ensure proper polarity. Be careful the wiring for the
crossover does not interfere with the window mechanism, door locks, etc. The wiring that goes to
the source can be connected as required.
NOTE: The tweeter must be wired to the side labeled OUT from the crossover network. Failure
to do so will damage the tweeter.
