POsEy GRIP NON-sLIP MaTTING

Posey Grip is a multi-purpose, non-slip matting
material. It can be used as a seating and

positioning aid directly under an individual’s
clothing, or between two surfaces such as a
wheelchair cushion and the wheelchair seat. Posey Grip
can also be used as a place mat or work surface and
helps stabilize dishes, allowing residents/patients to
eat without worrying about spilled food. Posey Grip is
convenient and economical and comes in rolls, so you can
cut pads as needed. It’s washable and reusable and won’t
pick up hair and lint like other slip-resistant mattings.

Be sure to follow your facility’s policies and
guidelines for frequency of patient monitoring and to
check for skin integrity.

aPPLIcaTION INsTRucTIONs

1. Unroll the Posey Grip to the desired length.

2. Using a sharp scissor, cut the Posey Grip.

3. Secure the Posey Grip in place.

SEATING AND POSITIONING

WashING INsTRucTIONs

Posey Grip becomes slippery when wet.
DO NOT use in bathrooms or other wet locations. Air
dry Posey Grip when wet. Not for use on lacquered or
urethane surfaces. Finish damage may occur.

When using Posey Grip alone to prevent

sliding, the patient’s skin must be protected by
clothing to prevent “shearing.”

DIsPOsaL

Properly dispose of the product per facility’s

policy for BIOHAZARDOUS materials.

sTORaGE aND haNDLING

This device is designed for use in normal indoor environments. This device
may be stored in ambient warehouse temperatures at normal humidity levels.
Avoid excess moisture or high humidity that may damage product materials.


