READ ALL WARNINGS THOROUGHLY BEFORE USING THIS EQUIPMENT. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURIES AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
Always anchor goals, at the rear of the goal, per the manufacturer's instructions. Unsecured goals can fall
over causing serious injury or death.
Never allow children to move soccer goals. Goals must be moved by authorized and trained adults only.
Net tie-down stakes must never be used to anchor a soccer goal.
Always use extrem e c autio n when moving goals, and all o w adeq uat e manpower to move goals of varied si zes and
weights.
When not in use, ch ain and padl ock goals to each other f ace-to-fac e, or to fence post s or other s turdy struc tures, to prevent tipping.
Use movable soccer goals only on level (flat) playing surfaces.
Never climb or hang on the net or goal framework.
Always instruct players of safe behavior, and potential dangers associated with and around movable soccer goals.
Remove nets when goals are not in use.
Check all components and connecting hardware for structural integrity before each use. Replace damaged or
missing parts and fasteners immediately.
Ensure that safety/warning labels are clearly visible on goals at all times.
If goals are repainted, contact Porter Athletic, Inc. for replacement labels.
Fully disassemble goals for seasonal storage.

Suspend pre-assembled soccer goal in holes for footings, by clamping 2x4's, etc. to post as shown. The bottom of the crossbar must be located at the exact dimension above the playing surface as shown at right, with the face of the goal even with the outer edge of the courtline (See also Detail "C").

1.
Soccer goals will be pre-assembled on the gro und, bef ore be ing inst alled in the c oncr ete foot ings. See Deta il "A" f or
assembly details.
If soccer goals are being us ed with outdoor ground sleeves, follow the insta llation instructions provide d with the ground sleeves. If soccer goals are being installed permanently into concrete footings, proceed to Step No. 2.
2.
Locate and dig footings f or sideframes. CAUTION – Contact your local utility com panies to locate buried el ectrical,
gas and water lines before digging holes for footings. Also, check for overhead utilities. See Detail “C”.
3.
Raise the assembled soccer goal into position, with the bottom end of the posts suspended in the holes for the
footings. Support the g oal assembl y at the proper location and he ight, with 2x4’s, etc . The bottom of the c rossbar must be located at the ex ac t dim ension abov e the p laying s urf ace, wit h the f ace of the goal e ven with t he o uter edge of the court line. See chart in Detail “B”. See Detail "C".
4.
After double-checking the position of the soccer goal, pour the concrete footings.
5.
Allow the concrete footings to cure for a minimum of
three days before assembling soccer net to goal with cable ties provided (not shown).
6.
Soccer goal is now ready for use.

Locate crossbar and posts face-down on playing surface near where the goal will be used for play, for ease of
assembly. The goal will be raised to its playing position after assembly is complete.

4.
Assembly of portable soccer goal is now
complete. CAUTION – T his step req uires several adults who are capable of lif ting this soccer goal. The assembled portable soc cer goal can now be raised to its playing position, and moved into place. Proceed immediately to Step 5 for installation of anchor system.
5.
The anchor system must be installed on the
backstays on each assembled goal. See Detail “E” for assem bly details. Begin by locating each portable soccer goal in its final position on the playing field.
Within 6" of the back end of the backstay, install
the auger-type ground anc hor into the ground. An ex tra piece of steel bar (not prov ided) will assist in scr ewing the anchor into the ground. The anchor must be installed so that the top of the eye is almost flush with the playing surface. See Detail “E”.

Route the loose end of the chain through the eye on t he anchor. Pull the chain t ight, and attach it to itself with the
padlock provided. Stor e the k eys in a sec ure, locked location where onl y authorized, trai ned personn el have acc ess to them. See Detail “E”.
8.
Repeat for all four backstays.
9.
Assemble soccer net to goal with cable ties provided (not shown).
10.
Portable soccer goals are now ready for use.

If portable soccer goals are to be transported frequently, it is highly recommended that the optional No. 441S__G Rear Spreader Kit be installed. Also, for added stability the optional No. 00413040 Internal Weight Bar Kit should be installed inside the Rear Spreader Tube.
