Wir freuen uns, dass Sie sich für den qualitativ hochwertigen Bewegungsmelder aus dem Hause
POPP entschieden haben.
Bitte lesen Sie die nachfolgende Bedienungsanleitung vor der Inbetriebnahme des
Bewegungsmelders aufmerksam durch, um ein einwandfreies Funkt ionieren zu gewährleisten.
1. SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
ACHTUNG: Arbeiten am 230 V-Netz dürfen nur von autorisiertem Fac hpersonal unter
Berücksichtigung der landesüblichen Installationsvorschriften/-normen ausgeführt werden. Vor
der Montage des Produktes ist die Netzspannung frei zuschalten und gegen Wiedereinschalten
zu sichern.
Das Produkt darf nur für den sachgemäße n Gebrauch (wie in der Bedienungsanleitung
beschrieben) verwendet werden. Jegl icher Gewährleistungsanspruch entfällt, falls Änderungen,
Modifikationen oder Lackierungen vorgenomm en werden. Der Bewegungsmelder muss sofort
nach dem Auspacken auf Beschädigungen geprüft werden. Im Falle einer Beschädigung darf das
Gerät keinesfalls in Betrieb genommen werden.
Falls ein gefahrloser Betrieb des Gerätes nicht gewährleistet werden kann, so muss dieses
unverzüglich ausgeschaltet und gegen unbeabsichtigten Betrieb gesichert werden.
2. BESCHREIBUNG
Die POPP-Bewegungsmelder SIRIS mit 120°/200°/270°/360° Erfassungsbereich sind PassivInfrarot-Melder, die auf sich bewegende Wärmequellen (Personen, Fahrzeuge ) reagieren.
Erkennt der Bewegungsmelder in seine m Erfassungsbereich Veränderungen der Wärmestrahlung,
schaltet er in Abhängigkeit des eingestellten Lichtwertes die angeschlossenen Verbraucher
(z. B. Beleuchtung) für eine einstellbare Dauer ein. Verlässt die Wärmequelle den
Erfassungsbereich, schaltet der Be wegungsmelder den Verbraucher nach einer von Ihnen
vorgewählten Zeit (3 sek - 20 min) wieder aus.
Die POPP-Bewegungsmelder Serie SIRIS ka nn ohne weiteres Zubehör an der Wand oder an der
Decke montiert werden.
Sie können optional Eck-Montagewinkel zur Inneneckmontage (Best.-Nr. 761 958) oder z ur
Außeneckmontage (Best.-Nr. 761 941) bestellen.
Der POPP-Bewegungsmelder ist mit einem Werksprogramm ausgestattet, bei dem der Melder
nach voreingestellten Werten arbeitet (10 Lux, 2 min., max. elektronische Reichweite).
Kurzimpuls-Funktion (für Minuterien, Gongs usw.)
Ein Plus an Ausstattung bietet der Kurzzeitimpuls; er kann über ein integriertes Potentiometer
unter dem Abdeckring des Sensors aktiviert werden. Damit können z.B. Treppenhausautomaten
in größeren Gebäuden automatisch aktiviert oder Leuchten in Räumen mit wechselnder
Umgebungshelligkeit noch energiesparender betrieben werden.

Unterkriechschutz
Die SIRIS-Bewegungsmelder verfügen alle über einen Unterkriechschutz. Bei einem Radius von
drei Metern (270° und 360°) bzw. einem Meter (120° und 200°) werden selbst Eindringlinge,
die sich auf allen Vieren nähern, erfasst.
3. INSTALLATION/MONTAGE/ANSCHLUSS
Bitte beachten Sie vor der Montage folgende Punkte:
• Vor der Montage des Produktes ist die Netzspannung frei zu schalten.
• die Mindesthöhe des Melders beträgt 1,80 m.
• Alle Reichweitenangaben beziehen sich auf eine Montagehöhe von 2,50 m
(Abweichungen führen zur Veränderung des Erfassungsbereiches)
• Eine optimale Funktion (max. Reichwe ite) wird erreicht, wenn die Montage seitlich zur
Gehrichtung erfolgt (Abb. 1).
• Es ist auf freie Sicht zum Melder zu achten, da Infrarotstrahlen keine festen Gegenstände
durchdringen können.
• Um den eingebauten Lichtsensor nicht zu beei nflussen, ist ein Mindestabstand von 1 m
zur angeschlossenen Beleuchtung e inzuhalten und Lichtquellen sind nicht direkt auf den
Melder zu richten.
• Berücksichtigen Sie die örtlichen Gegebe nheiten, wie z. B. Nachbargrundstücke /
Entfernung zur Straße.
• Die Montage des Bewegungsmelders sollte nur auf festem, ebenem Untergrund (Wand /
Decke) erfolgen.
Wandsockel und Sensor sind steckbar miteinander verbunden. Zur Montage beide Teile
voneinander trennen. Schraubendrehe r in seitliche Öffnung (Strich) einsetzen und in Richtung
Sensor hebeln, dabei Wandanschlusssockel von Sensor ziehen (Abb. 2.1). Bei Wandmontage
müssen die Kabeleinführungen nach unten zeigen. Bei Deckenmontage müss en die
Kabeleinführungen nach vorne zeigen. Führen Si e die Leitung ein und montieren den
Wandsockel am gewünschten Montageort (Abb. 3.1). Verwenden Sie bei einer Eckmontage
einen der beiden Eckmontagewinkel (Abb. 3.2).
Schließen Sie den Bewegungsmelder laut Schaltbild an (Abb. 4). Bei Deckenmontage ist der
zweiteilige Sensor um 180° gegeneinander zu drehen (Abb. 5) Sensor auf den Wandsockel
stecken bis er einrastet (Abb. 2.2).
Hinweis: Der Bewegungsmelder muss immer so befestigt sein, dass der Sensor nach unten zeigt.

4. INBETRIEBNAHME UND EINSTELLUNG
Nach erfolgter Montage und Aufschalten der Netzspannung führt das Gerät einen ca. 30 sek
dauernden Selbstprüfzyklus durch der durch Einschalten des angeschlossenen Verbrauc hers
signalisiert wird. Nach Ablauf dieser Periode ist das Gerät betriebsbereit. Bei Erfassung geht die
Focus-LED in Dauerlicht. Im Testmodus leuchtet die Focus-LED dauerhaft und der Verbraucher
wird für ca.2 sek eingeschaltet. Im Kurzimpulsmodus blinkt die Focus-LED
und der Verbraucher ist für 0,5 sek aktiv, danach f ür 9 sek inaktiv. Die Einstellelemente
befinden sich verdeckt im Gehäuse.
Durch vorsichtiges Herausziehen des Einstellrings wird der Sensorkopf entriegelt und kommt ca.
1 cm aus seinem Gehäuse heraus. Durch Hochdrücken wird der Sensor wieder zurückgeschoben
und verriegelt. (Abb. 6, Kugelschreiberprinzip).
Stellen Sie die LUX-Einstellung (Abb. 7.1) auf „Test”
Für die Anpassung des Erfassungsbereiches an die örtlichen Gegebenheiten stehen Ihnen
folgende Möglichkeiten zur Verfügung:
• Horizontales verdrehen des Sensorkopfes um +/- 90° (vorher Sensorknopf entriegeln
Abb. 6). Mittelposition wird durch den roten Pfeil angezeigt.
• Reichweitenregulierung je Sens orfeld durch Potistrich (Abb. 7.2). Stellung wird optisch
durch Focus-LED angezeigt (Abb. 8). SIRIS 120 und 200 verfügen über je 2 Sensoren.
SIRIS 270 und 360 verfügen über je 3 Sensoren.
• Verwendung der beiliegenden Abklebefolien zur gezielten Ausblendung von Bereichen
(Abb. 9).
EINSTELLELEMENT EINSCHALTDAUER (Abb. 7.3)
Einschaltdauer einstellbar: Impuls (270°+360°) 3 Sek.- 20 Min.
Kurzimpuls bedeutet eine Einschaltdauer von ca. 0,5 Sek., gefolgt von einer Pausenzeit von ca.
9 Sek., in der keine Bewegungen erkannt werden. Die Focus-LED wird je Sequenz einmal für 2
Sek. eingeschaltet. Nach Ablauf der Pausenzeit startet eine erkannte Bewegung eine neue
Sequenz. Geeignet z.B. zur Ansteuerung eines Gongs.
5. PRAKTISCHE TIPPS
• Ungewolltes Einschalten kann z. B. durc h Kleintiere oder durch vom Wind bewegte
Bäume, Büsche im Erfassungsbereich ausgelöst werden.
• Durch frontales Bewegen auf den Melder zu, kann die Reichweite stark verkürzt sein.

7. GEWÄHRLEISTUNG
POPP Bewegungsmelder sind mit moderner Tec hnik gefertigt und unterliegen einer strikten
Qualitätskontrolle. Sollten dennoch Mängel an Ihrem Gerät auftreten, leistet die POPP GmbH im
nachstehenden Umfang Gewähr.
1. Unsere Gewährleistung umfasst die Nachbesserung oder Neulieferung eines Gerätes, wenn
dieses nachweisbar in der Funktion oder Materialbeschaffenheit Fehler auf weist.
2. Die Gewährleistung bezieht sich nicht auf natürliche Abnutzung oder Transportschäden, ferner
nicht auf Schäden infolge der Nichtbeachtung der Einbauhinweise sowie unsachgerechter
Installation. Die Gewährleistung v erliert automatisch ihren Anspruch, wenn das Gerät nach
Fehlerdiagnose geöffnet wurde.
3. Die Dauer der Gewährleistung beträgt 24 Monate ab Kauf des Gerätes durch den
Endverbraucher. Die Einhaltung der Anspruchsfrist ist durch Nachweis des Kaufdatums mittels
beigefügter Rechnung, Lieferschein oder ähnli cher Unterlagen zu belegen.
Mitgelieferte Batterien, Leuchtmittel und Akkus sind von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.
Die POPP GmbH haftet nicht für indirekte, Folge- und Vermögensschäden.

We are glad that you have chosen high-quality movement sensors manufactured by POPP.
Please read the following operating manual carefully before commissioning the movement
sensor in order to guarantee its perfect function.
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: work on the 230V power supply must only be performed by authorised qualified
personnel in accordance with the local installation regulations/standards. Before mounting the
product, the mains supply must be switched off and secured against switching on again.
The product may only be used properly (as described in the operating manual). Any warranty
claim lapses if changes or modifications have been made or if the device has been painted. The
movement sensor must be checked for damage immediately after unpacking. In case of damage,
the device may not be commissioned.
If hazard-free operation of the device cannot be guaranteed, it must be switched off immediately
and secured against inadvertent operation.
2. DESCRIPTION
The POPP SIRIS movement sensors with 120°/200°/270°/360° detection area are passive
infrared sensors which react to moving sources of heat (people, vehicles). If the movement
sensor detects changes to the heat radiation in its detection area, it switches on, depending on
the light value of the load connected (e.g. lighting), for an adjustable duration. If the heat
source then exits the detection area, the movement sensor switches the load off again after a
time you have pre-selected (3sec. – 20min.)
The POPP movement sensor series SIRIS can be mounted on the wall or on the ceiling without
additional accessories.
You can optionally order corner adapter plates for interior corner mounting (order no. 761 958 )
or for exterior corner mounting (order no. 761 941).
The POPP movement sensor is equipped with a plant program, with which the sensor works
according to pre-set values (10 Lux, 2 min., max. electronic range).
Short-term pulse function (for timers, gongs etc.)
An added feature of the installation is offered by the short-term pulse function; this can be
activated by an integrated potentiometer located underneath the cover ring of the sensor. This
way, e.g. automated stairwell
lights in larger buildings can be activated automatically or lights in rooms with changing
ambient light can be operated more energy-efficiently.

Undercrawl protection
The SIRIS movement sensors all have underc rawl protection. With a radius of three meters
(270° and 360°) or one meter (120° and 200°), even intruders who approach on all fou rs can
be detected.
3. INSTALLATION/MOUNTING/CONNECTION
Before mounting, please heed the following points:
• Before mounting the product, disconnect the mains supply.
• The minimum height of the sensor is 1.80 m.
• All range details refer to a mounting height of 2.50 m (deviations cause a change in the
detection area)
• Optional function (max. range) is achieved if the mounting is sideways to the direction of
movement (Fig. 1).
• Heed the line of site to the sensor since infrared radiation cannot penetrate fixed objects.
• In order not to influence the installed light sensor, adhere to a minimum distance of 1 m
to the connected lighting and light sources must not be directed directly at the sensor.
• Consider local circumstances such as neighbouring land/distance to the street.
• Only mount the movement sensor on a fixed, even subsurface (wall/ceiling).
The wall socket and sensor must be connected to one another via a plug. For mounting,
disconnect the parts from one another. Use a screwdriver in the side opening (line) and lift in the
direction of the sensor while pulling the wall connection socket from the sensor (Fig. 2.1).
For wall mounting, the cable feeds must point downwards. For ceiling mounting, the cable feeds
must point forwards. Feed the line in and mount the wall socket in the desired mounting
location (Fig. 3.1). For corner mounting, use one of the two corner mounting brackets (Fig. 3.2).
Connect the movement sensor according to the circuit diagram
(Fig. 4).
For ceiling mounting, the two-part sensor must be turned 180° against itself (Fig. 5)
Plug the sensor into the wall socket until it snaps in (Fig. 2.2).
Note: the movement sensor must always be fastened so that the sensor points downwards.
4. COMMISSIONING AND ADJUSTMENT
After successful mounting and switching on of the mains supply, the device carries out a self-test
cycle which lasts approx. 30 sec; this signals that the connected load is switched on. After this
period has elapsed, the device is ready for operation. With detection, the focus LED stays on
permanently. In test mode, the focus LED light up permanently and the load is switched on for
approx. 2 sec.

In short-pulse mode, the focus LED blinks and the load is active for 0.5 sec, after that, it is
inactive for 9 sec. The adjustment elements are covered in the housing. By carefully pulling out
the adjustment ring, the sensor head is unlocked and it comes approx. 1 cm. out of its housing.
If you push it upwards, the sensor will be pushed back and locked. (Fig. 6, Ballpoint pen
principle).
Set the LUX setting (Fig. 7.1) to ”Test”.
For the adjustment of the detection area to the local circumstances, you have the following
possibilities:
• Horizontal swivelling of the sensor head by +/- 90° (unlock the sensor head in
advance Fig. 6) Middle position is indicated by the red arrow.

SETTING ELEMENT ON-TIME DURATION (Fig. 7.3)
On-time duration can be set: Impulse (270°-360°) 3 sec.- 20 min.
Short-term pulse funktion means a switch-on duration of approx. 0,5 sec., followed by a pause
time of approx. 9 sec. in which no movements are detected. The focus LED is switched on once
per sequence for 2 sec. After the pause time has elapsed, a detected movement starts a new
sequence. Suitable, e.g. for the activation of a gong.
5. PRACTICAL TIPS
• Unwanted switching on can be triggered, e.g. by small animals or by trees and bushes
moved by the wind in the detection area.
• Through frontal movement towards the sensor, the range can be shortened significantly.

7. WARRANTY
POPP movement sensors are made using modern equipment and are subject to strict quality
control. Should nevertheless your unit become defective, POPP GmbH offers the following
warranty terms.
1. Our warranty includes repair or repl acement of a unit that is proven to be defective in its
functioning or in the quality of materials used.
2. The warranty does not cover natural wear and tear, nor damage in transport; nor does it cover
damage arising from disregard of the installation instructions, nor poor workmanship during
installation. The warranty shall lapse automatically if diagnosis of the fault shows that the unit
has been opened.
3. The warranty period extends for 24 months from the date of purchase of the unit by the end
user. An invoice, delivery note or similar must be supplied with the returned unit as documentary
evidence of date of purchase to support a claim made under warranty.
Included batteries, lamps and rechargeable batteries are excluded from the warranty.
POPP GmbH is not liable for indirect, consequential and property losses.

Veuillez lire attentivement le mode d'emploi suivant avant la mise en service du détecteur de
mouvement, afin de garantir un fonctionnement impeccable.
1. CONSIGNES DE SECURITE
ATTENTION: Les travaux sur le réseau 230 V peuvent uniquement être effectués par du personnel
spécialisé autorisé en tenant compte des prescriptions d'installation/normes nationales en
vigueur. Avant le montage du produit, la tension réseau doit être coupée et protégée contre le
réenclenchement.
Le produit peut uniquement être utilisé de manière conforme (comme décrit dans le mode
d'emploi). Tout droit à la garantie devient caduc si des changements, modifications ou peintures
sont effectués. Le détecteur de mouvement doit être contrôlé pour détériorations éventuelles
immédiatement après le déballage. En cas de détérioration, l'appareil ne peut en aucun cas être
mis en service.
Si un fonctionnement sans danger de l'appareil ne peut pas être garanti, celui-ci doit
immédiatement être désactivé et verrouillé contre tout fonctionnement intempestif.
2. DESCRIPTION
Les détecteurs de mouvement POPP SIRIS avec zone de détection de 120°/200°/270°/360°
sont des détecteurs infrarouges passifs qui réagissent aux sources de chaleur en mouvement
(personnes, véhicules). Si le détecteur de mouvement détecte des modifications du rayonnement
thermique dans sa zone de détection, il commute les consommateurs raccordés (p. ex. éclairage)
en fonction de l'indice de lumination réglé, pendant une durée réglable.
Si la source de chaleur quitte la zone de détection, le détecteur de mouvement met à nouveau le
consommateur hors service après un délai que vous avez prédéfini (3 s - 20 min).
Les détecteurs de mouvement POPP de la série SIRIS peuvent être montés au mur ou au plafond
sans accessoires supplémentaires.
En option, vous pouvez commander des plaques d'adaptation d'angle pour le montage dans un
angle rentrant
(Réf. commande 761 958) ou pour le montage dans un angle saillant (Réf. commande 761
941).
Le détecteur de mouvement POPP est équipé d'un programme d'usine pour lequel le détecteurs
fonctionne selon des valeurs prédéfinies (10 lux, 2 min, portée électronique max.).

Fonctionnement à impulsion de courte durée (pour minuteries, sonnettes, etc.)
Un équipement supplémentaire est constitué par l'impulsion de co urte durée; celle-ci peut
être activée via un potentiomètre intégré en dessous de la bague de recouvrement du
détecteur. Ceci permet notamment d'activer des automates de cage d'escaliers dans des
bâtiments de grande taille ou d'exploiter de manière encore plus économique l'éclairage
dans des locaux à luminosité ambiante variable.
Protection contre l'approche rampante
Les détecteurs de mouvement SIRIS disposent tous d'une protection contre l'approche
rampante. Pour un rayon de trois mètres (270° et 360°) ou un mètre (120° et 200°),
même les intrus qui s'approchent à quatre pattes sont détectés.
3. INSTALLATION/MONTAGE/RACCORDEMENT
Veuillez tenir compte des points suivants avant le montage:
• Avant le montage du produit, la tension du secteur doit être coupée.
• La hauteur minimale du détecteur est de 1,80 m.
• Toutes les indications de portée se rapportent à une hauteur de montage de 2,50
m (des hauteurs différentes conduisent à une modification de la zone de
détection)
• On obtient un fonctionnement optimal (portée max.) lorsque le montage est
réalisé latéralement par rapport à la direction de déplacement (Fig. 1).
• On doit veiller à la liberté de vision vers le détecteur, les rayons infrarouges ne
pouvant pas traverser de corps solides.
• Afin de ne pas influencer le capteur de lumière incorporé, respecter une distance
minimale de 1 m à l'éclairage raccordé et ne pas orienter de sources de lumière
directement vers le détecteur.
• Tenez compte des circonstances locales, telles que p. ex. les terrains voisins / la
distance à la rue.
• Le montage du détecteur de mouvement devrait se faire uniquement sur un
support solide, plan
• (mur / plafond).

Le socle mural et le détecteur sont reliés ensemble par emboîtement. Pour le montage,
séparer les deux pièces. Introduire le tournevis dans l'ouverture laté rale (trait) et faire
levier dans la direction du détecteur, ce faisant détacher le socle mural du détecteur (Fig.
2.1).
Pour le montage mural, les entrées de câbles doivent être orientées vers le bas. Pour le
montage au plafond, les entrées de câbles doivent être orientées vers l'avant.
Introduisez le câble et montez le socle mural à l'emplacement de montage désiré (Fig.
3.1). Pour un montage d'angle, utilisez une des deux équerres de montage (Fig. 3.2).
Raccordez le détecteur de mouvement selon le sché ma de câblage (Fig. 4).
Pour le montage au plafond, les deux parties du détecteur doivent être tournées de 180°
l'une par rapport à l'autre (Fig. 5)
Emboîter le détecteur sur le socle mural jusqu'à ce qu'il se verrouille (Fig. 2.2).
Indication: Le détecteur de mouvement doit toujours être fixé de telle façon que le
détecteur soit orienté vers le bas.
4. MISE EN SERVICE ET REGLAGE
Après le montage et le branchement de la tension de réseau, l'appareil effectue un cycle
d'autocontrôle d'une durée d'env. 30 s, qui est signalé par l'enclenchement du
consommateur raccordé. A l'expiration de cette période, l'appareil est prêt à fonctionner.
En cas de détection, la LED de focalisation se met en allumage permanent. En mode de
test, la LED de focalisation s'allume en permanence et le consommateur est enclenché
pendant env. 2 s. En mode d'impulsion de courte durée, la LED de focalisation clignote et
le consommateur est actif pendant 0,5 s, ensuite inactif pendant 9 s. Les éléments de
réglage se trouvent cachés dans le boîtier. En extrayant prudemment la bague de régalge,
on déverrouille la tête du détecteur et celle-ci sort d'en v. 1 cm de son boîtier. D'une
poussée vers le haut, le détecteur est à nouveau re mis en place et verrouillé.

Pour l'adaptation de la zone de détection aux circonstances locales, vous disposez des
possibilités suivantes:
• Rotation horizontale de la tête du détecteur de +/- 90°
(déverrouiller préalablement la tête du
détecteur Fig. 6) La position médiane est indiquée par la flèche rouge.
• Réglage de la portée de détection selon le champ du détecteur par trait de
potentiomètre (Fig. 7.2). La position est indiquée de manière optique par la LED
de focalisation (Fig. 8). Les SIRIS 120 et 200 disposent de 2 détecteurs chacun.
Les SIRIS 270 et 360 disposent de 3 détecteurs chacun.
• Utilisation des films de masquage joints pour masquer des zones de manière
ciblée (Fig. 9).
Elément de réglage durée d'enclenchement (Fig. 7.3)
Durée d'enclenchement réglable: impulsion (270°-360°) 3 s - 20 min
Impulsion de courte durée signifie une durée d'enclenchement d'env. 0,5 s, suivie d'un
temps de pause d'env. 9 s, durant lequel aucun mouvement n'est détecté. La LED de
focalisation est enclenchée une pendant 2 s par séquence. A l'expiration du temps de
pause, un mouvement détecté démarre une nouvelle séquence. Convient p. ex. pour la
commande d'un gong.
5. CONSEILS PRATIQUES
• Un enclenchement intempestif peut p. ex. être provoqué par des petits animaux ou
par des mouvements d'arbres ou de buissons provoqués par le vent dans la zone
de détection.
• Pour un mouvement frontal vers le détecteur, la portée de détection peut être
fortement réduite.
