QUICK START INSTRUCTIONS
Electronic Model 6100
After carefully reading all cautions and positioning your body on the exerciser per the enclosed detailed instructions and illustrations:
1. Turn on Disc Hydrator® by turning either NECK, BACK or both knobs from OFF position
forward to LOW, MEDIUM or HIGH settings. Wait 3-5 seconds and the exerciser will start the 15-minute Disc Milking Cycle*.
2. After the start sequence commences, you can press and hold the program button once (located between neck and back knobs) and you will hear one tone, indicating you have added the 15-minute Shaping Cycle** for a total 30-minute workout.
3. If you press and hold the program button a second time you will hear 2 tones and on the next repetition you will go directly into the 15-minute Shaping Cycle. Neck and back intensities may be set at different levels but LOW settings are always recommended at the beginning of workout. Intensities can be adjusted at any time. Never set intensity levels to the point of pain.
It is recommended that you use the Posture Pump® Disc Hydrator® while it is in its opened carrying case to utilize the elastic return (spring back of the unit) which occurs during rocking. Until your spine becomes more elastic, use exerciser on bed the first few sessions and/or fold the lower portion of the carrying case under middle portion of the unit to ease pressure on low back. (Refer to detailed illustrations) Always rock pelvis several times and raise knees toward chest before getting off exerciser.
CYCLES/PROGRAMS
*MILKING CYCLE: Air cell(s) inflate and deflate individually and simultaneously in a proprietary rhythm designed to activate the intervertebral disc’s “sponge-like bellows action,” facilitating nutrient rich fluid exchange. A ‘start rocking tone’ will be heard every other repetition allowing several seconds to rock pelvis with low back unit inflated and neck unit deflated. A “stop rocking tone” will sound prior to neck re-inflation.
**SHAPING CYCLE rest periods and a single rocking period at the end of cycle. One extended tone signals end of operation. This cycle is designed to Decompressively Shape posture.
Note: A short double tone will sound as machine enters sustained inflation period near end of Milking Cycle or beginning of Shaping Cycle.
: The 15-minute Shaping Cycle features longer inflation times between
the spine, improving
