PRE-ASSEMBLY:
For safety and ease, assembly by two adults is recommended.
Removeall partsandhardware from the box and lay out on a clean, carpeted, or scratch
-
free work surface. Use
care as some parts or h
ardwaremayhave sharp points or edges. Do not dispose of any contents until assembly
is completedto avoid accidentally discardingsmallparts or hardware.
Use the parts and hardware lists to identifyandseparate each of the pieces included.
Read all in
structions before beginning assembly. Theillustrationsprovided allow for easier assembly when used
in conjunction with the assemblyinstructions.
Note: Do not fully tighten all bolts until all parts are in place. Failure to follow these instructions may
cause the
bolts to misalign during assembly.
The use of power tools for assembly is not recommended
. Power tools can damage hardware or split wood.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
:
1.
Choose the desired
height
of bed rail. Screw the Iron Dowel
(G) into inserted nut on post of Footboard (B).

NOTE:
Side Rails (C,D) are adjustable to two heights:
Use the higher setting if not using a box spring mattress and/o
r
if a trundle will be used with the bed.
Use the
lower setting if using a mattress & box spring. We recommend a box spring if you want to use a
bed skirt
/box spring cover or add height to the bed.
Our beds
do not
require a box spring at either setting

Attach the Side Rails (C
,D
) to the Headboard (A)
and Footboard (B)
at
chosen
height
by inserting the hooked ends
into the corresponding slots, as shown in Figure
2.Ensure that the connections are secure.
