POWERBASS AUTOSOUND L COMPONENT FEATURES
Stamped Basket (Black Powder Finish): These rigid baskets are designed to give a precise motor
alignment and the corrosion free platform that they need to perform for even the most discriminating
listener.
Advanced Injection Zirconium Polypropylene Z2 Cone: The high-grade cones on these speakers are injection molded Zirconium coated polypropylene for additional damping. This results in an extremely lightweight
cone that is resistant to environmental elements while remaining exceptionally stability for impeccable sound
quality.
High Damping Butyl Rubber Surround: This surround is used to ensure linear travel throughout the
entire frequency range resulting in more bass output and higher efficiency while reducing distortion.
Aluminum Hard Dome Tweeter: Aluminum dome tweeters deliver sharp clarity and crisp treble reproduction. By incorporating a neodymium motor structure and edge wound ribbon wire voice coil these
tweeters can handle high power with low distortion.
High Power, Multi-Layer Kapton 3-ohm Voice Coil: Kapton is a high temperature voice coil former
that is light weight and designed for greater efficiency and increased power handling that gives you that
loud and clear sound that you are listening for.
Deluxe Computer Optimized Crossover Network: The asymmetrical crossovers included were
designed using a sophisticated computer program known as LEAP and provide a smooth, flat frequency
transition between the midrange and tweeter. Each 12db 2-way crossover features high quality air and
iron core inductors plus parallel stacked high stability metal film capacitors to insure audiophile sound
separation.
Tweeter Mounting Kit: Flush, surface and angle-mounting cups allows multiple mounting options for
custom tailored high frequency dispersion.
Additional Features: Acoustically transparent speaker grills, rubber boot magnet protector, professional mounting hardware and speaker wires adds further value to your investment.
