MADELINE WRITING DESK

PRE-ASSEMBLY:

• Please read all instruction before beginning assembly. The illustrations provided allow for easier
assembly when used in conjunction with the assembly instructions.

• Remove all parts and hardware from box and lay out on a carpeted or scratch-free work surface, as this
will avoid damaging any parts during assembly. The shipping box provides and ideal work surface. Do
not dispose of any contents until assembly is completed to avoid a cci dentally discarding small parts or
hardware.

• For your safety and ease, assembly by two adults is recommended.

• Save all packing materials until assembly is complete to avoid accidentally discar ding smaller parts or

hardware.

• Use the parts and hardware lists to identify and sep arate each of the pieces included prior to starting
assembly.

• Note: DO not fully tighten all bolts until all parts are in place. Failure to follow these instructions may
cause the bolts to misalign during assembly.

• If using power tools to aid in assembly please use caution. Power tools can damage hardware of split
wood.

(A) Top Panel – 1pc (B) Left Side Panel – 1pc

(E) Allen Bolts 5/16”x32mm – 6pcs

(F) Spring Washer 5/16”x13x2mm – 6pcs

(G) Flat Washer 5/16”x15x2mm – 6p cs

(H) Allen Key 4x74x29mm – 1pc

TOOLS REQUIRED:
Allen Key (included)

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Lay the Top Panel (A) down as shown in the illustration below.

2. Pull out and remove the drawers as shown in the illustration below.

3. Attach the Left Side Panel (B) and Right Side Panel (C) to the Top Panel (A) by inserting all the wooden
dowels first and then fastening the connections with the Allen Bolts (E), Spring Washers (F ), Flat Washers
(G) using the Allen Key (H) as shown below.
