designed to let you know about many
important aspects of your vehicle’s
operation. It is important to read your
Owner Manual and become familiar
with the information being relayed to
you by the lights, gauges and indicators,
as well as what action can be taken to
ensure safety and to prevent damage.

The Driver Information Center (DIC) on
the instrument panel cluster displays a
number of vehicle functions, including
the trip computer, vehicle feature
customization, audio information and
vehicle warning messages.
DIC Controls
DIC functions and menus can be
accessed using the following controls
located on the left side of the steering
wheel:
(Trip): Press this button to scroll
through the trip computer displays and
vehicle customization menu, and to
acknowledge a warning message.
(Enter): Quickly press and release
this switch to reset all screens. Press
and hold this switch for more than three
seconds to reset only the current
screen. A chime will sound when the
reset is complete.
Driver Information Center
Trip Computer
Press the (Trip) button to scroll
through the trip computer displays,
including:
• Odometer/trip odometer
• Fuel range
• Average speed/average fuel economy
• Overspeed warning
• Units — English/Metric
• Digital Speedometer
• Tire pressure monitoring
When scrolling through the displays, the
values are highlighted for a short period
before the highlighting disappears. The
values cannot be reset unless they are
highlighted.
Vehicle Feature Customization
The customization menu is available
only when the vehicle speed is below
6 mph. To navigate the customization
menu:
1. Press and release the (Trip) button until Customization is displayed;
then press the (Enter) switch to
enter the customization menu.
2. Rotate the switch with your thumb
to scroll through the menu and the
entries within a menu.
3. Press the switch to select a menu
or menu entry.
4. To exit a menu, scroll to the symbol
at the top-left corner of the display
and press the switch.
5. To exit the customization menu, scroll
to Exit and press the switch, or
press the button.
Customization menu entries include:
• Reset settings (reset all settings to
the factory defaults)

The functions of
the Remote
Keyless Entry
(RKE) transmitter include:
(Unlock):
Press this
button to unlock
the driver’s door
only or all doors.
The unlock function can be customized
using the Driver Information Center.
(Lock): Press this button to lock all
the doors.
(Trunk): Press this button to
unlatch the trunk.
The trunk also can be unlatched by
pressing the trunk release button located in the glove box.
(Remote Start): Press this button to
start the engine. (See Remote Vehicle
Start.)

When scrolling through the menu, help
screens are available to help you understand the features.
• To view a help screen, select a feature and wait a few seconds for the
help screen to pop up.
Warnings and Messages
The DIC provides a variety of vehicle
warning messages (depending on
optional equipment) if a problem is
sensed in a vehicle system.
• To acknowledge a message and
clear it from the display, press the
button on the steering wheel.
Some urgent messages cannot be
cleared from the DIC display.
If you have a current OnStar subscription, and a warning message appears,
you can press the OnStar button and
speak to an OnStar Advisor. In many
vehicles, OnStar Advisors can access
certain diagnostic information and can
tell you how serious the problem is and
what you should do about it.
Note: Your vehicle’s warnings and messages provide critical information that
can prevent damage to your vehicle.

SAFETY & SECURITY
Remote Keyless Entry
Note: An emergency trunk release handle
is located just inside the rear seat passthrough, which can be used to unlatch the
trunk in case of battery failure.

Your vehicle is equipped with a
Passenger Sensing System located in
the front passenger seat for the front
passenger airbag. There also is a front
passenger airbag status indicator located on the inside rearview mirror.

Passenger Airbag Status
Indicator
Note: It is recommended that children not
be placed in the front passenger seat,
even with the Passenger Sensing System.
All children should be properly secured in
a rear seat.
Aftermarket seat covers should not be
used. They may interfere with the airbag
sensors and will void the warranty.
OnStar
®
Your vehicle may feature the OnStar
Safe & Sound Plan or the uplevel
OnStar Directions & Connections Plan,
with one year of OnStar service from the
date you purchased your new vehicle.
OnStar offers a variety of capabilities,
such as Remote Door Unlock, Automatic
Notification of Airbag Deployment, and
Hands-Free Calling. In addition, most
vehicles can get driving directions using
Turn-by-Turn Navigation. Press the
OnStar button to ask an OnStar Advisor
about the service plan you have or to
upgrade your plan.

(Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm):
Press and release this red button to
locate the vehicle. The exterior lamps
will flash and the horn will sound.
Press and hold the button to activate the
panic alarm. The turn signals will flash
and the horn will sound. To cancel the
alarm, press the button again or turn the
ignition key to the On position.
Keys
One RKE transmitter features a folding
key and the other transmitter has a fixed
blade key. There also is a glove box key.
• To extend the folding key, press the
round button on the RKE transmitter.
• To retract the folding key, press the
round button and fold the key into the
RKE transmitter.

Door Locks
To lock/unlock the vehicle without the
Remote Keyless Entry transmitter:
• Press the power
door lock or unlock
button located on
the center console.
The driver’s door
will not lock if the
door is open.
• Insert the key in the driver’s door, and
turn it toward the rear of the vehicle to
lock all doors; turn it once toward the
front of the vehicle to unlock the driver’s door, or turn it twice toward the
front of the vehicle to unlock all doors.
• The fuel door will not open if the
driver’s door is locked.

COMFORT
4-Way Power Seat Adjustment
The power seat switch is located on the
outboard side of each front seat.
• To move a front seat forward or rearward, lift the bar under the front of the
seat and slide the seat to the desired
position; then release the bar.
• To adjust the height of a front seat,
move the switch up or down.
• To tilt the position of a front seat,
move the switch in the desired
direction.
6-Way Power Seat Adjustment
(if equipped)
The power seat switch is located on the
outboard side of each front seat.
• To move a front seat forward or
rearward, move the switch forward or
rearward.
• To adjust the height of a front seat,
move the switch up or down.
• To tilt the position of a front seat,
move the switch in the desired
direction.
Seatback and Lumbar Adjustment
The recline knob and lumbar adjustment
knob are located on the outboard side of
the seatback.
Power Seat Adjustments
• To adjust the driver’s seatback, turn
the larger lower knob (A). For ease of
use, lean forward while adjusting the
seatback forward.
• To adjust the amount of lumbar support, turn the smaller upper knob (B).

Steering Wheel Adjustment
Adjust the
driver’s seat
to a comfortable
position
before
adjusting
the steering
wheel.
To tilt and
telescope
the position
of the steering wheel:
1. Push down the lever under the
steering column.
2. Adjust the wheel to a comfortable
position by moving it up or down
as well as in or out.
3. Pull up the lever to lock the wheel
in place.

Temperature Control: Turn the temperature control knob (B) to increase or
decrease the temperature setting.
Air Delivery Mode: Turn the mode
control knob (C) to change the direction
of the air delivery to the vent, bi-level,
floor, defog/floor or defrost mode.
(Recirculation): Press this button
on the air delivery mode knob to recirculate air inside the vehicle. This mode
helps heat or cool the vehicle more
quickly and prevents outside air and
odors from entering the vehicle.
Recirculation cannot be activated if the
defrost mode is selected.
(Air Conditioning): Press this
button on the temperature control knob
to turn the air conditioning system on
or off.
(Rear Window Defogger): Press
this button on the fan control knob to
turn the rear window defogger on or off.
The defogger will turn off automatically
after a set period of time.

The heated seat buttons are located at
the front of the center console.
• Press the (Heated Seat) button
to activate the Low heat setting (one
indicator lamp).
Continue to press the button to cycle
through the temperature settings of
Medium (two indicator lights), High
(three indicator lights) and Off (no
indicator lights).

Manual Climate Controls
Heated Seats (if equipped)
The manual climate control system
includes the following controls:
(Fan): Turn the fan control knob (A)
to increase or decrease the fan speed.
There may be a slight delay when
selecting the highest fan speed. Turn the
knob fully counterclockwise to turn off
the fan.
ABC
Automatic Dual Zone Climate
Controls (if equipped)
The automatic dual zone climate control
system maintains the desired individual
temperature for the driver and front seat
passenger. The system automatically
adjusts the air delivery mode, fan speed,
air conditioning and recirculation functions to reach the set temperature(s)
as quickly as possible.

Automatic Operation
To set the automatic system:
1. Press the AUTO button.
2. Use the temperature controls to
adjust the temperature. Allow time
for the system to reach the desired
temperature.
Manual Operation
To operate the system manually, use the
following controls:
(On/Off): Press this button to turn the
system on or off. When the system is
off, pressing any button will turn it on.
AUTO: Press this button to switch the
system to automatic operation.
ZONE: Press this button to operate the
system in the single-zone (SZ) mode or
the dual-zone (DZ) mode. The singlezone mode sets one temperature for the
vehicle. The dual-zone mode allows two
different temperatures to be set.
Temperature Control: Turn the left temperature control knob to set the driver’s
temperature setting and the right temperature control knob to set the front
passenger’s temperature setting.
Air Delivery Mode: Press the up
or down mode button to change the
direction of the air delivery to the vent,
bi-level, floor or defog/floor mode.
Fan Speed: Press the + or – button
to increase or decrease fan speed.
(Air Conditioning): Press this but-
ton to turn the air conditioning on or off.
(Recirculation): Press this button
to recirculate air inside the vehicle. This
mode helps heat or cool the vehicle
more quickly and prevents outside air
and odors from entering the vehicle.
Press and hold this button for four
seconds to activate the pollution mode,
which will enable the system to automatically select recirculation when vehicle
speed is less than 9 mph. This helps
prevent exhaust fumes from entering the
vehicle in heavy traffic.
(Defrost): Press this button to
turn the windshield defrost mode on or
off. Defrost mode must be selected
manually when needed, even with the
system operating in the Auto mode.
Recirculation cannot be activated if the
defrost mode is selected.
EXT TEMP (Exterior Temperature):
Press this button to view the outside
temperature.
(Rear Window Defogger): Press
this button to turn the rear window
defogger on or off. The defogger will
turn off automatically after a set period
of time.

ASM (Automatic Station Memory):
Press and hold this button to automatically store the six stations with the
strongest signal on the selected band
(FM or AM). Once stored, press this
button to switch between ASM stations
and regular preset stations.
(Time): Press this button to display
the clock and calendar.
CD: Press this button to switch to CD
operation.
|| (CD Pause): Press this button to
pause CD operation.
AUX (Auxiliary): Press this button to
switch to operation of an auxiliary
device, such as a portable audio player,
connected to the auxiliary input jack
located on the radio.
Setting the Clock and Calendar
To adjust the clock and calendar:
1. Press and hold the (Time) button
for more than two seconds.
2. Press the volume knob (single-disc
CD system) or the right MENU knob
(multiple-disc CD player) to select the
hours, minutes, date, month or year.
The selected item will flash or be
highlighted.
While most of the features on the singledisc audio system or multiple-disc CD
player (if equipped) will look familiar,
some of the following may be new:
(Power): Press this button to turn the
system on or off. The system also can
be turned on by pressing the BAND, CD
or AUX button, or the SRCE (Source)
steering wheel control.
(Volume): Turn the center knob
(single-disc CD system) or the left knob
(multiple-disc CD player) to adjust the
volume.
(Tune): Press these buttons
to manually select a radio station.
(Seek): Press these buttons
to seek a radio station or, when playing
a CD, to go to the previous/next track.
BAND: Press this button to switch
between FM1, FM2 and AM. When playing a CD, press this button to switch to
the radio.
Note: Engaging in extended searching
for specific audio stations or songs by
using buttons and knobs — or giving
extended attention to entertainment tasks
— can lead you to look away from the
road frequently or for prolonged periods,
which may cause you to miss seeing
things on the road that you need to see.
Avoid engaging in extended searching for
specific items while driving.

3. Turn the volume knob or right MENU
knob to adjust the selected item.
4. To exit, press the (Time) button.
Setting Preset Stations (Single-disc
CD System)
To store preset stations:
1. Press the BAND button to select the
desired radio band.
2. Tune in the desired radio station.
3. Press and hold one of the six numbered buttons until the preset number
is displayed and a beep sounds to
store the station.
4. Repeat the steps for each numbered
button on each band, if desired.
To store preset stations on the multipledisc CD player, refer to the Multiple-Disc
CD Player section.
Audio Settings
Audio settings, such as tone and speaker control, are included in the Option
menu. To adjust settings:
1. Press the volume knob (single-disc
CD system) or the right MENU knob
(multiple-disc CD player) to enter the
Option menu.
2. Turn the volume knob or right MENU
knob to select a menu item; then
press the knob to access the menu
item.
3. Turn the volume knob or right MENU
knob to select a setting; then press
the knob to access the setting.
4. Turn the volume knob or right MENU
knob to adjust a setting; then press
the knob to store it.
5. To exit, select the Back option or wait
eight seconds.
Multiple-Disc CD Player
(if equipped)
In addition to the controls and settings
highlighted in the Audio System
Features section, the multiple-disc CD
player has several unique features.
Setting Preset Stations
To store preset stations:
1. Press the BAND button to select the
desired radio band.
2. Tune in the desired radio station.
Help Menu
The help menu provides information
about the radio buttons and functions.
To display the help menu information:
1. Press the ? (Help Menu) button.
2. Turn the volume knob (single-disc
CD system) or the right MENU knob
(multiple-disc CD player) to select the
desired Help menu; then press the
knob to access the menu.
3. To go back one level, select Back or
Exit and press the Volume knob or
right MENU knob.

The following audio controls are located
on the steering wheel:
(Volume): Rotate the switch on the
right side of the steering wheel up (+) or
down (–) to adjust the volume.
Audio Steering Wheel Controls
(if equipped)
• Press the EJECT button, and
then press the soft key of the desired
CD to eject a specific CD.
• Press and hold the EJECT
button to eject all CDs.
If a CD is not removed after several
seconds, it will be pulled back into the
player automatically.

3. Press and hold one of the six soft
keys below the display screen until
the preset number is displayed and a
beep sounds to store the station.
4. Repeat the steps for each soft key on
each band, if desired.
CD Changer Operation
To load a CD(s):
1. Press the LOAD button to load
one CD, or press and hold the LOAD
button to load multiple CDs.
2. Follow the display prompts to load
each CD.
3. Press the EJECT button or wait
10 seconds to cancel loading CDs.
To play a specific CD:
• Press the CD button to play the
current CD.
• Press the (Disc) buttons to
select a CD.
• Press the (Track) buttons
to go to the previous/next track of the
current CD.
To eject a CD(s):
• Press the EJECT button to eject
the currently selected CD.
Note: CDs with any affixed labels may
jam in the CD player. Label a CD using
a permanent marker. If more than one
CD is inserted into the slot at a time,
or if scratched or damaged CDs are
played, the CD player could be damaged. When using the CD player, use
only CDs in good condition without
labels; load one CD at a time; and keep
the CD player and the loading slot free
of foreign materials, liquids or debris.

CONVENIENCE
Remote Vehicle Start
This feature allows you to start the
engine from outside the vehicle by
using the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
transmitter. The remote start capability
must be turned on using the Driver
Information Center.
During a remote start, the manual climate control system will not operate
until the key is turned on. The automatic
climate control system (if equipped) will
default to a set temperature of 73°F
(23°C), regardless of the system setting
prior to turning off the vehicle.
Once the key is turned on, both systems
will operate at the last setting before the
vehicle was turned off.
Starting the Vehicle
To remote-start the vehicle:
1. Aim the RKE transmitter at the
vehicle. (Transmitter range is within
approximately 164 feet of the
vehicle.)
2. Press and release the (Lock)
button on the transmitter.
3. Immediately press and hold the
(Remote Start) button for about four
seconds. When the vehicle starts, the
parking lamps will light and remain on
while the engine is running. The
engine will continue running for 10
minutes.
4. Repeat these steps for a 10-minute
time extension. Only two consecutive
remote starts are allowed.
When you enter the vehicle after a
remote start, the ignition must be turned
to the On position before driving.
Canceling a Remote Start
If you wish to turn off the engine instead
of driving after a remote start:
• Press and hold the (Remote Start)
button until the parking lamps turn off.
• Press and release the Hazard
Warning Flashers button. Press it
again to turn off the flashers.
• Turn the key in the ignition switch to
the On position and then off.

Note: The Remote Vehicle Start feature
will not operate if the key is in the ignition, the hood is open, or the Check
Engine light is illuminated on the instrument panel cluster.
(Mute): Press the switch on the
right side of the steering wheel to mute
the vehicle speakers.
SRCE (Source): Press this button to
switch between FM1, FM2, AM, CD or
an AUX device (if equipped).
(Next/Previous): Rotate the
switch on the left side of the steering
wheel to go to the next/previous preset
radio station or, when playing a CD, to
the next/previous track.
Press the switch to go to the next
CD in the multiple-disc CD player
(if equipped).

Instrument Panel Brightness
The instrument
panel lighting
buttons are
located above
the exterior
lamps control
switch.
• To adjust
the instrument panel lighting,
press and hold the + (bright)
or – (dim) button.
• To activate the night panel mode,
which illuminates only the speedometer, information displays and
warning lights, press both the +
(bright) and – (dim) buttons. Press
both buttons again to turn on the full
instrument panel lighting.
Interior Lamps
AUTO (Automatic Headlamps):
This position enables the Automatic
Headlamp System.
(Parking Lamps): This position
turns on the parking lamps and
taillamps.
(Headlamps): This position turns
on the headlamps, parking lamps and
taillamps.
(Fog Lamps): Pull out the control
switch to turn on the fog lamps and push
it in to turn off the fog lamps. The fog
lamps will not operate when the control
switch is in the Off position.

Accessory Power Outlets
Automatic Headlamp System/
Exterior Lamps
The Automatic Headlamp System turns
on the Daytime Running Lamps in the
daytime and the headlamps and other
exterior lamps at night or when necessary. The system uses a light sensor,
located on top of the instrument panel,
to determine light conditions. For proper
operation, avoid placing any objects on
or near the sensor.
Exterior Lamps Control
The exterior lamps control switch, located on the left side of the instrument
panel, can be rotated to the following
positions:
(Off): This position turns off the
Automatic Headlamps or the manually
activated headlamps and parking lamps.

The windshield wipers feature an oversize driver-side wiper.
The wipers and washers lever, located
on the right side of the steering column,
operates in the following positions:
(Mist): Move the lever down from
the Off position to turn the wipers on for
one wipe.
(Off): Move the lever to this position
to turn off the wipers.
(Intermittent): Move the lever up to
the first position to set a delay between
wipes. Rotate the control band to
adjust the delay. The wipers activate
more frequently as the band is rotated
upward.
1 (Low): Move the lever up to the second position for steady, low-speed
wipes.
2 (High): Move the lever up to the third
position for rapid, high-speed wipes.
(Washer Fluid): Pull the lever
toward you to spray washer fluid on the
windshield.

Windshield Wipers and Washer
Dome Lamps
The dome lamp controls are located on
the front dome lamp.
• To turn the front and rear dome lamps
on or off while the doors are closed,
press the (On/Off) button.
• To have the dome lamps turn on
automatically when a door is open,
press the (Door Activated) button.

The sunroof
control is located on the overhead console.
• To tilt (vent)
the sunroof,
turn the control counterclockwise to one of the
three tilt positions.
• To open the sunroof, turn the control
clockwise to one of the six open positions. The sunshade will open with
the sunroof.
• To close the sunroof, turn the control
to the closed position.

Sunroof (if equipped)

The turn signal/multifunction lever
features two upward and two downward
positions to signal a turn or a lane
change.
• To signal a turn, move the lever all
the way up or down.
• To signal a lane change, raise or
lower the lever until the arrow on the
instrument panel cluster starts to
flash, and then release the lever. The
turn signal will automatically flash
three times.

Turn and Lane Change Signals
The power switches for the windows and
outside rearview mirrors are located on
the center console.
Express-Down Front Windows
• To operate the express-down feature,
press and hold the desired window
switch for approximately one second
and the window will lower automatically. To stop the window, pull or
press the switch momentarily.
• Press the switch partway to lower the
window a small amount.

Cruise Control
Cruise control is operated by using the
multifunction lever on the left side of the
steering column.
To set cruise control:
1. Press the (On/Off/Cancel)
button on the end of the lever to turn
on cruise control. Cruise On will
appear on the Driver Information
Center (DIC).
2. When traveling at the desired speed,
rotate the control band on the lever
down to the SET – position. Cruise
Active will appear on the DIC.
To adjust or cancel cruise control:
• Rotate the control band down to the
SET – position to reduce the set
speed or up to the RES + position
to increase speed.
• Press the (On/Off/Cancel)
button once or press the brake pedal
to cancel cruise control but retain the
set speed in memory. Cruise Inactive
will appear on the DIC. Rotate the
control band up to the RES + position
to resume the set speed.
• Press the (On/Off/Cancel)
button twice to turn off cruise control.
Cruise Off will appear on the DIC.
Cruise control turns off and the set
speed is erased each time the vehicle
is turned off.

The automatic
transmission
features a
performance
Sport shift
mode and a
manually
shifted Driver
Shift Control
(DSC) mode.
Sport Shift Mode
In the Sport shift mode, the transmission
will delay upshifts and allow earlier
downshifts to enhance performance.
• To activate Sport shift mode, move
the shift lever to the right of the Drive
(D) position. Do not move the shift
lever up or down to the + or – position; otherwise, Driver Shift Control
will be enabled.
The current gear is shown in the Driver
Information Center while the transmission is in the Sport shift mode.
Driver Shift Control
DSC allows the driver to shift gears
similar to a manual transmission. When
using this feature, the vehicle can be
driven in a sportier manner. DSC also
can be used to downshift when driving
on a downhill grade to provide engine
braking.
To enable DSC, move the shift lever to
the right of the Drive (D) position.
• To upshift, tap the lever forward (+).
• To downshift, tap the lever
rearward (–).
Window Lockout
• Press the (Window Lockout)
button (A) to prevent the rear
windows from operating except from
the center console. Press the button
again to turn off the lockout feature.
Power Mirrors
To adjust the position of an outside
power mirror:
1. Move the selector switch (B) to the
left or right to select either the left or
right outside rearview mirror.
2. Press the four-way control pad (C)
to adjust the position of the mirror.
3. Move the selector switch to the
center position.

Rear Seat Pass-Through
The rear seat has a center pass-through
section that may be folded forward to
gain access to the trunk or for carrying
long loads. The back of the passthrough also has two cupholders.
• To fold the pass-through, press the
lock button on the top center of the
middle seat and pull down the passthrough section.

StabiliTrak is an advanced Electronic
Stability Program®and traction control
system that assists with directional
control of the vehicle in difficult driving
conditions by reducing engine power
and applying the brakes to individual
wheels. It turns on automatically every
time the vehicle is started.
To limit wheelspin and help maintain
directional control, the system should
always be turned on. However, if your
vehicle becomes stuck and rocking the
vehicle is required, the system should
be turned off.
• To turn off the StabiliTrak system,
press the (StabiliTrak) button
located in front of the shift lever.
Press it again to turn on the system.

StabiliTrak®– Stability Control
System
During cooler conditions, the low tire
pressure warning message may appear
when the vehicle is first started and then
turn off as you start to drive. This could
be an early indicator that your tire pressures are getting low and the tires need
to be inflated to the proper pressure.

Note: The Tire Pressure Monitor can
alert you about low tire pressure, but it
doesn’t replace normal monthly tire
maintenance.
The currently selected gear is shown at
the bottom of the Driver Information
Center. The transmission will stay in this
gear until you shift or the vehicle slows
down significantly.
If engine speed is too high or low for the
requested gear, the shift will not occur. If
engine speed is too low for the current
gear, the transmission will automatically
downshift to avoid engine stalling.
When coming to a stop, the transmission will automatically shift to First gear.

Tire Pressure Monitor
The Tire Pressure Monitor alerts you
when a significant reduction in pressure
occurs in one or more of your vehicle’s
tires by displaying the Tire Pressure Low
message or the Tire Pressure Very
Low message on the Driver Information
Center (DIC).
Correcting the Tire Pressure
When the low tire pressure warning light
illuminates, you must inflate the tire to
the proper tire pressure (just as you
must refuel the vehicle when the low
fuel warning light illuminates). The Tire
and Loading Information label shows the
correct tire pressure for the tires when
they’re cold. “Cold” means your vehicle
has been sitting for at least three hours
or driven no more than one mile.
You can temporarily clear the DIC message by acknowledging it with the DIC
controls. However, a low tire pressure
warning will remain on the DIC until you
correct the tire pressure.

an access panel on the driver’s side of
the trunk.

Your vehicle features rear-wheel drive
and may be equipped with “summer
only” performance tires, which offer excellent handling on dry roads. However,
during winter months, it’s recommended
to switch to winter tires that will provide
additional traction in poor weather conditions. See your Pontiac dealer for information about recommended winter tires.

Winter Tires
G8 models are equipped with a compact
spare tire located under the trunk floor.
G8 GT models are equipped with a tire
inflator kit, which can be used to seal
small punctures in the tread area of a
tire. The kit is located under the trunk
floor. Refer to the tire inflator kit instructions for complete operating information.

Spare Tire/Inflator Kit
(if equipped)
The Oil Life System calculates engine
oil life based on vehicle use and the
Service Engine Oil message is displayed when it’s necessary to change
your oil and filter. The Oil Life System
should be reset to 100% only following
an oil change.
To reset the Oil Life System:
1. Press and hold the (Trip) button
on the steering wheel while turning
on the ignition. Do not start the
engine.
2. The instrument panel cluster will
prompt to clear the service code.
Resetting the Oil Life System
The fuel door is located on the passenger’s side. It will not open if the
vehicle is locked.
• To open the fuel door, press the
center of the rear edge of the door
and it will pop open slightly. Pull the
door to open it fully.
• When closing the fuel door, press the
center of the rear edge of the door
until it latches and is flush with the
side of the vehicle. It will not close if
the vehicle is locked.
For maximum performance, premium
fuel is recommended for vehicles
equipped with the V8 engine.

3. Release the button.
4. Press and hold the (Enter) switch
on the left side of the steering wheel
for approximately one second.
