EVERY WEEK
1.Inspect unit to be free of debris and other foreign material which
might hamper operation.
2.Run leveler through a full cycle to check operation.
EVERY TWO MONTHS
1.Barricade area to prevent unauthorized use of equipment while
servicing.
2.After checking Powerlift in raised position, be sure power supply
circuit is opened at main service box or circuit breaker. Failure to
disconnect power supply could result in personal injury or death.
3.Open service panel doors in deck and enter pit.
4.Using a good grade of lubricating oil, place a few drops on the plat
form pivot pins.
5.Once a year or 4,000 hours, the hydraulic fluid and return filter
(10 micron) should be replaced.
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
A.Replacement of oil - the reservoir (10 gallon) should be
filled to the midpoint on the oil level indicator with a high
grade hydraulic oil. Additional oil may be needed after
start-up. (NOTE: the oil must always cover the pump
intake to prevent air entering the system. Maximum
operating temperature is 140 degrees F).
6.Recommended hydraulic fluids. To assure normal operation of the
unit, the following hydraulic fluids are recommended:
A.Aero Shell Fluid #4 Code #60421 by Shell Oil Co.
B.Mobil Aero HFA Mil-H5606A by Mobil Oil Co.
C.Texaco Type BB
D.Filmite No. 530
E.Exxon "Univis J13"
Use of hydraulic fluids with equivalent specifications to those listed above
are acceptable. Use of fluids that do not have equivalent specifications will
result in abnormal operation of the unit and possible voiding of the warranty.
7.Reconnect power.
8.Run unit through full cycle to check operation.
9.Close service panels.
10.Return unit to service.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
I.RAISING THE LEVELER:
A.Press the "RAISE" button with a constant pressure until the leveler
reaches the proper height. The leveler will remain in this position until
the leveler is lowered.
II.LOWERING THE LEVELER:
A.Press the "LOWER" button with a constant pressure until the leveler
reaches the stored position.
III.SPECIAL NOTES OF INTEREST:
A.SPEED CONTROL - The lowering speed of the leveler can be
increased by turning the down speed control valve counter clockwise
(shown in diagram below), although this should have been preset
at the factory. The lowering speed can also be decreased by turning
the down speed control valve clockwise. The speed control
adjustment will have no effect on the upward travel speed of the
leveler.
B.POWER FAILURE - Should the power supply be disrupted while the
leveler is raised up the unit can be lowered to the stored position by
opening the needle valve (shown) with a 1/4" Allen wrench. The
needle valve must be closed again when the leveler is in the stored
position to assure proper operation of the unit once the power is
restored. DO NOT REMOVE THE ENTIRE NEEDLE VALVE
